Yes the bar has been separated from the hotel. You can not go up to the hotel internally anymore and have to walk outside to an entrance they created on the street. Girls are not allowed at the pool or lobby unless they are invited by a guest. I had heard there are girls hanging out in the bar now during the day, but didn't check that out. I live in NY and every single time I return from Colombia I get questioned and have my bags searched. Doesn't matter if I use global entry or not they flag me every time asking the same questions of what I was doing there and where do I work. By the way I hate how you have to pick up your bags and then recheck them in while flying international.

Drove across the US border into Canada about 4 years ago, by myself, and faced a lot of interrogation.
They re-started this afternoon. Traffic horrible. Took me one hour to return from Energy to Poblado. The taxista's friend reported two hours from Mallorca (Sabaneta) to Estadio.
When I left my Poblado rental at 330 PM the police had one of the main roads blocked off and traffic already poor. Saw 10 Polices standing in the median outside the Poblado Exito.
Just given why'all a heads up so you can plan accordingly.
My taxi also told me there will be an even larger national strike tomorrow so stock up on your drinks if you drink alcohol.

They also look out for people who appear to be traveling together but later separate before they get to the inspection lanes. I know some people who have worked for ICE. A few years ago there was a documentary TV series about ICE agents at JFK. I used to watch it on the Internet. You've heard the saying, "you can't judge a book by it's cover". This is how I look at every new SW I take to the room in El Centro. All of the things that you think you may want to do with them (DFK-DATY-BBBJ) in the room, you might not want to do with them, after you "unwrap" them, or how their attitude is in the room. Not all of the SW's are performers, and a lot of them will do a good sales job on the street, but will fall flat once in the room. Your either going to have chemistry with a SW or your not, and you won't know this until your in the room. I have also found that the SW's who are very aggressive and pushing to go to the room immediately like within 30 seconds versus talking a while are typically non-performers.

I flew into Medellin from Panama and stayed at 5 star Diez Hotel in Poblado which I do not recommend because they are not chica friendly. This is bachelor discrimination and extortion. When I asked to see the hotel owner to discuss the reason behind the stupid policy they called expedia and had me transferred to another, even better hotel close by and upgraded me to a suite for no extra charge. I might add that this eviction was under the threat of police involvement. Yet the new hotel Click Clack Hotel (actual name) charges a whopping $90/ day for any additional guest! So, I later found out all of the better hotels have the same extortion policy. What a fucking racket. On my last day of the eight days there I discovered a two-star hotel called Hotel Merlott Lleras which is chica friendly as long as you only bring in only one chica per day. But no English on the TV and just basic, but clean accommodations. I am curious as to whether any other ISGers have found nice hotels in Poblado that are chica friendly. Please advise. Sounds like you've been tagged in the system to automatically go to, or undergo what they call "secondary" every time you enter the Country. I knew a guy who had Sentri, which is exclusively for entry into the USA from Mexico, and harder to get than Global Entry. He got tagged in the system for having a court order posted relative to a divorce issue in the system, and he went thru "secondary' every time he entered the USA. Fortunately for him though, it was valid for a few years, and then got removed because it had an expiration date.
I'm sure you've questioned the CBP about why you keep having to go thru "secondary", having your bags searched, and questioned which can be a pain in the ass. I am curious as to what CBP has told you, if anything.
