It is not the airlines mandating these masks, vaccinations or the Covid tests to fly on a plane or enter the USA. You shouldn't expect a flight attendant to be able to explain or justify the policy. It is the US government that is issuing these mandates and the current trend is for more mandates as opposed to less. As long as the current admin is in place expect more of the same.

At my job I average about $65 an hour five days a week. The company loves my work and would like to have me seven days a week. That same Company can offer me only $50 an hour on the weekends. In France the average salary is 2500 euros per month and girls cist between 40 and 100 euros for a short time. Reported to the Dominican republic the Short time should be around 900 to 1100 pesos. More than what 90% of their customers make. I don't see that has different as in DR. The real problem in sosua is that those girls have got a little smarter and understand that they have to quote in dollars instead of pesos since the USD gained almost 25% over the dominican peso in 2 years. The days of paying $1500 and walking in bar knowing we can afford any girl are over frankly LOL. The other problem is some guys are too stupid to negotiate. About 2 years ago most girls will go for 2000 pesos short time, which is about $2500 in todays peso. Now most girls will take 3000 pesos short time. Which is only about a 500 pesos or $9 increase.

Sosua has been grigofied, and being close to guys from New York doesn't help. Sosua isn't what it used to be, and I fear things will continue to get worse as long as rumba, merrengue, and classico can't operate as in the past.

However, As I said in the past the situation has nothing to do with the rumba, Classico, or any bar on the street. The inflated prices and low quality is because the average SW in the past did not have to worry about harassment from the police. It is the Constant harassment of the police that has caused the decline.

During the time when there is little or no harassment any chica can walk freely on the strip. Many of them did not plan on going inside the clubs. Also, psychologically the number 100 (as in dollars) sounds a lot better than 5600 (as in pesos). Even they think it is ridiculous for someone to give them 5600 pesos for a little time when they know it takes 2 weeks for everybody that is working a normal job to see that amount. For them that is akin to money growing on trees. So the small 100 number sounds more reasonable although it is the same amount.

It is the exact thing with SW in Tijuana. Go up and ask them how much and they will say $20. Say no I only have pesos and they will say 200 pesos, which is less than $10. But most mongers that go there are too lazy to exchange money and want to pay in dollars, so they rip themselves off.

The best comparison or contrast is to look at a casa like GBP in Santo Domingo where the locals go. It costs 1500 pesos for 1 hour. The girl keeps half of that. So if you are paying an independent SW 4 times as much as the 750 pesos per hour that she would get in a casa, it is not because that is how much things cost, as more it is that you are getting ripped off. Even SW in Santo Domingo only charge 1000 pesos versus the 4500 pesos those chicks in Sosua are asking for. Hell, I fucked a chick in the massage room of a hair salon in Santo Domingo for 500 pesos. THAT is how much things actually cost in DR!

But fair exchange is no robbery. If a guy did not think it was fair then he would do the same as SamSam and not pay that shit. The problem with Sosua is that most guys think it is fair compared to back home and are not considering how fair it is compared to the local market. That rocket has already left the launchpad though.

E you are an expat so your perspective is different from us in and out guys. We pay what is a price that make since to us. How much the average salary in DR is not a factor to us. There are rich guys in US who do pay 1500 for upscale working girls. Elliot Spitzer is an example. Sosua is a rare place in the DR where sex tourist are welcomed and catered to. If the price is not good for you move on. However thousand of guys visit and enjoy Sosua. I am one of them 3000 or 3500 is a bargain for the ease and quality. The difference is that I go around and meet normal people that have normal jobs to understand what is going on.
