Arrived at AC yesterday. This time I was greeted by Lewis Grand driver, he was new to Lewis, he wasn't around last on my last visit on was quite chatty. Apparently, the hot assistant manager Pam has gone and he also taught me a few pinoy words. As we passed Korea town, we discussed about their exclusive attitude of the establishments and we both agreed it was a pretty rude thing to do, he said he too got turned away.
This time I got the second floor corner deluxe, with the pool view partially obscured. Best to avoid this room in the future. Also the hot porter "Rain" recognised me and said welcome back.
Had a quick rest from my previous long haul flight, then headed back into Emotions to see if the GFE girl I got the last time was still around, and she was not. I was sad although there were other hotties there, mainly because it meant the other 2 girls I came back for were unlikely to be around either.
As I headed towards Fields and SM Mall, I hit all the other bars along the way and only found Brass Knob to have anything decent.

In a generous mood, I bought drink for her other friend (who also wanted to come along too) and another GRO. It was really Hobson's choice here for me. I paid for all the rides and entry fees, at the end it amounted to no more than $10, so thats cool.
Back to the hotel they got a good dose of Pinoy TV, Lulu wanted to use my laptop for Friendster. I said service first. My first 2 girl experience was pretty good. Back to the subject though. There are liars in all cultures and people that will try to get over you in all. On the whole, I have found that most Thais will not try to rip you off, unless the ones you are hanging out with are the bar scene, but then again I speak Thai fluently and tend to hang out in the smaller villages when I am in the country.
On the other hand, even with having been born in the PI (no I am not Phil'. My father was US military and stationed there) and speaking the language there as well, it is well known and accepted that the majority of the folks will do whatever they can to get the better of you if possible - Phil or foreigner. A good example that was given to me my a close Phil' friend was that of crabs in a bucket.
If you place a bunch of crabs in a bucket they will all struggle to get out. The problem is that every time one gets close to getting out the others will latch on to him and drag him back down in their own effort to get out, with complete disregard for him. As such no progress is ever made, no ones life ever improves, and people maintain a "me first" mentality.
Now before I get the "but my asawa-ko, or my honey-ko is not like that" crowd jumping on me let me say that I am not claiming that every one in the PI is like that. I have plenty of friends who are not. What I am saying is that this mentality and this way of behaving is much more accepted in the PI and so is more visible than elsewhere in Asia. Even if your asawa or GF is not like that, I am 100% certain that they continully warning you about someone who is, often times even those who they are friends with or related to.[/QUOTE]Agree, but for me there is still a big difference.
The all over asia thing is being not outright offensive. So a Chinese maybe could mean an order from the boss or a no from a customer.
They just do not put is straight as we westerners and we have to adjust to hear the contents.
The other thing is outright telling something that is not true. That I find much more in Thais than anywhere else.

Anyway further to my report, it is good that Lewis had a large enough bed to sleep 3 of us comfortably. What an experience. Twins next?
Hotel European between ABC and Lewis has now been gutted and rebuilt (more than just a refurbishment from my observations). It is being called Hotel Euroasian.
Had an eye fillet (they called it medallion) at Swiss Chalet and was prepared as instructed. Since I was at the vicinity I checked out a new hotel/residence nearby called Valentino's. Very close to the action. Good thing is the rooms were new had mirrors,modern showers and IMO better than Pacific Breeze. Promo rate about p2200 - 2400 for executive/balcony room.
Saw promotions of Holiday Inn (now that is far away) at SM Mall, the so called "refurbished" rooms looked dismal, the green colored wall interior of the rooms looked ghastly and the rates are too high.
When, I popped my head into Typhoon, I saw the waitress GRO not dancer I BF the last time, man, she was looking hot. Knowing what I know I did not pick her this time but, I would have done it again. She was soo cute.
I finally found my other girl (who was checking me out Atlantis while with another Korean on my previous visit) while I was walking along fields. We seem to hit off so I invited her back. We even jumped from the mezzanine promenade above the pool, it was a tad scary to try at first, but exhilarating once you've tried it. One of the hotel staff saw us at the pool, so he turned on the jacuzzi for us.
She was a bit of a snorer (but not too bad, my ex-gf was louder). It was nice having someone who likes you (or at least pretend to) to cuddle up to in the morning.

I hear all the girls talk about their weekly "cleanings". What are they and are they thorough / effective? I had a friend who is stupid and caught gonorrhea from a bar girl by not using a condom. I'm guessing the "cleanings" can't be too good. He also told me only 50% of the girls require him to wear a condom..

What is AFAIK? I didn't see it in the abbreviations. I had guessed that the cleanings were more for show than results. I guess the bars have to pay the inspection company a fee per girl, so I'd think it was a money maker.
