I'm always amazed at how so many of them have a set price and they won't budge from it.

Always make sure you fully discuss the price and services before you take them back to your casa.

I met a really beautiful chica in Centro Havana one day. She was around 19 and stunning. Definitely a 9. 5 or 10.

I invited her back to my casa without discussing anything. We stripped off and had fun in the shower kissing etc.

A day or two later I meet her again in the same place along with a friend. There were quite a few chicas around there this evening and I had lots of offers.

The slender one started chatting with me again and asked me to take her. I told her I would only pay 25 CUC. This time she agreed and I took her back to my casa.

She was fairly attractive with a stunning body but she turned out to be one of the worst I ever had in bed. She did so much fake moaning etc that it really turned me off.

It was so bad that I couldn't finish but pretended I did. I gave her the 25 CUC to get rid of her plus I would never cheat anyone on a deal anyhow.

After she left I went back out and got a regular one I know who lives 3 minutes away from my casa. I paid her 15 CUC and had her regular fantastic service.

Paying more money will never guarantee good or better service. Some chicas are fantastic and some aren't. Just like some guys are nice and some aren't so nice.

There should be no problem at all getting 2 chicas for a couple of hours or more for 50 CUC. If I want 2 I just ask one that I like to bring along a friend.

Most chicas will do most things but some won't. That all depends on you and the chica.

Your best bet is to walk around town and pick up a regular girl. Someone that works in a store or is in school. Try to avoid the nightclubs because they're usually filled with hardcore pros that will bleed you dry.

Are cheap, you can have a coffe for 1 pesos, take the bus for 20 cents, may be get a pork sandwich for 10 cuban pesos. But Have you drink a beer in La habana, it cost you at leas 1 CUC.

If you need soap, shamoo, clothes, everithing cost you in CUCs. An Cuba is one of the most expensive countries I have seen for buying any goods, for example if you want a TV or a refrigerator.

So how much you pay in other places? May be 50 or 100, or more for a girl, why not respect this girls too and pay them fairly.

I'm not talking of giving a hundred, but if its a nice girl and treat you well maybe give a litte more.

c. i grew up in a country much more poor than cuba and we had to pay overly inflated prices for all of the above and our government did not guarantee us a job. what they did guarantee us was misery, secret death squads, midnight kidnappings, [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123][CodeWord123][/url], robbery and long lines at government stores for basic foodstuffs. while supplies last. at least fidel took care of his people.

d. as poor as we were, none of the women in my family spent the nights in discos and got fucked for money. there was also no alcohol in our house and none of us had multiple fancy outfits to wear. nor did we have nike, adidas and puma on our feet like the cubans do. i don't see any cuban walking around in rags.

e. we also didn't have a tv, we listened to the radio, read books, played cards, dominoes and board games and told each other stories at night. that was our entertainment and we were happy.

f. we never felt sorry for ourselves nor did we expect other people to feel sorry for us. and i don't want anyone reading this to feel sorry for the life my family and i lived. so obviously i don't feel sorry for the cubans because that would be an insult to them.

g. don't compare the prices for girls in other places to cuba. every country is different and has different circumstances and it has nothing to do with respect or lack thereof. when things are put into perspective you can clearly see that one month's salary for a few hours of fun and sex is very generous. especially considering that they f*k their cheating deadbeat boyfriends for free and all they get from that is heartache and pregnant.

h. all that being said, i don't feel sorry for any cuban chica selling herself. that's her choice, she chose to do that because she wants all the fancy material possessions. there are many many decent cuban women who do not prostitute themselves, they are content with what they have and they work hard for the little extras and they choose to live the same way my family and i did.

In santiago for example tehre is such place (open since some 3 years) it calls paradilla Fortaleza (real oak wood tables, bier from real steins, etc) its in Vista Alegre just behind La Maison, very veru close to Melia and Palaza de Ferreiro.

Unfortunatley most of the live music in Havana is performed during the evening hours.

Havana tends to be dead during the day and begins to come alive at 9. 30 pm.

If your into great jazz go to the Jazz Cafe located across the street from the Cohiba Hotel in Vedado.

I do not quite agree with you when you compare income Western countries with the price of cuban pussies. Because in our countries you have a currency and the price is the same for everyone. In Cuba there are two currencies and even if you are cuban, you have to pay a lot of imported products only in CUC.

The entrance to the cecilia when there is a good group (I e gente de zona) is 25 cuc you're Cuban or not. So you can not say you should only rely on their wages to pay.

I'm in France (2800 euros per month depending on your rank) and Imagine I have to pay 2800 euros to go clubbing! So it's not that simple!

For me the right price varies between 50 and 80 CUC (for us Europeans from 40 to 60 euros) , but I never pay for sex, I give money to help them para "luchar"

Gentlemen – first off I wanted thank everyone on the forum for putting out tons of great information on the Havana mongering scene, I definitely wouldn't have done the trip without this information and all of the trip reports that enticed me to book. This trip report is a bit stale, I went to Cuba from December 18 – 24, and stayed in Havana the whole time. I've been so tied up with work that I just haven't had a moment to write the report. The details are a bit hazey, but I'm sure the pictures will help make up for some lack of detail.

One thing that did put me off about Havana is the amount of hustle that you feel at all times everywhere. You feel like everyone is trying to get their piece and that you can't really connect with people. This feeling has worn off quite a bit since I've been back in the states, and does not come through much in my trip report. Be aware of this when you head down, the hustle is strong.

*SKIP DOWN TO DAY 1 IF YOU DON'T NEED INFO ON TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS*

Prior to going on my trip I bought Euros from my bank as you get smacked with a 10% tax in Cuba when you convert USD to CUC's. When I calculated the net savings, I ended up saving around 6. 7% by doing this.

*Housing Arrangements.

I found a website of casa particulares with good reviews at livingcuba. Com, where I ended up choosing Casa Melvis. It's a decent place in Old Havana, and very close to the museo revolucion, which was helpful in guiding the taxis back to the apartment late at night. The house has 2 good size bedrooms, a very large living / dining room and a 1 large and 1 small balcony. The lady that runs the place is very accommodating, and didn't have any issues with me bringing back girls, she just warned me to watch my stuff which I should have heeded more.

From the pictures, it looked like this may be one of the nicer houses, and I expected Old Havana to be a bit like Old Town Cartagena. While the apartment is very clean, big, and cheap ($60 / night for a 2 bedroom) , next time in Havana I will try to find the equivalent of a luxurious casa particular, probably in the Vedado area closer to the nightclubs.

*Flights / Getting to Havana.

I am a US citizen living in NYC and found that the best route to take to minimize flight time was NYC. Cancun. Havana on the way down, and then Havana. Mexico City. NYC on the way back. I was able to book my flights through nashtravel. Com, and they also include the Cuban Tourist Card / Visa in the price of the tickets. They tack on $50 transaction fee, but the convenience of using them and the piece of mind made it a necessary evil IMO.

The flight down to Cancun was as normal as possible, but once there the transfer to my Cubana flight was in another terminal, which ended up wasting time and had me sweating about missing my flight. Once in the right terminal, an airport employee mentioned to me and a few other Americans that we needed a visa to get into Cuba, and it must be payed in Mexican pesos which I could get from an ATM at the other end of the terminal, and to top it off he said the allotment of Visas for the day may be out. He tries to calm my nerves by saying there will be another flight to Havana in 2 days, and all I can think about is my whole trip going down the drain. As I'm panicking, I remember getting the tourist card from NashTravel, and that was the card he was referring to. Good for me, not good for the 3 other gringos in the same position as me and no tourist card, that $50 transaction fee is looking worth it now! I check into my cubana flight no problem, breeze through security and grab a Johnny rockets burger as I wait to board the flight. Once on the plane, I get to stretch out a good amount and it is on a fairly new Embraer or Airbus, I forget.

I arrived in Havana around 6:30 with minimal issues, only light questioning while going through customs and then they sent me on my way. The casa particular that I was staying with arranged for a taxi and one of the employees (Lily) to come with to pick me up, which calmed any nerves. I exchanged a lot of the Euros I brought with to CUC's and was on my way over to the casa particular with my tour guide Lily.

*Day 1 – Tuesday

Once I was settled into the apartment and did a bit of a grocery run to stock up on snacks and mixers, it was almost 9ish. I headed over to El Floridita to meet up with a fellow monger I met online. We grabbed a daiquiri to check the tourist box, and then headed over to La Maison to grab a bite and then check out the talent. Once there, it was a dead scene, very few people there and not much in terms of chicas from what we could see. We hung around there for dinner, which was a great seafood paella for $15CUC which was more than enough for 2. There was a tout / taxi driver there that was actually pretty nice and low pressure that brought by a couple girls, but I didn't want to settle just yet. They mentioned a club called 'Melia' close to the Hotel Melia Cohiba was a hot spot tonight, so we headed over there after dinner, which was already getting a bit late.

The Melia was a good looking crowd with good music you'the expect in a typical US club, but unfortunately it looked like the well-to-do Havana crowd that wasn't interested in being a hooker right in front of their friends. By the time we finished a couple drinks and decided to cut our losses, it was already 1AM-ish, and would probably be too late to hit one of the regular bars. Our taxi driver suggested to go by La Maison as he knew a couple girls there. I didn't like being shuttled back to the place, but didn't want to end up empty handed the first night.

Back outside of La Maison, I met one girl that looked good enough for the first night. I think her name was Yakelin (like Jacqueline) , but I don't remember exactly. I usually go for a thinner girl, but Yakelin was giving me a good vibe and we locked up the negotiations. I was very explicit about the services I was expecting to get, including BBBJ and she had no issue with doing that or talking about it. In most other countries I don't like to get into explicit details with the girls as it kills the mood a bit, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all in Cuba.

Back at my apartment we grabbed a few drinks, danced, and smoked a bit while making out like teenagers. We moved things over to the bedroom where she was quite a giver with the BBBJ. While she wasn't giving off any odor down below, I should have asked her to shower up a bit as it wasn't quite fresh enough for me to think about spending some time eating her out. I pounded a Gatorade to rehydrate after the workout and thought it was a decent start to the trip, but a little disappointed I didn't really see one of the chica clubs.

*Day 2 – Wednesday (Salon Rojo)

I woke up around 11AM and was a bit surprised to find the maid cleaned up the apartment and was waiting to cook me breakfast. I would have cleaned up the used condom if I knew she'the be cleaning in the morning. After breakfast at the apartment, I spent the day sightseeing with Lily from livingcuba. Com. Lily was my tour guide for regular tourist stuff $20CUC / day, but did not speak English. Havana has some wonderful sights, but you can find out more about that from other forums and guide books.

I grabbed a bite around 6PM at Dona Eutimia, which is rated the #1 restaurant in Havana by tripadvisor, and is close to the Cathedral. They have GREAT food at very reasonable prices, highly recommended. If you show up early in the evening or for lunch you do not need a reservation, if you come at another time, good luck getting a table!

I spent a bit of time back at the apartment relaxing before getting cleaned up and pregaming for the night. I headed over to Salon Rojo around 10PM with a good buzz going, and I believe cover that night was $10CUC. Once inside I quickly realized I was a bit early, there were maybe a handful of guys there and tables and tables filled with girls dressed to the nines all for your enjoyment, I felt like I died and went to heaven!

I've been to freelance bars in Shanghai and Cartagena, but I don't think any place outside Havana can compare with the sheer number of girls, overall quality of talent, and on the downside, the aggressive sell these girls put on. I was hounded constantly by girl after girl, some cute, some scary, but it was too early in the night to fix on a girl. You will be constantly harassed and my solution was just to buy one good looking girl a drink and spend time talking to her and feeling her out, it keeps the other girls away even if you know you won't go home with her. Beware, Salon Rojo can be an intimidating situation if you aren't comfortable with girls constantly approaching you. As I was eyeing the room, there were a few girls that stood out from the sea of pussy, and I knew I needed to take one of them home. I started to chat up this really hot blonde with an amazingly tight body, but she knew she was one of the best there and wouldn't back down from $150CUC for 2 rounds ($100CUC would only get me 1 round). I didn't like her vibe so I sent her on her way and decided to track down a sultry brunette I was eyeing from a distance all night, Dayana. He gave me a 1:1 exchange rate back to USD, much better than the currency xchange and all of the bills were legit.

The route back was very uneventful, Cuba does not stamp your passport at entry or exit. Mexico City did stamp my passport upon entry which made me a little worried as it would seem odd to have 2 entry stamps without a stamp from another country in between. It was a non-issue back in the states, I breezed through immigration and customs without a hitch, and I am part of the most targeted demographic out there. If you are worried about US immigration grilling you on the way back, you really don't have much to worry about.
