In regards to Colombianas, looks are higher up on that list but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what a Colombiana might feel is nice looking, might not be to others. I would move style before personality and in general I think you have it correct but you have left out one factor that throws your list out the window is the con factor; how well she can get herself on your payroll.

The girls in Leticia are, for the most part, normal and humble. I really digged the atmosphere of being in a place that is a world to itself. Some of the friendliest and most down-to-earth people in the country can be found down there. I actually went the other route you're planning on going. Towards Manaus. And eventually made my way back to MDE through Venezuela. I'm not sure if I would do the same journey, as we speak, considering how things between both countries are boiling over right now. In any case, I wish you the best of luck on your trip!

I was just speaking my mind and venting on this site. Perhaps it did not earn me any sympathy points but it sure as hell helped me in dealing with the issues that go with the territory of dealing with paisas. LOL! I knew that I would be drawing up a firestorm and LOW AND BEHOLD. But so what? Who cares what I think or have to say, right? To each their own!

The best part was that since my postings, things have been looking-up and changing for the better. I guess I was going through a rough spell as I was having a hard time with my long-term novia and some amiguitas I was trying to land on the side. The biggest lesson I have drawn, and if this can help anyone in this forum facing similar issues, is to relax, chillout, slow down and take it easy. Right now I'm not trippin' or stressin' over anything. I've done that all my life back in the States and I sure as hell do not pretend on doing the same over here. It just doesn't make any sense whatsoever at all! In focussing on working and channeling my energies (ZEN?) in a way to make things work to my advantage and favor, hopefully I will get to the MASTER level that PAISAPIMP finds himself in, and have the chicas come to me on their own and give it up for "free". LOL!

I stay in Envigado, which in many ways is very much like Poblado and Parque Lleras. I guess that's the price one pays for staying in these parts of town. However, I am not complaining as the south of Medellin has so much to offer.

I totally agree with your list but I would add the word STRONG to #2 as in "good and STRONG personality". Because as I had mentioned earlier, this is a very macho culture and women here have elements of macho in their personalities, character and behavior themselves. They have to. It's part of the evolution that goes along with the territory.

I'm not intending on sounding negative or anything, again I know that I am generalizing, but one does need to have something of a strong arm and an iron fist in dealing with these chicas or otherwise, they will not respect you. And they will walk all over you and take advantage of you (while they're at it). This probably applies to chicas not only in Medellin, but I would say in most of Latin America (as well as other parts of the world) in general.

That's all! Ofcourse Mexicanas do not compare with paisa girls. Albeit, some do come close to. I'm just being honest here and giving credit where credit is due. It wouldn't be fair for me not to recognize this much as I spent a good amount of time hunting in those lands and did come across some stunning looking and sweet chicas (a good number of times). However, I preferred a Paisa to other girls since my longterm novia is paisa and I even decided to lose my return flight to Sex Prison in order to remain in Medellin with my paisa girlfriend.

What I was trying to do when comparing MDE to LAX was to highlight how both cities are alluring and attracting to people and how both, to different standards and degrees, are "larger than life". That's all!

Ofcourse nothing else compares. And thanks to providence for such a thing. As I would not want MDE to be a city with all the BS Lost Angeles has to offer (knock on wood!).

You're right. Trashy Tijuana doesn't compare to MDE in any way, shape or form. What I was trying to say (in an ineffective way) was that if you lived in Southern California, then Tijuana was a good place for hooking-up with decent, pretty, and nice types of girls. Also for the bad types (which I liked in a good way LOL!). I moved from El Lay (not!) to MDE and that's why I was using both cities in some type of comparison. That's all! I love Colombia especially the Paisa area, paisas are romantic, prety and sweet, (many of them) very similar to Venezuelan girls, I LOVE THEM. But my favourite Country is Brasil from all. Is just my taste and the way I feel there. The people, their culture, their free spirit, and the gorgeous garotas, and that beautiful accent they have when trying to speak Spanish. It just melt my bones out. Next to them the Slavish girls really turn my Christmas tree on all the way. Smart feminine and self center Russian girls. They have the intellect and the look combined, Former Soviet Republics are my hot salsa for sure, but they need butt, hard to find a nice butt on those countries. The only bad point,
