How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
I think anyone who isn't a bummed-out blind and lame leper with dark skin will be able to find a wife in Thailand.
Joking aside, that is a most strange question on this forum.
I have all respect for the "working girls" in Thailand and elsewhere, but I'd never think of making one of them my wife. Most of the forum members here will warn you not to fall in the trap of taking a bargirl as your long term girlfriend. The odds of having a long and happy marriage are really against you.
For many working girls, their family comes first. In many cases that is even the main reason they do what they do. So if you take them out of that life, you have taken away their main source of income and your wallet is now the replacement source.
Given that the majority of the bar girls did not finish their PhD, it seems that the notion of "saving" and "compound interest" is not part of their skill set. In other words, they will live happily from your money until the money is gone and they look at other sources of income.
Of course if you are looking outside of the world of bar girls c.s. for a wife, then it will be more or less the same in Thailand to find one than it is to find one elsewhere and matters such as "love", "mutual understanding and respect", "overlapping spheres of interest" and such will enter the equation. Hardly something that is discussed here on this forum.
How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
A Very Scary question indeed. Technically its easy as pie. Presuming you are not angling for one of the bar girls, you can get on to one of the dating websites and invest a whole lot of time and energy in finding your match. Surely you know how to do this part. It is easier in neighboring Vietnam where you have match making agencies catering to needs such as yours. Though in the past few years there has been a crackdown on such activities, it is still quite rampant.
Of course this route largely caters to those middle aged or elderly gents from Singapore, Hong Kong or China who prefer to 'buy' a wife rather than woo one.
Good luck!
How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
Easier than where you are from. You might hear all kinds of horror stories about marriage but consider the source and if it is first hand experience or not. Those that have or had successful marriages are probably not on this board so you will not hear about their side of it.
Have you been to Tilac on Soi Cowboy? I've only been 3 or 4 times, but they had quite a few large-ass ladies dancing on the tables there. I find when I've been there without my GF, the hustling for lady drinks is a bit too much, and big butts are not my thing, so I'm not really a fan, but you might like it.
Thais are generally slightly built and a big bubble butt is NOT a natural common feature among Thai women. If one does, its probably surgically enhanced. Even more possible its a LadyBoy. You might have noticed that they often have too much meat in the right places to please the eye, till you don't look at the face or hear the voice (no offence meant). In my limited knowledge its only African, African-American and South American women who have this sort of natural feature. If you find them in Thailand, good on you!
Hi guys.
What area of Sukhumvit is mainly "farang-fiendly" area? (for mongering / MP, sopies++++). I mean eurpoean / white area, like them you find for korean, japanese, indian and so on.
Will be in BKK again in October after a long "break" from LOS. Used to stay I lower Sukh. Soi 5 but from I rememeber it was most indian and black people there. No ofense please. Stayed in soi 18/20/22 for the last 5 yrs.
No offense please?! LOL. You want to be around white people only, stay in your country. Thailand is very multi-ethnic. And don't stereotype people. Geez. You sound very immature.
1. Their system is used to the flies over the food. You will get sick but they won't.
2. Lottery tickets.
3. Mostly safe but they also tend to get in to accidents. If you are talking about Tuk tuks they get a commission from the soapies.
4. Indian culture got very much ingrained in to Thai culture during 1700/1800's when they were trading. Read up on the history of Thailand.
You obviously have no clue!! If you read up on the history of Thailand you will realize that Thailand is influenced by Indian and Chinese cultures. Those bird statues you see on every building? That's the Indian god Garuda. Budhism is from the sub continent. Many Thai names are derived from Sanskrit. Least you can do is read the Wikipedia page!! Don't be so lazy.

Okay Garuda appears on Bangkok Bank and some other buildings. Its seems common to Hindu and Buddhist religion. So what? Some may not see this as greatly relevant. Everyone knows the Buddha was born in India, and that Sankrit is the parent language for many Thai words.
However some people maybe be looking for more modern parallels.
Personally, I haven't been to India, so I fail to be able to see great parallels in relevant parts of the culture to a tourist. I just would not know or really care too much. I have been to Indian restaurants. LOL They don't strike me as particularly like Thai, other than rice, curries and roti. LOL.

What is wrong with Soi 18 to 22? Sure I don't like to stay in Soi 3 to 5 either (sometimes know as the Arab sector), its not my area, but I could stay Soi 2, 4 or 6 if need to be in that area. Soi 29 Mermaid is perfect for me right opposite Soi 22. Close to Cowboy and Oily MPs. Not close to Soapies. If you want to be close to Soapies then can stay in Ratchada, but I am not sufficiently addicted to soapies these days.
I once stayed in the Zenith hotel Soi 3, many years ago. When I went down to breakfast, everyone looked at me strangely like I was a leper, LOL. Like what the hell was I doing there? The food was a bit strange for me, being Halal I guess, and probably had no ham or bacon etc. Normally pork is favourite meat of Thais. Once also stayed at the Grace Hotel (Soi 3). My Thai girlfriend did not seem to like it and I had no special love for it or the location.
Soi Thonglor is probably known as the Japanese area but I have not stayed there. I have stayed at Hopeland Serviced apartments which seemed very Japanese oriented. No problems though. I don't believe I suffered any discrimination, that I can recall.
How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
This guy is a sheep looking for wolves. LOL. It would be much easier to just give the Thai girl half of everything he has. This would save time. Also it would keep her Thai boyfriend or real husband living good.

The same is the case in Indonesia, Cambodia and most of Southeast asia. Most of them were either Hindu or Buddhist dominated countries.
Indonesia as usual was forced to convert into Islam. I am pretty sure Europe will be seeing this phenomenon in like 15-20 years due to all immigration from Syria. The irony is thatall the rich Muslim (Arab) countries have not taken a single refugee but the other countries are forced to.
When you have time go through this link, totally different subject though.
So I'm going to BKK for my third time soon.
My dream body type, which I've yet to find in BKK, is someone with a huge bubble butt.
(. . .)
Have I been looking in the wrong places? Point a brother in the right direction, please? Are there any ladies matching that description in Bangkok?
Indeed it is quite rare in Thailand or South East Asia in general, but Stickman showed a nice collection of Asian ass some months ago: http://www.stickboybangkok.com/girls/another-44-photos-of-amazing-asian-ass/.
How easy is it to find a wife in Thailand? Is it as easy as it is in the Philippines?
It's been said that a Thai girl will do anything for money, and that a PH girl will do anything for a visa. It's very easy to get a wife in the PI for this very reason.
Having said that, PH girls do, indeed, tend to enjoy being wives and mothers. I'm no PI expert, but I know a lot of them here and this appears to be the case in most of my acquaintances. However, I don't think any of my acquaintances have worked in a bar.
The vast majority of Thai ladies I know really don't want to leave Thailand. For this reason, it's not, IMHO, as "easy" to find a wife in Thailand. I'm not saying it's difficult, it's just harder to find a girl who is wiling to drop everything in her life and run off to a foreign country. You may need to seriously consider relocating to Thailand if you want a good Thai wife.
Finding wife material in Thailand is much easier now than it used to be some years ago. It's easier to meet them, often with online service. The only caveat is that you do not want to marry a BG. Or any girl who will drop her drawers the first time she meets you (I mean actually lays eyes on you, not if you've carried on an on-line relationship for a number of weeks). Or will accept your money in exchange for sex, even if she doesn't work in a bar.
As TomSF said, if you aren't very careful, you'll be a sheep in search of wolves.
Oh, and one other thing. I run into farangs, from time to time, walking around with a short, dark, lass, sometimes very attractive. But the way the girl dresses, acts and carries herself screams Ex-Bar Girl. That whole persona, once it's acquired, is very difficult to lose. Don't be that guy.

And Mr. Crypton, please get back to bed. Try the other foot next time. No offense but......:
