If GranParadise doesn't work out and you just want a bed for the night you can go to La Fuente Cabanas. The cabanas are a five minute drive from SDQ. Leaving SDQ head towards BC. You will pass Parada Amarilla on the right and the new supermercado Ole on the left. Make the first U-turn and the cabanas are up this small street directly across the highway from Parada Amarilla. As you know most cabanas can provide delivery service.

2 minutes from Las Americas (SDQ) airport. The place has a swimming pool, a covered bar near the pool, dance platform with a stripper pole. I was there one Sunday night, 6-7 chicas, all doable. The owner speaks perfect English and is a pleasant guy. I don't know what hours they open and I didn't ask the prices.

If I get stuck at Las Americas Airport waiting for a flight with a long delay, I could take a motoconcho or a taxi from the airport to Pacos Club and spend an hour or say there, rather than waiting bored at the airport.

From the airport a motoconcho would go towards las americas highway and he would probably just drive under the elevated ramp, pacos club would be there on the north side of las americas, under the elevated ramp.

To get there driving your own car or taking a taxi from the airport, take the airport road toward las americas highway, you will see the elevated ramp to your left, don't take the ramp, instead go towards the right and make a right onto las americas in the direction of boca chica, get over to the left lane and make a U turn at the next opening in the cement barricade. After the U turn you will now be on las americas highway heading towards santo domingo, you will see the elevated ramp in front of you to the left, stay on las americas in the right lane, pacos is near some other bar and a colmado, just underneath the elevated ramp on las americas highway.

I'm confused. Leaving SDQ on Las Americas or another highway. And how much for the nite? How do they compare to the cabanas on San Isidro?

Oh NO, please don't compare these to the ones on San Isidro or 30 de Mayo, no neon lights and glamour here. LOL This is a very small local spot if you just wanted a place close to the airport to spend the night. The cabanas are very safe but not for the timid. The best room is around 1000 pesos. If you don't like driving at night this is the closest thing.

You would leave SDQ taking Las Americas heading towards Boca Chica and make the first U-Turn right after you see Ole Super Market. If you know where Parada Amarilla is the street is directly across the highway. There is a small dirt road and the cabanas are behind a sliding iron gate. Armed security guard all night.

Looks like Pacos is in the immediate area of La Fuente cabanas........hmmmmmmmm The cabanas would be a minute or two at the most away by car.

I went to a few places tonight. I hooked up with two locals. They took me to all the the places you could walk to in the colonial area.
