Some of the things I have experienced and observed are that the Vennnies are in a tight squeeze given the sheer numbers of them competing for clients, so with the exception of the really cute ones, the majority of them are not doing multiple guys per day, let alone one a day, and some of them as I call them are disgustingly fat and ugly,(Fuglies) as I refer to them, and "garish" as you mentioned.

Additionally, not all of the Vennies are mercenaries, but some of them think they are the best thing since "sliced bread", walking around strutting their hinnies, etc. The Colombians don't typically act like that at ground zero. Also, some of the Vennies think the "gringos" are stupid. And some of them are, but as an example, some of the Vennies have quoted me like 40 K for a rato and I typically just laugh at them and tell them that there are Colombians that will go for 20 K (which is true) and I ask them, why would somebody give you 40 K when they can get it for 20 K, and I typically get this weird grin, and okay, how much? And you are correct, the Vennies will typically will ask for 30 K.

Anyways, approximately three months ago there was another member of this board who was at ground zero and swore he couldn't see any Vennies working. Hard to believe as they are everywhere. Regardless of this, great observations / assumptions for a first time visitor to ground zero.

Christmas thru New Year's is not exactly the best time to be hunting for girls in Medellin (or for that matter in other Latin American Countries) remember they are heavily Catholic. Christmas and Easter are monumental.

Holidays for Latinos. Every girl you are fantasizing about will be at home with their family and likely completely inaccessible unless they already know you and want to see you. All the rest will be home drinking and partying with their families. It's what they do.

Remember! The girls are home with their family because their biggest meal ticket (Colombian men) are at home with their families. I can't say for sure but I'll guess the cases will be very slow on the days they are open at all. Your best bet will be Photoprepagos and or Milerotica. It sure would help if you had some conversational abilities in Spanish. I've noticed over time that Colombianas don't always have long attention spans and the time you need to cut and paste their messages into Google Translate, formulate your response and cut and paste it back is going to lose you your contacts with some frequency.

I wish you luck but if this doesn't meet your expectations don't call it quits on Colombia. Come back at a more opportunistic time and practice some Spanish on DuoLingo or some other program.

I can tell you that I and many mongers here pay 200 k. Perhaps the common factor is that I and the other mongers I know speak Spanish and refuse to overpay. Just look at how crowded the park is with girls looking for dates I have gone out with beautiful girls that go to Lleras looking for fools that want to overpay. I say fools because that is what she and others call them. Bobos. I took one girl out for dinner and she told me how one fool paid her 200 dollars. She told me she couldn't believe he agreed to it.

You can find the website by searching Google for Hotel M Medellin. During the day there are girls who hang out at the pool. At night there is a bar where the girls hang out. Latest rules are you can go to the bar at night even if you aren't a guest at the hotel, but there's a 50 k cover charge. It's roughly 1 mile from Parque Lleras.

The bars along Calle 33 and Calle 45 are more for locals, or people who speak Spanish. I wouldn't suggest them for a first time visitor with minimal Spanish.

If you can dance, hit the discos around Parque Lleras, or on Carrera 70 in Laureles. Don't get drunk. Don't let people buy you drinks. Keep an eye on your drink. And dance. If you're young, reasonably attractive and a good dancer, you'll find all the action you want and all you'll pay for is a few drinks and a taxi.

Though I also remember reading others saying girls in Parque Lleras would try to scam guys for big bucks, I never had a chica there quote me more than 200 k pesos. I was told by the chicas in the park that Gusto chicas would charge 200 USD. I was in Parque Lleras Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night and I always saw that least a few chicas that were very pretty and quite doable. I also saw a few that were not. Regardless though everyone in the park including some gringos and locals that I talked to there said that the market price for ST is 200 k pesos. I went inside Gusto twice and never once saw a 600 k peso chica that I could not match on FB for 150-200 K pesos. Could be that I was there on bad nights.

I got Tinder Gold before I even left the states because the Gold version allows you to put your location in any city you choose, then you can start swiping on chicas there. I met a few in Medellin before I arrived and hooked up with one of those when I was there. I am not in my thirties, and not therefore decent looking (I do have long game though) LOL. I think she probably has more customers than many Centro girls after you posted her Facebook page.

A common assumption is cheaper means more customers. That is simply not the case. I guess JB knows that and that is why he compared "most" fb girls to "gems" in Centro in his post. If the girls have so many customers, why many of them can't afford a phone, or unable to pay for data.

Another one is that because Centro girls are desperate, they will provide better service then FB girls or Centro girls are mercenaries like just posted. It really depends on girls. Many girls don't have experience before and that will affect service. I personally think the same girl in the same situation, FB girl will perform better because they have a choice to do it in a nicer environment than where they live, and are not doing it for survival.

I totally agree that I do act foolish from time to time, especially when it comes mongering. I'm perfectly aware that a street girl in Lleras costs about 150 k-200 k, and I have taken many of them home. I also had FB girls for 200 k who provided excellent service. However, please allow me to put things in perspective for you.

I will start with an example. I was just in Japan pitching a software product, for me our customers are total stupid fools for paying a software solution that is more than a decade old and full of bugs. As a professional software developer who have built multiple software startups, I would consider all our potential customers fools. However, are they really? Their core competency is not software, for them software is a means to the end, our customer's market cap is over 60 billion dollars and they generate 2 billion dollars in net profit every quarter, their success (or foolishness) is not measured by their choice of software. Same thing goes with picking girls in Gusto, my core competency is not speaking Spanish nor nickel-and-dime with an 18-21 year old knock out. For me, paying 200 dollars for a whole night is steal (I just paid 600 dollars for 1.5 hours in Japan with a 31 year old MILF). This is a price point that I'm more than happy to accept, and I get good services (all of them provide BBBJ with deep throat, and infinite DFK). I totally understand that if I choose to spend 3 years to learn Spanish and invest a huge amount of time to learn the inner workings of Prostitution in Melledin, then I will get a much better deal. Hi Mojo Bandit. I can only tell you and everyone that the times I have gone to Gustos I have seen FB girls that normally go for 200k. I talked to one as she was looking for tourists willing to pay out of line prices. The times I have been there the ratio of women had to be at least 8 to 1.
