Islandboy54,
Take a deep breath, I would like to help! But I couldn't really make out what your question was? Compensation for what?
Instead of quoting someone, be more specific to your question. For example, Do you want to take a women that works in a traditional massage place on a trip like if you were barfining a girl? And what to know if the trip itself if she goes is consider payment for her time?
It's just me but if you are more specific maybe we could answer your questions.
Some posters see ISG Thailand as an interesting exchange of opinions between a disparate group of individuals, whilst others see it as a marketing strategy between a business owner and clients given favourable treatment by said business owner.
I don't know OTH outside of the forum, but maybe he has some personal integrity about such things?
Terry - Yada yada yada.
The key to enjoying this forum is: Don't mix an internet sex forum with real life. And don't be jealous of successful businessmen. You know what I'm talking about.
BTW - I got laid by a hot Kenyan girl with succulent hooters tonight. After a long oily massage, she even did a reluctant blowjob (after a bit of persuasion - Kenyan girls don't usually like to suck). Her big plump lips almost sucked my whole body in. Just thought I'd mention that, for no reason at all.
Damn she was hot. Will call her again.

Crikes but you get about Piper. Last I read you was in Singapore, unintentially providing me with a great deal of useful info on Geylang for my upcoming trip. I particularly liked your Sri Lankan lass ;).
Always fancied a jaunt into darkest Africa myself, but to Ghana rather than Kenya. The inherent dangers of 'Big Dame Hunting' in Africa gets the blood pumping and adds to the adrenalin rush. Just don't forget to pack the extra strong rubbers, eh?
Sorry to all if this is off topic. GH
Terry Terrier,
And some see the ISG Thailand as a place where they can add their useless provocations and add nothing of value to the forum.
I find it interesting that obviously nobody really got the joke behind the "OTH in Thailand" offer: Threads named "xxxx in COUNTRY" are sometimes created by Jackson to isolate certain posters... it is not really an honour and also does indicate some "personal integrity", which btw. OTH surely has...I would never create such a thread for him.
OTH, my apologies if this was misunderstood.
Terry Terrier, go ahead with your "crusade" against the misuse/spam of an internet forum (ISG) by a business owner (me) - everybody here knows who I am and what business I am running, and everybody can benefit from the ISG promotion if he wants - and still everybody can disagree with me. I don't really see where the problem is.

Yeh. So what and who cares?
Some of us are here to focus on giving and receiving worthwhile information to assist having a great time in Thailand. Negative thoughts on this forum are rarely beneficial to anyone.
So back to informative posts is best!

No misunderstanding...;)
But, does this mean I can't join such illustrious characters as Honolulu Jimmy, Martians, Domino and, of course, can we forget, The Traveler vs. Everyone and Everything in the Universe?
Shit! I'll have to try harder to [CodeWord140] off more people. :)

Thanks. However, I read something today that I think applies to a lot of us, although perhaps to some considerably more than others.
Essentially it said that, the 50,000 years Man has spent developing rules of social behaviour have been stripped away in the last 15 years by the Internet to the point that, people have reverted to interacting like a bunch of troglodytes.

You hit it on the mark.
One of the reasons I'm on ISG is Jackson's posting guidelines on proper use of grammer. (In comparison to other competing forums and boards.)
I couldn't stand to read some of the messages by the younger generations. Is that how their minds work? Didn't they learn anything in school?
Anyway, it's bad enough that we already have language barriers when attempting to reach the fruit of pleasure. It gets more complicated when the native nubiles start to mix the SMS jargons into their language.
Luckily, I can still rely on hand signals and body language to communicate my intentions of mating with my object of desire. What will I do when I'm too old and become invalid... Maybe by then they will have a mind scanner to relay my choices. :D
Sidenote, since this is BKK Thread: has anyone know or learn the sign language being used by the deaf/mute streetstall vendors on Sukhumvit?

Compensation
....I understand that you bought her a (traditional, what kind of tradition are we talking here? Where is it and can I check it out? )massage shop ....
My original post really stated it all.
My GF is working hard for her money in a respectable job (meaning non-p4p) and not getting rich, especially not in the rainy season in Chiang Mai. The English have a saying: "She was poor, but she was honest...".
She will gladly come on the trip with me, without asking for a single penny, which she definitely cannot afford to do.
She is also a very proud lady and in the past, would not accept any p4p money from me.
Ofcourse, in the end, she isn't doing too badly with me, given all the presents, small jewelry, clothes and shopping sprees, but it is allways at my initiative and not her asking. I tend to be fairly generous....
That is why I don't want to discuss her lost income compensation in terms of her earnings with her, but rather get a fair estimate myself and "surprise" her with some "spending money" for the trip.
It's a matter of saving face.
I am fairly certain, that she does not solicit or offer sexual favors to her massage customers.
I have actually had a couple of people check her out and I feel deeply ashamed for it.
The feedback I got, was, that in both cases she politely declined the advances and quite generous offers, saying she already had a boyfriend, "an older gentleman in Germany".
I have no intention of marrying her, or even premanently live in Thailad with her, and made that bluntly clear.
I have no illusions, that when we split up, or maybe even before, she will most likely slide into prostitution, given the few alternatives the environment she lives in offers. That is why I helped her set up her own massage shop, so that she does have that alternative.
I think she is worth it.
And if she wants/needs a good screw while I am far away, why not?
I shall spend at least a week in BKK, chasing Tulip, Akane and Angel girls, and not to forget High Priestess Rin, whom she knows and from whom she has once received a memorable massage lesson, before I join my little TGF in Chiang Mai.
So while I appreciate your generous, totally selfless offer to "check it out", thanks, but no thanks, no need, and besides, I prefer to do that myself.
Topic closed, as far as I am concerned!

How about correct spelling? Just joking!

You can read more about it here:

From what I've heard - but don't really know - those who know ASL can communicate to some degree with the Bangkok stall vendors.
