I assume you will have baggage so you need to find a place to store that as I doubt a gogo would welcome suitcases.

Short time hotels at both Angeles or Subic have cheap rates for 3 and 6 hour blocks.

Wings Lounge in NAIA T3 also has surprisingly comfortable capsule rooms and includes a shower, snacks etc.

I'd look closer at your options otherwise you may be choosing a false economy.

The most economical use of his limited holiday time would be to use it rather than just waste it. Why not grab a girl in the way past to add some spice to either a early check-in or, if not available, the ST room.

He would effectively add a day to his holiday.

Plenty of girls available in AC at 3 or 4 am when he arrives. 1000 peso well spent.

I have checked in at 3, 4 am and only a fool would consider wandering around a red light district at that hour with papers and belongings. First thing of travelling is to get to the hotel in one piece but he never looked into that when booking, he probably bought a cheap red eye flight, hoping God would work the logistics out for him. Leave him to God and the ladyboy muggers.

But I'm old and can just barely handle this 3 1/2 hour flight let alone having stop-overs and changing planes / flights.

2nd. For me, First ting of traveling is. Having a plan and exploring options. Thus the query, people don't have to be assholes over a simple logistical travel question.

3rd. Thanks, MrEntertainment. Agree, but with early check-in many of the hotels I visited allow early check-in. Even as early as 9 am at no extra charge. Figured 2 am arrival, 3-4 am airport departure (coffee and light meal to kill time at the airport) . Thus my 5-6 hours to kill.

Lastly, The Plan. 2 am arrival, coffee and light meal at the airport (yes, I understand food selection might be limited), taxi to Hann casino and spend 5-6 hours playing poker / craps, taxi to hotel (hopefully, allowing early check-in around 9-10 am (Pacific Breeze Hotel)), get settled / get some sleep, wake-up for dinner (BTW, where is the best lumpia in Angeles?) and hit the bars and clubs.

*Note: Only have a carry-on and will either check the bags at the casino counter / reception area (my experience most casinos have a bag / personal belongs storage space) or just have it next to me at the poker table / craps table. Oh, if the hotel doesn't allow early check-in I've played poker for over 10 hours in one sitting and am sure I could kill an additional hour or two trying out one of Hann's restaurants.

I'm on that flight BKK to Clark later this year and it is the only direct flight gets in at 2 AM. Otherwise why'd need to travel like 20 hours and change plans. LOL.

I have friends that didn't grew up yet and still think they are 30-40 years younger and choose to sleep in dorms and hostels, some of them have more money than me.

I have only one piece of advice for those that qualify: memento mori, or in plain english, with an elaborate expanded explanation: do not become the richest one in the cemetery.

However, on the flip side I'm clear on which is worse. Become the richest one in the cemetery or become the person who can't afford a cemetery plot or almost as bad the person that leaves their family paying for the plot (though, some might believe that's there responsibility. Which it basically is. I just like handling my own death / funeral. Like I have my life).

Side Note: I'm from Hawaii and have already bought a Koa Urn for my remains with instructions that the urn be kept in the family home.

For myself (everyone's situation is different), my thinking and actions are out of habit and a bit out of principle. I can only pray to be the richest one in the cemetery (if daughter dumps me there), as what I have when I kick the bucket goes to my daughter (not really worried about that, as have ample life insurance coverage to fulfill my fatherly duties (to poor for an actual trust fund)).

Side Note: I live in a small village in Northern Thailand, so there's a decent chance I would be the richest one in the cemetery (again, if daughter dumps me there).

Adding the info below, so people who like to judge people without knowing their specific situation can get a basic picture of my financial situation.

I'm definitely not rich or poor, did 30 years in the US Military and get a retirement check every month. Plus Social Security.

I worked hard all my life, and my intention is to not take it all away with me, but reward my self with the spoils of what I earned, while I can still do it because I'm not immortal anymore, and "time is running out", and my most prized possession, that cannot be replaced is the time that I have left, and most important "quality time" while I'm still able bodied.
I don't know how much I have left, 1 day, 1 year, 20 years?
