500 Baht entry would be a discriminatory scam I guess. Bars do not have entry charge. Never heard of it before.
I guess you don't like slim girls. Different taste. Yaya is not my taste at all. I like slim with small waist and skinny legs, but still curvy. For tits I take big or small no problem. No sillies or rarely.
Went there (Crazy House) today after paying 500 thb entry. There was nude dance but couldn't find any one stunning. Waitress was sitting on our head for drinks one after another. So after some time went away. Baccara- there was a board outside mentioning only members entry. Went inside doll house free entry happy hour 90 thb drinkanand 150 thb lady drink. Nearly all were either boob less or silicone. Selected one and ordered lady drink but didn't want to barfine her.
Moved away to Shark. Quality was the best there. Many beautiful and stunning ladies. Selected one cute one called her. Ordered few ladydrinks then decided to barfine. Went to hotel room ST, very beautiful face and body with naturalD size beautiful soft breasts. Had a good session but ended with condom burst in doggy heavy pumping. Anyway I always have PEP kit ready and started the 28 day PEP regimen to be safe although she said. She is tested regularly and is free of all diseases.
Damages: lady drinks:500, barfine: 600, ST: 2500 =3600.
Pic attached.
Name Saya.
It's possible you were asked to pay these entrance fee's to deter you from entering. Are you Indian? That would make sense if so. That kind of 2 tier pricing is done heavily on Soi Cowboy.
Shark is my personal favorite if I go to Soi Cowboy. So many good lookers in there, it's like they never run out too. I actually don't find the Bacarra Bangkok girls attractive at all (Pattaya is a 100% different story) . They are do-able I guess, just not my type, clothes on or off. They are too small / tiny or just too much baby fat. They really seem to be pushing the Asian doll theme. Not my type. Even their best of the best look too fragile / small instead of toned / busty.
I would have thought sleep here with no sex means she is a "good" girl but passion may ovrcome her. If she is going to sleep there, I don't think it is totally clear there will be no sex. Probably just need to play it cool. Kiss a lot and touch and see what happens. Don't think I would send her away.
I am back in BKK. Given that Syzygies interpreted the no sex statement very differently from me, prior to arriving in BKK I contacted this girl again on Thai Freindly, apologised for what had happened and suggested we meet again. She agreed and we hooked up last night and it was one of the best sex I have had in a long time.
We met in a night club, and after a few drinks the kising and the groping started. She had this super sexy move of kissing with the ice cube in her mouth which I really liked. When we got back to my room, I suggested we go to the balcony as its quite nice with very good views. There are even bean sacks there and as I sat on one, she came and planted herself on top me. Now most girls I have been with seem quite concious and even insist on pulling the curtains when in the room. So I wasnt expecting anything more than maybe kissing. It did start there but then she took one of my hands and puts it on her boobs. As I started playing with them she takes her top off, removes her bra and thrusts her beautiful breats towards my mouth. I duly obliged and a few minutes later the rest of the clothes come off. I give her DATY while she sat with her legs spread on the bean bag and her hands holding the railing. And then she says, fuck me please and off course, I immediately listened to her. Morning sex was mindblowing as well. I offered to take her to a really nice breakfast place I know off soi 22 (Its called Gastro for anyone interested) but she had to go. No money was exchanged and messages have been exchanged today expressing eagerness to meet again!
As I write this report, I am contemplating whether to go out to a night club or just invite her back again! Usually two nights in a row ruins the fun, so I might just head out.
Thai Friendly can be a mixed bag, but this one turned out great and only because Syzygies bothered to share his views on my last exprience with this girl. So thanks Syzygies.

....
Oh boy, the RB4 scam on Indians seems to have started affecting soi Cowboy as well. Bacarra allows everyone entry including Indians only thing they expect is that you buy a drink (reasonable). CH is variable, I have been given the 'members only' line once or twice, but no problems on a couple of other occasions, but not asked for a entry charge. Its been quite a few months since I last visited.
These changes like "members only / entry charge" BS in soi Cowboy make me sad, another venue to avoid in the future?

Guys have been seem to sit on one water for very long times.
It's very unfortunate when all have to suffer due to very unfortunate generalisation based on past experience. Suggest try not to conform and dress very classy differently to most others. If most guys have a moustache, then maybe avoid having that. LOL. I get amazed when I see groups of guys together and they all seen to be trying to have exactly same haircut, facial hair, dress style, shoes, etc. This is not purely an observation in Thailand.
For some reason there is a generalisation that certain ethnicities generally don't spend any money and are therefore a waste of space, expecting to get everything for free.
I would prefer to see drunks excluded since they often have severe behavioural problems, causing safety issues. One Japanese guy threw a glass and it smashed causing injury, yet he was not ejected. That is unfathomable. I also cannot sit near someone with bad BO, be they Indian, black, Farang, or any country (doesn't matter). Just too irritating for me and just not used to it.
Bar staff are expert in the way Asians dress and act. They say they can pick which country they come from by dress style. Certain nationalities of Farangs are still generalised to be stingy, but much harder to pick them on entry to bars.

Crazy House fat mamasan
Then she said no worry, the fat mamasan, the one you guys were complaining about previously, no longer works here.
That is great news. She was the most obnoxious hustler in BKK, flat out overcharged me for the ST and said that I had agreed to give her a 500 THB tip. I was drinking soda water and I could count. Bait and switch with many, they are all over you in the bar and then a complete starfish in the room. I think it was 40 or 50 (the one with the tats) was the worst. After we got to the room, I showered last and when I came out she had the covers pulled up to her chin and said "I want to get this over with and leave" so I told her to go ahead and leave now, just bad luck. Later went back to report and the fat mamasan started waving her arms and suddenly forgot how to speak English.

Nevermind, it's up to them to make or lose several bahts from willing mongers (stingy mongers in that ethnic group excepted), Thailand still has several fun places, I was a little taken aback by the report which mentioned two places that I have liked much in the past have started doing this BS.

I just put up with this and have my very honest waitress who looks after me special, and some have dancing girls that I know well and trust too. I particularly avoided fat mamasan who is reported to be gone. She was definitely dishonest and had the worst reputation with the other staff too.
If staff treat me well I reward them. However if a waitress or anyone else keeps hounding me for a drink, I tell her to fuck off. Service first, then reward comes without having to ask. Smart girls understand this. Dumb girls don't.
One day I was slightly short of enough money to cover the bill. My waitress covered the remainder, because we have such a good relationship and she knew she will get it back next time and in future rewards. If I am a well short of the bill total, I just go out to ATM and come back. This is fine for the staff since I am good regular customer and known to be trustworthy.
I think anyone can be treated well by building a good reputation for behaviour, spending, and grooming, no matter what is your skin colour. I do see Indians in Crazy House even if they are a small minority. I would say well over 60% of customers are Japanese and Korean and 30% Farangs.
Haven't been into Baccara or Shark for a while, but will check them out again soon, just to see if they have improved for more natural girls and or more nudity. Shark used to be one of the most boring bars, due to no shows, crap music (for an old timer like me) and girls just shuffling on the stage over dressed, and so much fake tits and noses and stupid hairstyles. Even a new DJ changing the music could make a big difference.

But the incessant buzzing asking for drinks can be very irritating indeed, if a farang tells the girl to buzz off - no harm, the little pests just move onto the next punter and if an Indian asks them to buzz off - it is chalked up to being cheap and the girl will likely let you know her displeasure! I have gone to Go-Gos with farang friends as well and I have noticed that the girls tend to buzz off quicker when a farang tells them that he ain't buying them any drinks, not that quick on the withdraw when I say it! Different strokes, I guess.

I am left alone a lot more due to being a known face, but if my regular waitress is not there, the others maybe too keen to be the replacement.

Questions
1. How do these people eat street food when flies are all over the food??
2. What are these people selling from what looks like from out of a briefcase these pieces of paper with I think numbers on them?
3. I'm tempted to take one of these motorcycle taxis to the soapy areas but looks so dangerous, is it safe??
4. I never knew the Indian culture was so much part of Thailand, has it always been like this?? How do they fit in or rank in Thailand culture?

They are selling numbers.
They are safe.
They don't.

It occurs to me:-
I posted this on "General" - it rightly belongs here as any reader will agreeif they scroll down a couple of pages. Far to many posts are by old timers jousting with each other. FFS - let's have some new information and less arguments about Candy. and her rivals.
""That as I plan my next November trip (and seek up-to-date information) that the scope of this board is incredibly limited.
There just is nothing new. Mere amplification of tedious detail on a very limited number of places*. And the same is true of the web. Look up "Bangkok Massage Parlours. Top ten" - and all the reports cover virtually the same places. Night life reports are not just constrained to NEP, Soi Cowboy and Patong but also to the same three or four bars in each place. The same applies to Pattaya and Phuket.
* and excruitiatig arguments as to whether or not 'A' is a better lay than 'be. '.
It is all a bit like country guide books. Each edition reinforces previous editions because visitors / reporters never get outside the places in the guide book.
I am deliberately making a list of places to avoid. And 'tho I may visit NEP and Soi Cowboy it will not be to any bars recommended here.
Time both locals and visitors "explored. ".

Numbers
