Landed in Bangkok last night and spent my first night in Soi Cowboy. Visited Crazy House, Cowboy 2, Long Gun and Shark. I think Crazy House is very overrated here in the ISG compare to some other bars, but the taste is different of course. The only way you can chat with someone on the Line application is if you sync your phones contacts with the app or the lady gives you her Line ID. Since this seems to be the number 1 meathod for communication in Thaialnd you use it after you meet them on the location based chat apps like Tango, Skout, Tagged, We Chat, and Bee Talk. Again just to be clear, you cannot just log into your line app and find and talk to strangers or working girls. You must already have their contact info in your phones address book. Not line application but We chat, Tango, Skout, Tagged, and Beetalk are the apps where you can meet strangers. You can search strangers who actually want to hook up. There are a big mix of pros, semi pros, amateaurs, and normal girls. It's a great way to meet the real Thai girls that don't socialize with foreigners. Due to cultural barriors Thai girls even if the are semi pros, will not directly proposition you for P4 P. But you have to give subtle hints in your chat exchanges and they will slowly open up. Yes almost all girls will give you Line ID's in first few chats if they approve of you.
Yes you have to engage in series of boring chats to open up the regular girls and to make them agree to meet you. But you need to start chatting with prospective girls at least a month or two prior to your trip. Even after that you may succeed in getting only a few to agree for a date. Thank you to those who advised on how to get in and out of Crazy House without being robbed. Perhaps you can tell the forum where your apartment is and we can branch out from there.
You stay 2 months, so either you have a visum for 60 days or more or you are from a country that gets 30 days free without visum. If the latter you will have to leave before the 30 days are over and that would be a good moment to change scenery and visit Laos (Luang Prabang is nice for a long weekend; Vientiane is a dump and holds few attractions) or Cambodia (Siem Reap with the old Khmer temples is a must visit) and by coming back get another 30 days for free without visum..
If the former, make sure you have a multi-entry visum or otherwise your visum is cancelled when you leave for a little trip abroad and they won't let you back in on the same visum even if you have some time left on that visum.
