1. I'm an open book. Any regular friends and family on my Facebook aren't going to be too surprised if someone points out I'm seeing hookers in Medellin. Most will ask to see some pictures.

2. I'd rather not switch back and forth between accounts.

I do have security set up a bit tighter than normal. It limits the exposure between the two groups of friends. I also don't make a habit of commenting every time a chica puts up a picture. I've set up a friend list that's just the Medellin chicas. Occasionally, if I want to post something just for chicas, I can make it so it's only visible for them.

A few red flags you mentioned: using an image from the Internet, using a city that does not match your IP address, and a newly created email address. I suggest you find a profile picture from some place other than the internet, maybe one of your teachers from your high school annual. Use a city near where you live. If your profile passes all other tests, the new email address will probably pass.

And with a large developed stable of FB performer's who have been vetted, I can see the "fucking on demand" notion being attainable having so many available, and on "speed dial".

Met up with another traveler and hit Centro in the evening, last Thursday. We both got stuck on the computer, past when I was hoping to check out Centro, but still decided to go. First stop was my new favorite bar in Medellíand, a blue collar fonda (Fonda why Hacienda de la Cascada), which is close to Veracruz and sin Ingles. Ended up chatting with a 60-something year old local (that looked like he was 80) about changes in recent decades, his barrio, his 8 children (one just 4 yo). Priceless cultural experience. Had some great laughs, but I wouldn't recommend this place, or street, for many. You'll need a decent grasp of Spanish, and a little bit of an adventurous side. Anyhow, ended up going to Conejitas, had a beer, and my friend wanted to hit New Life. It was his first time, and I think we were the last customers. Thus, it wasn't the normal selection of girls, but it was ok given the circumstances.

We went out for a meal and then hit Lleras. I have gone all-in on Beer Store being a great first stop in the late evening. There are always a few chicas there, almost all of whom are available, nice servers, and a great view. Yes, there are typically Gringos and punters, but it is what it is. IMO, it's a great spot to watch the tide roll in, get your bearings, and do some people watching. Well, the petite blonde from the night before was messaging me, and sure enough. She comes walking up to Beer Store, solo. Now, normally, this would annoy me and be a huge red flag. She's just so damn cute, though, and it's FREE. Fast forward, back from a great 4-day stay in Cartagena. Quick flight back to MDE, and wanted to relax. Went to the gym, then ordered Rappi and watched a terribly-long The Irishman. I didn't have the energy or patience for that movie, last night. A local non-pro was going to come over, but she wasn't feeling well and that was perfect for me. I needed to re-charge. Then. Petite blonde starts messaging. I tell her I'm just taking it easy and will be waking up early. She says that sounds good, and she can't believe I haven't invited her over. So, I cave, of course. I tell her no sexo. I would recommend going into your security settings, and linking it to an email / phone that you have access to, even if it is not your primary. Also, there is an authentication process where you can select 5 FB friends to be your life line. In the event of a lock-out, you send them a link, and they give you a code number back. However, you cannot do this via your primary FB account, I don't think. I believe that FB becomes aware of the link being sent, and cancels it. Thus, you need to have the cell phone numbers and request it via text / WhatsApp. I recommend carefully choosing your 5 lifelines, even considering adding a couple of your best buddies, which can possibly open pandora's box, as far as appearing on suggested friends, and the like. I too have had a new FB account blocked, and I think some other members correctly identified the possible problems with that.

I agree with Mr. E about the whole FB cita thing. You put yourself at the mercy of 1) a FB chica, and 2) Colombian time. It can eat up your whole day, if you have a girl cancel last minute and need to find a replacement. I was all over FB my first few trips, but now I have been tending to take my hunting and gathering offline.

For me, I know that I have time to kill in the evening. After 7 or 8 I won't be walking around El Centro and the El Centro strip club rooms are usually a turn off for me. After dinner is open time. I can fill it by hitting a few bars, checking out a movie, or just relaxing in my room. Or I can fill it doing one or more of the above with a Facebook girl.

If she's someone I know, I can just set a time and place and usually she'll be there. If she's someone new, I will tell her where I'll be if she wants to see me. Then I go on with my plans. Most show up reasonably close to the right time.

If I'm getting the run-around from her, then I'll cut her off and decide whether it's worth looking for a plan be.

If what you say is correct, it seems as though it can be a mine field to navigate thru, and having "life lines" to authenticate you when you get blocked. I guess for those technically challenged, like myself, is another reason I've never used it. I know it's a godsend for others, and justly so for those who have a large stable of girls and know how to manage the FB system "blindfolded" when problems arise like the one you mentioned.

However, what about a guy who only has FB friends that are Chicas, and has to use one of them as their "life lines" when they get blocked. Sounds like somewhat of a potential minefield as you mentioned, but I'm sure somebody has this all figured out.

Just send her a message while you are in Medellin saying you want to set up a cita, explain your expectations and name your price. Start at 150 k plus taxi one way. On the other hand if you do chat in advance than you are more likely to get a receptive response when you arrive, but still should not start chatting until about a week or two before you plan on arriving. Some of these chicas will try to hit you up for money before you have even met them, maybe they are seriously hard up for cash or maybe they are just scammers, I have a ready answer anytime they ask me to send money, if you think you have no use whatsoever for the chica, then you can just block her. Sometimes instead of hitting "block" I just hit "ignore messages" so they do not know that I blocked them but will never get a signal that I have seen their message. I keep them around because my strategy is to add as many chicas in Medellin area as possible because I want to find those hidden gems, and the more friends in my list the more likely I am to find them.

I've done that before with a select few chicas from MDE with no problems. I'm not a big user of Facebook anyway. If I can make certain communications only visible to the chicas, that should be sufficient.
