Medellin Reports

Centro is not a night time scene except for the strip clubs. They are what they are, you don't seem to enjoy that strip club environment. I understand where you are coming from because I don't like it either. By now you realize the casas close between 6 and 7 pm, basically as soon as it gets dark because, again, Centro is not a night time scene. The Metro is an alternative to your motorcycle and ubers or taxis that you may find convenient. I hope you find something enjoyable to do in Medellin.

I guess, it was just the combination of being sober, no girls dancing, and really no vibe in Conejitas, at the time.

I appreciate all of the input. I will give Centro a try in the late afternoon. I haven't written it off, just yet.

Yesterday, I stopped by Jade Palace Spa, and had a selection of 4 masajistas. I chose Luna. She looked surprisingly much better when she shed her masseuse garb for her bra & panties. She was fun, and attentive. The massage table routine is a little interesting, but all-in-all, a decent massage and good service (for 160 k). There were 3 gringos waiting in the lobby as I was leaving, and 2 locals that probably had decided to not wait around. This was early-afternoon.

In the late-evening, I went to Hooters to watch the TNF game, and get dinner / beers. The bartender is worth the trip. Last time I saw her, she was waitressing. She has braces but a cute face and cartoon body. There is another server that looks like a f'ing peanut; just amazingly curvy, and a face like that social media chick Brittanya. After, I went to Bendito Seas for Ladies Night (40 k cover for men on Thursdays / open bar until 1 a). They also offered 20 k cover with no open bar. As a single, it's really not a great deal, as far as the alcohol. They serve piss-cup size beer, vodka, or rum, with an ice cube. The last two times I've gone, they have ran out of 1 or 2 of the options. If you go as a group, I would recommend getting a table. I think if you buy a bottle, you can get one. I don't know the pricing.

I left around 2 a, maybe, and decided to check out Gustos. I know, I know. Well, 20 k entry, but the talent was amazing. "25 k" for a beer, despite the receipt saying 22 k + impuesto that comes out to 24 k. So, that's a little bit of a turn-off, if you're a drinker. Anyhow, the first stunner quoted $250 (note the currency). I declined, and she gave attitude. The place was packed, and I'm sure some of the groups of gentlemen in there, on their short vacations, were more than happy to foot the bill. I'm wondering if La Isla or Fase II could have competed with the talent, for a Thursday night. I would guess not. I finally hit it off with a tall brunette with light eyes, and a beautiful face. She was skinny, although, later found out (as I would have bet, with a gun to my head) that she is a mother. No baby damage, but not as tight as she probably once was, in terms of her T&A. She quoted $200. She spoke decent English, so combined with my decent Spanish, we were able to establish as much of a client-provider connection as you could hope. In the end, shower, CBJ, GFE, TLN, 500 k. In my head, that's 10 pops at New Life, but. I like to mix it up.

Thursday was a good day, and has seemed to spark the fire that appeared dormant for a few days. I am here for just over a month, compared to my normal 5-7 day trip. So, maybe it was a little complacency in knowing I have plenty of time, but I was starting to worry myself. A pit stop at the blue door broke the streak, and Thursday has me back in the saddle.

In fact, I might just take a shower and hit Centro!

I always forget about the metro. I love the European / Asian public transportation systems, but I have never tried the MDE Metro. Is it fairly straight-forward at the stations, when it comes to purchasing a ticket / selecting a destination / etc.

So imagine a website like Trivago for FB Chicas. You could have all kinds of selection criteria along with ratings, but the FB Chicas would be in lieu of the Hotel's. And imagine a commercial where there is a group of guys all talking about what a hot deal they got, and than one of the guys say's " I got a BBBJ and CIM, and two hours for say 220 K, and another guy says,"I got the same thing for 150 K", and than all the other-guys look dumb-founded at one another for paying so much more than this guy.

To answer your question, your going to have to comb thru all the posts where guys have identified FB Chicas they have had good experiences with, however just because they had a good experience doesn't mean you will. I have suggested a separate thread for this in Medellin, but have been shot down by other members regarding this.

All have worked, for me.

FB girls, in my experience, are cycled through pretty well. You can probably search the forum to find info on 75% of them.

One thing I forgot in my report: SmartFit at Tesoro mall is the holy grail. Friday, 10 am. Stunners everywhere. I got a 30-day membership for around 150 k that allows me to use all the SmartFit locations. Bodytech was 220 k. I will tour the various locations, but I'd imagine Tesoro will become my normal destination. I don't know if SmartFit allows it, but in the past, I always went to different Bodytech locations, using various IDs (passport, drivers license, copy of old passport) and got a free day trial. They used your ID# for the entry code, so you don't need to worry about them catching on, unless you go to the same gym, with the same ID, and the same employee is working.

Just walk up to the window with a 20 k (or 50 k bill if you're trying to get some change) and tell the guy "seis. " You'll get a card. For the first 5 rides, hold the card up to the card reader. For the last ride you have to put it in the slot.

There is no choosing destinations. Just have to get on the train going the right direction. From Poblado, you'll go towards Niquia to get to El Centro. To go back to Poblado get on for Las Estrellas.

Parque Berrio station is closest to the SWs and the El Centro strip clubs. Prado is slightly closer to some of the casas, but it's a bit rougher of an area.

If you're going to Laureles, get off at San Antonio station and go upstairs to catch the train. It only goes one way from El Centro. Get off at Estadio station for the La 70 area of nightclubs.

You can transfer from train to train, or train to metrocable without paying an additional fare. There's an additional fare if you take the 2nd metrocable up to Parque Arvi, and a fare if you take the Tranvia from the San Antonio station. There's also a separate charge if you take the L1 and L2 metro bus lines from the Industriales station.

I believe current fare is 2550 COP.

So that means after 9 PM if your weren't indoors you could be subject to detention or arrest.

As an example, at the Poblado Metro Station between about 5 PM and 6:30 PM there typically is a line that could take up to twenty minutes to board the Metro.

Additionally, you can buy tickets which will be in the form of a white and green card, and you can purchase up to five trips per card. The best way to go though, is to buy a "Civica" card, it's green in color and you can load it up with as much as you want. In other words you can load it up with say 50 K which will be good for something like 17 or 18 one way trips. But another advantage is that when you use a Civica card, versus the white and green card, it will also include fares on the connecting bus lines at no additional cost.

You will find plenty of 10's, the only issue for me is that most of the girls there are between 22-26, I like girls from 18-21, if older age is not an issue you, La Isla is the place for you.

And it is Latin America.
