Sosua Reports

Well yesterday I made my way to Santiago but not before I needed to take care of cell phone issues. My wingman and I agreed to meet at his hotel in Santiago at 5:30pm. Since it takes 2 hours to get there on the bus I had time to kill and lo-and-behold, right as I entered the NG grounds there she was, that banging body looking up at me in the eating area with a big plate of spaghetti in front of her. What is the procedure for reserving a place at New Gardens? The reason why I ask is that unfortunatley when I emailed New Garden I have yet to get a response. Last time in Sosua I rented a villa and my sidekicked informed me we had to wire the deposit which he did. Is that the procedure for New Garden? Should I just call the place instead?

They take a while, but I eventually got a response. Once I noticed that I received an email response on a Saturday, sent an email back, and got a response within minutes. Did the same thing twice more for that same email session. This gives me the impression that they wait until the weekend to do most of their responding.

But I am not 100% sure what their method is...

They usually don't ask for a deposit since they are so busy.

There has been a power outage one or more days ago at NG. Wilfried has lost peoples emails sent within a certain time window.

I am leaving for Sosua on Thursday 02-05 and have never been before. I am wondering if places like Passions and Classico's have drink minimums or anything like that. I have no idea what to expect. I am not a big drinker and I hope I am not going to get thrown out for not ordering drinks. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Just back from Santiago yesterday. More of the same here at New Garden. Miss banging body was there waiting for me. Sorry about having to blank out the face of her below, but I want to return to this place without problems. If I were out on the road in a big city to hide in then that would be different.

At about 11:30 I went over to Passions. There were not any girls there that were lean/athletic enough for me. Passions website has the girl Sara<sp> who came over to talk. She is just as sexy in person as the pics on their website. I think she came over just to give me a look at her. You don't HAVE to buy anything, but it would be in seriously poor form to just sit there and ogle. Get a Coke and chill. Never been in Classico's, but I never saw any place in Sosua that had a drink minimum.

La Passion. Fuck, that place is awesome. The girls are out of this world, and it's the coolest, low-pressure atmosphere. Anybody who says they got hustled or screwed over there either is bullshitting, or was such an asshole to deserve that treatment.

Suggest you tip the girl on your first visit a couple of bucks. Then when you come back again, you'll be a rock star. Good investment. Go ahead, massage is only 1000 pesos.

A few months ago on my first trip to Dominican Republic, I took a bus day trip from Santo Domingo to Sosua to test the water for future mongering destination. And I was impressed with the variety. And for a non Spanish speaker, It was easy to communicate and find my way around. I sampled three girls. And I believe I could have done better on the "looks" department. I can't wait to return in two months. Meanwhile I will be in T. J next weekend testing the Adelita girls. In preparation for Dominican Republic

I take it that is the deal with the strip clubs or gentleman's clubs in the states, huh? I don't know because I never go to them.

You don't have to order a damn thing in Classico's. You just have to pay to get in, just like the night clubs function in the states.

I haven't been to La Passion (yet) but I am sure the same rule applies here as well. In fact, I read that most guys just go inside to see what's on the menu (the women, that is) and leave if they don't find anything that suits their fancy.

Basically the answer is no, and you can always order orange juice. Fruit juices are called "jugo natural" as opposed to "refrescos" (pronounced "refrecko" in the DR)which are sodas. Passion fruit juice "chinola" is sometimes available as an alternative to orange and is worth trying, or they have pineapple "pinya". You can also order a bottle of water "agua" anywhere, plus all the usual sodas. Most bars will also offer coffee, which, incidentally is much better than what you will get in the US. Take some Dominican coffee home for a souvenir, but get it at the grocery, not at the airport, or you will pay 3 times the price.

Also beware of ordering expensive drinks like whisky or tequila for chicas. If they order these drinks, most likely they are scam-minded. Tell them they can have cervesa or soda or juice.

In my opinion chicas who want expensive cocktails or who smoke cigarettes are mostly bad news, but no doubt there are exceptions to prove me wrong.
