I know little about Hong Kong. Could some more experienced people tell me the best areas to rent an apartment that is near nightlife, restaurants, malls and action in general, not just Pros.
Thanks!

All rumours. It was not open. Next time I'll go there after someone has confirmet that it is open. But Neptune II is rocking. Lots of talent and not too many punters.

Could I also suggest Fanling or Tung Chung?
Imagine my surprise yesterday when the flight and hotel I wanted was suddenly $400 less on expedia than ever before. Of course, my most recent masssive payment on my card had not posted, so I missed the boat as the price went back up by $500 this morning.
So I gave up on that and booked The Charterhouse. On the whole, the reviews are good for the place with the only negative always being the "rooms are small" or something similar. I watched a video on the hotel's website and it looks better than I expected.
My fingers are crossed. I know that the location is good for food and shopping.
I sincerely hope that the Charterhouse is not too close to the action as to be tempting for the LT women to leave in the middle of the night.
This fat, 42-year-old white guy will be back in Hong Kong beginning on 17 December.
The adventure continues!
Bouncers at Galaxy told me that Escape will open on the 27th of October (Tuesday).

I was in Yuen Long at night and saw a group of girls on the streets looking for customers. One was really gorgeous. I heard that negotiating prices is illegal and female police officers could be working undercover. What is the best way to approach?
Referring to a couple posts down, have a question about 37D.
I've been to it multiple times and have written about it (check previous).
However I'm confused about the first and second floor. the 1st Floor is reached by the elevator, no? The 2nd floor is technically the "3rd floor". Please clear it up for me, thanks.
Anyone been to Makati recently? Coming to HK soon and went there earlier in the year and the talent was fantastic. Had a great time with a sexy, sporty and very nasty Indo. Hope she is dancing again when I visit!

That is where most of the 37D reports come from. On up one more flight to the 2nd floor (3rd in USA), and you are at the other establishment (I haven't sampled them). Up one more flight of stairs and you are at the hotel where the girls from 1st floor (and maybe 2nd) take the customers. Hope this clears up things.
Anyone been to Makati recently?
Sunday's in Makati are a lot of fun. I find that the rest of the week, sadly, the place is pretty dead, save for the six or so Filippina hookers that are on call there. Shame that it can't pull in the weeknight crowd like Laguna as it is a better bar, IMO.

Word has it that we will be graced with 8,000 this coming weekend.
Cheers

Cheers
Crap. Not exactly the birthday present I was looking for.
How did you find out when the Navy was due in town?
I will be in Hong Kong from 12/16 to 01/07 or so and just dread having to deal with that.
Is it impossible for anyone else to score while the fleet is in town?
This civilian could probably outspend a sailor but I'm certainly a big fat load compared to America's finest fighting forces, LOL.
