Medellin Reports

I was wondering if anyone had some hotel recommendations for where to stay in Medellin for a good mongering trip. I have been reading alot on the forum and it seems getting a hotel in the 50-60 $ price range per night near El Pobldo and Parque Lleras seems to be the best option. I also don't plan on bringing any WGs back to my hotel but rather just take them to a short time hotel. Is this the best way to do things in Medellin? I also don't have Facebook, Am I making a mistake by not looking for girls on Facebook? Will it be easy enough to find hot talent without facebook? Any recommendations on how to get top talent in Medellin? Good casa or strip club locations? Also are there any good bars / clubs where its easy to score semi pros? Mid 30's white guy, decent shape, little Spanish here. Am I better off just sticking to the WGs and not wasting my time with the semi pros? Any advice is greatly greatly greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance and sorry if I am beating a dead horse with these questions.

Aside from Cali, which is in its own class, the other cities in Colombian don't really have a huge dance culture. Sure, you can find good clubs in Medellin to go out dancing, but you can find that in any similar-sized city in the World.

It's up to her to reject the proposition out of respect for the guy she's with. Colombianos don't take offense to it.

That girl was clearly disrespectful. It is never OK for a stranger to ask out a girl to dance. If the man is an acquaintance in a house party, he would ask for your permission. A nice girl will never accept because she would not want to disrespect you (exception maybe been a family member of yours).

I took out a paisa out for drinks in parque lleras. This Colombian mafioso type came over and tried to talk to the girl. She politely smiled, looked away and we ignored him until he went away. Clearly he was disrespecting me. But been in a foreign country. I was not getting into a fight over a chick I just met. We got drunk and I Took her back to the hotel but neither of us had a condom; so called her an uber and never met again.

Why do people think they can get away with anything just because it's Latin America?

Just got back from a 10 day vacation last week and I had a great time! Thanks to all of the people who have posted insightful information over the past few months, it really helped me on my trip. This was my first trip ever to Colombia. I decided to stay in Laureles (actually Florida Nueva, just posted in the Hotels thread). Of all of the different ways to see chicas in Medellin, I went with visiting casas and strip clubs, as opposed to SW and FB. This worked great for me! I would go once in the morning and again at night. That's about all I can handle these days. Going to the various places was a good way to tour the city. Such a beautiful city. It was different in real life from what I had imagined reading about it ahead of time. On the one hand is El Poblado, which is as nice as any fancy neighborhood anywhere in the world. And on the other hand, El Centro (especially at night) was a little grittier than I had expected from reading about it. I walked all around El Centro in the daytime, even got lost walking around. I felt ok in the daytime, even though I knew it wasn't 100% safe. But in the cab at night, I saw some scenes of mobs of people picking through the trash that I never would have imagined ahead of time. Anyway, I will recap my specific visits in other posts so as to not write one giant post. I will also post a few threads in the chit-chat section. Oh, and a big thanks to World Traveler, who created a map and list of casas and strip clubs. I really used this information a lot. Hopefully some of my recent information can be used to update the list a little, and will be helpful to others.

This is a recap of my first few days in Medellin last week: I got to my hotel in Laureles, checked in around 8 pm and went for a walk. People who are familiar with the area might find this funny-- I got turned around and walked several blocks down Calle 44 (San Juan) thinking it was supposed to be the beautiful La Setenta. I'm asking myself what the big deal is supposed to be. I finally hail a cab and tell him to go to Fase Dos. I figured this would be a safe place to go since it was my first night and I really didn't have my feet wet, yet. Cab driver had no idea what he was doing, even though I gave him the address off of google. Drove around for a while trying to find it. Finally got there. It would have bothered me that the fare was higher because the cab driver couldn't find the place, except for the fact that it was so cheap anyways. What's the point of arguing over 3,000 pesos when that's less than $1. Anyway, Fase Dos kind of set the bar low for my first experience in Medellin. It was the only bad time I had all week. Sat at the bar next to one of the girls. Bought her a few drinks. Drinks for the girls are something like 30 k. Ended up buying her 3 drinks, then we go to the room. 210 k for 30 min. Her service was not very good. Kept saying, hurry papi leche papi. This is a pet peeve of mine, drives me nuts. Maybe I was just tired from getting up at 4 am and travelling all day, but I can't nut. Times up. Take a quick shower there and head back to the hotel. Again, this whole episode would have upset me more but the damage still came to around $100, which is a cheap night out at any US strip club. This was my most expensive night out of the whole trip, by the way. The next morning I went to the casa Energy. Saw Marcela there. This girl was amazing. I thought to myself, this girl is worth flying 7 hours to come see. Already the whole vacation was worth it. Cost was 150,000 pesos, which is less than $50. Unbelievable. That's pretty much what I paid the girls in Sosua, DR on my vacation last year, and this girl blew all of those girls out of the water. Speaking of blew, all the girls in Medellin give great head. Marcela was amazing. Great deep throat. Later this night I went to see the local soccer team Athletico National play in the stadium not far from my hotel. Had a great time! Then met up with another board member down in Poblado at a music club. We hung out and checked out the scene in Poblado and Parque Lleras for a while. Then we went to Barra Ejecutiva. I sessioned with one of the girls there for 80 k. She wasn't the best looker, but she was friendly and the service was good. Her name was Sandra. As has been mentioned on other posts on this board, to get to the rooms at this place, you go into the bathroom and cut through a hole in the wall to get upstairs. Crazy! So, Saturday was a great day. Much better than my arrival on Friday.

Good thing those Sosua diehards won't listen to how great other places are in comparison, so they won't come fuck them up as they have done Sosua.

In all my years never stayed any place else though that might change on my next trip. I also agree ain't nothing worse than a chica trying to rush you. I'm not a huge casa guy but if I find a nice casa girl its easier for me to just get her number and invite her back to the airbnb for like 100-150 mil.

Many of the casas are closed on Sunday, and Monday was a national holiday so same deal. But New Life is open, so I went there Sunday. Started by touring Botero Plaza, which is not far away. I was looking to check out the street walkers as well, but 1:00 or so on a Sunday must not be a good time for them. I didn't see too many. I was thinking that I would definitely pick up a SW and use one of the short time hotels around here on this trip, but it just never happened. I kept myself so busy all week, that I just never made time to come back during a better time and try. Anyway, New Life is a great place, as has been mentioned several times on this board already. Solid lineup. Maybe not as many 8's - 10's as other places, but I chose Jimena who was very cute and petite. Had a great time for 52,000 pesos, which is less than $16. Absolutely unbelievable. Sunday night I went to Apoteosis Club, which was nearby my hotel. This is a strip club in the Laureles area on Calle 44 (San Juan). I think I might have been charged gringo prices. Either that or the quotes on World Travel 69's list are out of date. Instead of 80 k / HR, I paid 150 k / HR. But I had a nice time. I forget the girl's name. Great session, and the staff was nice. But that place was a little dead, FYI. Convenient for those staying in Laureles. Monday I walked around Botero Plaza some more, didn't see a lot of SW. Went to the art museum there, then went to New Life again. Saw Jimena again. Monday night I went to Conejitas strip club, which is also in Botero Plaza. I really liked Conejitas a lot. They have a lot of girls, and many of them are young, thin and beautiful. Monday night I saw Juliana for 70 k. The prices are for 30 min sessions. Tuesday I started by going to Secret Spa by my hotel. This is more of a massage parlor that offers full service. The only catch is they don't have beds. You have to do it on a massage table. I think these massage places are allowed to have signage. The other massage place I went to later in the week also had a sign out front. I forget the girl's name, but it was 150 k / HR. Started with a nice massage, then a good session. Tuesday night I went back to Energy and I saw Marcela again. She is really amazing. Probably the best girl of the week.

I leave latina kitty cat heaven tomorrow so I'm just going to write a summary as I've gone into detail on individual days already.

1. Hotel= ayenda 1235 botero; 2. 5 stars hotel imo, decent breakfast, rooftop view and girlfriendly. You're going to need to ask for a fan though and the wifi only works in the lobby of the first floor which is the biggest downfall imo but at such a cheap price its worth it.

2. Medication;.

A) paroxetine= is an antidepressant which delays ejaculation as a side effect but after a week my boners were only 70% of what they normally were and I would take like an hour to orgasm which isn't that fun imo.

B) viagra / sildenafil= sells for 5000 pesos per 2 50 MG tablets; I cut the tablet in 2 and used it, have no side effects yet and my penor was slightly harder, still not like it was before taking paroxetine but its still solid.

Locations:

A) poblado= I went a few times, once with vern to a disco club and the others to malls to explore and watch a movie. Poblado advantages is that it has a modern city feel, great malls, movies in english and a lot of american restaurant chains. Its more for upper class colombians, and the few tourist that go there. Poblado disavantages is that its more ecpensive and imo has little to offer for mongerers.

B) laureles= has a local feel, few tourist or americanized restaurant chains but its a middle class area and the night life is the best in medellin if you"re looking to party. I think if you're looking to meet non pros and stay long term ide stay here but it doesn't have much mongering options.

C) el centro= lower class section of medellin, has tonnes of homeless people and a few drug addicts but I only got begged once for money during my 2 weeks here,. Centro looks grimy but its way safer than the taxi drivers and others make it seem. Centro on a Friday or Saturday night is lively and I would say its safe to walk to and from strip clubs and bars even late at night as there are tonnes of people on the road and some police. Every other day ide advise for you to not walk pass 8 to 9 pm as the roads are empty.

Restaurants in centro: I have lunch everyday at the small food court beside the nuttibara hotel, its nice as I order chicken breast pork, beef, potatoes, rice and veggies or fried rice. Anybody who says that colombian food has no flavor is crazy, I overall liked the food even at the smaller cheaper restaurants.

Casas in centro:

Chica punta= just avoid, the beds arent fully clean, the water is cold, chicas are okay looking but they're clock watchers.

Yakuza= I didn't go but it has a bar and some nice looking girls hanging outside it, I think most guys just bring them to their hotel.

New life= the best casa and I really had no reason to try any other once I went here. The rooms are solid, has hot water and a great lineup of slim, thick, mature or young ladies, you can find whatever you want here. Ide advise you go early to get these girls as fresh as possible, before 12 pm as in the afternoon its packed with gringos and these girls are doing like 10 guys per day. You pay as you go so no clock watchers here.

Strip clubs.

A) fase dos= as I came in I had girls begging for tips without even dancing and chicas pulled out google translator really quick trying to sell sex. These chicas are used to gringos and they are aggressive, I left because I like to relax at strip clubs and it was off putting.

B) luna lunera= I've sessoned with 2 chicas, both worked hard but sadly the club is another gringo trap. On weekends they don't even sell beers and if you want to drink you have to order a bottle. They only sell beers in the room with the chica and they are 25 k pesos which is crazy imo.

Centro strip clubs.

C) barra ejecutiva= only has customers on fridays and ssturdays, female quality is okay but never sessioned here. Beer prices are 12 k pesos and chica 80 to 100 k.

D) bar maracaibo= only popular on Fri. To sat and has the least customers of all the strip clubs in medellin. The girls are friendly but give terrible sex, they don't want you to slap, kiss or touch anything.

E) avenida bar and grill= its a bar where girls are fully clothed, no dancing but you talk and pay for sex here. Not my scene so I didn't session.

F) conejitas bar & grill= the best strip club in medellin by far. The rooms are similar to newife, beers are 6 k pesos which is the cheapest, girls dance around the clock, its open from 2 pm to 4 am and is the only strip club in medellin that has customers outside of fridays and satutdays. The female quality is decent, they have both thick and thin girls. The prices for chicas seem to be increasing though as chicas are trying to make 100 k for media hora normal and I've been quoted as high as 200 k for one hour. Just know that the range is from 70 to 100 k for 30 mins, the slimmer girls seem to charge more but I will say only 1 girl gave me bad service here, this club gives the best service out of every strip club or casa I've been to so its my favorite. I actually feel like the girls here are enjoying the sex as they visible get wet, moan and are into the sex and I think its because they're having sex with less men as appose to new life.

Lastly.

Botero park sw scene= this isn't my scene at all, tonnes of middle aged women annd over weight women here, there clearly are gems if you're willing to wait but they can't be found at all times. One thing that bothered me the most was there clearly was a mother pimping out her 12 to 13 year old daughter and as I sat on a bench resting my feet for 30 mins that child had like 5 diff guys approach her and she seemed to be the most desired thing in botero square. It made me sick to see this and I was shocked to say the least.

Basically centro is the best place for mongering in medellin, laureles nor poblado doesn't have better looking chicas, only gringo pricing and better surroundings. However I've seen tonnes of white young europeans staying at my hotel, middle aged experienced americans and 1 black american; what they did was know some spanish, dress not too bummy nor in expensive clothing to make themselves a target and they all seemed fine.

Or any advice how to deal with it.[/QUOTE]Best advice I can give you is find a cheap back up place in say Laureles where you can take these chicas to fuck, there are cheap as hell places there. But always, always, always message the apartment through the AirBnb message system and get a message back saying that the building allows overnight visitors. Medellin is a very modern city with a thriving tourist sector to their economy and a certain element of that economy has no love for the monger class.

My apartment building had a very professional security service where they not only checked IDs but scanned them right there at the desk as well as taking photos of everyone who entered the building. If the building does not want prostitutes in the building, they are not getting in the building. Latin America has nothing to do with it. Maybe de does not realize that the personnel are just as professional as any staff in any other country and just as worried about losing their job, probably more so in a country that has 10% unemployment.

If they have a "report of distinction" section, it belongs there, as the reader can within a minute get a birds eye view of the mongering scene in Medellin without having to comb thru 100 posts.
