Correction. I hate to misquote the man
I had inadvertently written "two weeks earlier" when in fact Trump admitted to Bob Woodward in a March 2020 recorded interview that if only we had gotten a heads up about the emerging COVID cases at those Chinese labs "two months earlier, we could have stopped it easily. ".
That interview was recorded after it turned out Trump's economic and national security policy decisions in 2019 were the sole reason we didn't have leadership on our side in those Chinese labs to give us that heads up as of 3-4 months prior to those emerging cases, allowing his victorious trade negotiation opponent Xi to lie about it and keep it a secret for critical weeks or months while infected carriers spread throughout airports, train station, etc, losing the golden opportunity to isolate and quarrantine enough to effectively control it as an epidemic restricted to one region in China until more and better vaccines were created, tested and administered around the world rather than the deadly, worldwide economic disaster Pandemic it became.
By early 2020 Trump was lying right along with Xi about it and, well, the Trump Pandemic, millions of deaths, Trump business and school closures, Trump massive job losses in the millions upon millions, Trump global supply-chain collapse, Trump Inflation, Trump skyrocketing prices, the opportunistic corporate price gouging and so on that followed as night follows day is well-documented history.
So I have corrected that quote of him and a couple of annoying minor typos here:

You think Trump's Pandemic just "happened" out of the blue and that "nobody predicted" such a thing could happen?
Nope. Trump defunded and removed the highly-successful Pandemic Prevention Team from those Chinese labs by 2019 contrary to all expert warnings for him not to do something so dangerous and stupid. Then he launched into the critical year 2020 lying about it to deflect from his most colossally disastrous economic and national security decisions and mismanagement of all time; that he had it "under control", that "it is disappearing", that "it will go away without a vaccine", mocking the known mitigation measures.
I submit a much more likely reason our international enemies like Trump so much is because, without them lifting a finger, he managed to kill at least 1 million Americans, kept the American military actively involved in a combat War in Afghanistan for every one of his 1,460 days in office and, as a bonus, led his "patriots", a bloody, violent, cop-killing mob of insurrectionists into battle against American democracy on American Soil on his way out. What's not to love about that if you wish America harm?

Yes, I suppose we will have to agree to disagree. Along with Trump's former VP, a couple of his Defense Secretaries, several members of his Joint Chiefs of Staff, a Trump National Security Advisor or two and a couple of dozen other Trump Administration Members who worked and observed him closely and were right there for some of his legendary disastrous results.

We all have opinions about these things. And assertions without even the slightest connection to credible substantiation certainly fits the "rants and stupid shit" category of this forum. But if you are asking me to, so to speak, "glorify arsonists" and "denigrate firefighters" in a discussion of Trump / Repubs vs Biden / Dems, I need a bit more than just an entertaining rant before I join in on that.
