I had a chance to visit Tokyo for a week. Just a few notes. Most of this has been covered before.There is a new system at NYNY Ueno. It's gaijin friendly but I think you need basic Japanese to negotiate. They don't want to deal with having someone expect FS and not get it. I've had nice conversations with the old shopmaster but the new guy is not as friendly. He definitely requires Japanese language to get the rules straight. The old guy said only asian and white gaijin are accepted, sorry no blacks (he was very apologetic about this). I don't know what the new guy's rules are but he took me in after I demonstrated Japanese language skill and replied to his questions. I think Gyaos has very good conversational Japanese skills so he may not even think about this issue so much.There are a lot of shops in Otsuka but I have not had much luck gaining entry into any of them, other than Trinity and that was awhile ago. NYNY and the sister shops seem to have two payment systems. I think it depends on the lady or whether or not they trust you to pay the lady. The bath fee is 4200 and sometimes they collect only the bath fee and you pay the lady the 5000 in the room, or you just pay 9200 at the front. Either way, the lady gets a receipt from the front counter when you head up the stairs that states the entry time and the amount on it. I think some prefer to collect the 5000 from the customer and some settle up with the house at the end of her shift.There is no negotiation for extra services. The fee is fixed at 5000 and tipping is not expected. This is the most professional and proper place I've ever been to in Japan. The only thing they offer (officially) is a bath and hand release. Everything else varies with the lady and what she wants to do to please you. What Homer says is exactly what I have experienced at NYNY. Sometimes pay the total up front, sometimes part to them and part directly to her. Great directions from the previous poster, was ushered in no problem by the tout who gave me a quick hand inspection. First time in a pink salon, thought I would have go judging by the reports. Since it was my return visit, I was already in when I stated when I was there, who I was with, etc. When I went the first time, I was asked many questions by a younger dude about the facts that no "sex" was allowed and that I should know that the girls were Korean, not Japanese. How did I hear about the place, etc.The girls speak Korean and Japanese. Their Japanese is broken somewhat, but would be considered fluent to someone else speaking Japanese.
