There are numerous STD's and there is still some risk involved regardless of how many precautions you take. But a few medical tests should be done regularly for the STD's that are more common and remember HIV tests will give correct results 6 months after getting affected.

I have been to the s and m spa in defcol a couple of times and thought I should share a comparison between their 2 outstanding therapists. Miss be and miss are.

I do it annualy and that too even before I became a monger and started sleeping with "high risk" group. Nowadays you just can't be too careful even when it comes to the new girl you've been dating, who knows who she's slept with and more importantly who that guy used to sleep with. For all we know he went bareback with an escort in Bangkok and passed some infection to her etc and bam, you picked it up from her and passed it around to another girl and so on the cycle continues.
Majority of the std's are curable, if caught early, except HIV, hepatitis, herpes (but all these are manageable). I can't stress this enough but its highly important that you get tested for HIV annually and catch it early on, as only then would you be able to start medication and live a normal life span otherwise HIV would progress to AIDS and lead to all sorts of complications and reduce your longevity.
Anyone whos sexually active should get tested at least once in a year. Period.
Don't you get tested for BP, sugar, LFT, vitamins deficiencies and all sorts of things then why not this? I know many people would feel ashamed or embarrased or whatever to go in for such tests but why? Why do you care what the doctor, the guy at the reception, the guy who collects your blood etc thinks? They anyways don't matter in your life. At least that's what I think and that was the same thought that helped me go in for my first test years ago. Now I just strut in there like a boss and tell the guy / girl at the reception that I'm here for full std panel. And even they don't give a shit. No judgements, no weird response or reactions. Zilch.
Just go to any diagnostic centre / path lab and tell them what test you want, they don't even require a doctors prescription / consent.
Also some pointers:
-Every std has a 'window period' menaing if you test within that period, it'll show negative even when you have the disease. So its essential to look up various window periods of all std's. Usually its 100% effecient / correct to get tested after at least 3 months since your last sexual act.
-Some stds can be passed along through skin-to-skin genital contact like HPV and Hepatitis be (rare). Also there are other bacteria and yeast / fungi infections that can also be contracted even if you used a condom.
-Lastly, I'm appaled that many people still are not aware of this that HIV is no longer a death sentence like it used to be in the 80's and 90's. With the latest improvements and innovations in medicine, it has become a chronic manageable disease just like Type 1 Diabetes. People need to take a single pill daily for the rest of their lives and that's it, you live a normal life span (provided you catch it early). But this does not in any way mean we start going fucking bareback and fear no consequences as though you may live to see your great grandkids, there would be some serious side effects of the pill on the body. Its fairly obvious (and proven) that if you're taking that potent a pill that suppresses HIV for 20-30 years, it'll have some major effetcs on your liver, kidney, muscles, energy levels etc etc. So you see you might actually die from liver failure than from the disease itself! But that's a topic for some other day. Just google it if you want to find more information.
Make it a point to get tested at least once a year (after 3 months from your last sexual act).
