Cabarete beach is not swimmable for a lot of people, prices across the board are more expensive than the Sew. And the chica scene well, I don't even have to explain that one, remember Elvis operated in Cabarete for many many years and then he was kicked out. I like Cabarete but if I was a visiting monger I wouldn't be staying in Cabarete, a day trip is cool but not an entire vacation.

Montellano is never going to replace Sosua for a lot of reasons. That said, if you like going off the ship and aren't a chicken shit Montellano is a gold mine, just have a good handle on your spanish and behave yourself.

Having said that and given that you are a "German", please explain, why there is a large contingent of Germans living in SOS and around.

It is a different ballgame in Germany and while staid and sanitized, I love the FKKs, not to speak of Reeperbahn. But nowadays those predominantly front East European women. I would any day have a local woman, as in the DR, who I can also chat, eat, dance before, during and after coitus.

You are right about new things happening in Puerto Plata. Last year I stayed at Pueblito beach in Puerto Plata. The community was run down but the beach was beautiful. Since then investors have updated the properties and the beach is now a late night party spot for the people who know.

Development for the average guys like us is moving out of Sosua while big money might be moving in. Puerto Plata has been a flower waiting to bloom. The malecon is hot for investors and the little towns outside of Puerto Plata are coming up quietly. Maimon has the cruise ships. I passed through a little town and I noticed the streets were new and freshly paved. The girls were going to jobs. It's called embert or something like that.[/QUOTE]Building resorts on the beach has been on the cards for almost twenty years Cuba Dave was talking about this in 2011. That's why I think there's a push to move everything up by the casinos. To get that prime real estate that you need for a Sandals style resort. People are there there's the airport at POP Punta Cana is for the wealthy vacationers a couple of resorts can attract mid tier US and Canadian vacationers but for that to happen the beach needs to be cleaned up.

Frankly that's literally the only reason why Classico's is still closed. I even saw flyers printed for Holloween yet they didn't open. This is not a "Sosua's dead" post but I can see people moving over to Puerto Plata which would be harder to gentrify because the businesses on the Malecon are more established, locally owned and not sexually oriented.

I know dudes who spent fight night at the Anhvee collected numbers and had them delivered to their Airbnb's in Caberette. That being said Cab is for women mongers not Male mongers so it would be somewhat awkward for a small beach town to be both a Hoe deport and a Sanky panky paradise. But what I meant was Montellano will be for VETERAN Mongers who get chased out by overpaying simps in the Sue. I have zero desire to visit the Anhvee because the insane prices but just like I smashed a chick for 2 K on the bus ride up on her way to the Anhvee and another on her way back from the Anhvee for what she said was a slow weekend Vets will start to range pass the Sue and hunt in smaller towns on the north coast. A guy we know bought a place in Miches and he has an insane view of the beach for dirt cheap. Miches is not far from Bavaro but way cheaper and although it's not a mngering destination a Domincan chick who's a well known stripper in DC Introduced me to her friend who I fucked in Santo Domingo. But despite the girl being a campo girl she had a three year situationship with an Argentine dude. Like I said there's youtubers who talk about secret beaches in POP and the "river" It's only a matter of time before savvy mongers start ranging out and getting cut rate coochie in the campos.

Like I said Cab is "nicer" and quieter and has more non mongering activities Playa Sosua has too many hustlers to be anything more than a Hoe Depot unless the Beach was completely cleaned out.

But a frustrated Sosua vet who has more than 20 trips? And speaks Spanish? I guy like that could go to a Colmodo in Montellano and pick a low mileage compo cuties for maybe 1200 to 1500 DOP full GFE none of that "leche Papi" bullshit.

Maybe I'm missing something here, or maybe a lot of guys who think they are in paradise really don't know what good service is, and are used to getting upcharged and the antics pulled as being "normal".

I also think a lot of guys have no Spanish speaking skills, have to rely on a translator, and it is not clear on exactly what is to be included, so the girls take advantage of this.

I came here for a break from Colombia, and am looking forward to getting back there within a few weeks.

Not sure if I will come back here again, but do have very fond memories of times past here.

I do know though that some guys that come here have it wired. On Saturday night I was hanging in front of the Sosua liquor store and a bunch of girls would be hanging out on the street and guys would show up in SUV's, point to one or more girls they liked, and they would hop in and go with them. Apparently groups of guys are renting villas and picking girls up, paying them something like 5,000 Pesos for the night to party and I don't know much more than that except what I was told by the guys working the liquor store. The same thing was also going on at Bailees, lots of girls hanging around waiting and hoping that guys would take them as you could see them being stuffed into the waiting vans.

So with that being said, yes there are some guys who are in Paradise here.

The price for a Moto Concho is 50 pesos. When we give a chica 500 peso for a "taxi" we only reinforce their beliefs that we are stupid and don't know anything. It can also activate their greed to overprice us in all business transactions.

The approach is very simple, if you see someone you like make eye contact and then tell them to come over. Hand them your phone with the whatsapp contacts up so they can put in their number so you can negotiate later.
