Augustin Mendez, HK's Supervisor, assassinated Monday March 20
A very personable supervisor in HK, Augustin Mendez only worked a few days in the speak easy during the 2 years CoVid shut down since March 2020. I found him back to work in HK on Friday night March 18, standing dejectedly next to the DJ booth on the second floor. He looked aged and scared, different from a cool, easy-going gentleman before.
The article says he was driving to work in a yellow Nissan Xterra on Via Rapida. The assassin rode along on a motorbike, shot him twice through the glass. He was declared dead at the scene.
Looks like a professional hit. Don't know what he got himself into to be murdered.

MC Chui was also back to work in HK recently.
Drinking in a Moving Vehicle
If there are laws against drinking in a moving vehicle, why was the taxi driver not charged? He was the one driving and responsible for the vehicle. Why was he not charged?
There are no laws against drinking in moving vehicles in Baja California or California, unless driver is drinking, otherwise all those limos with fridge and alcohol would all be stopped, fined and impounded.
In California, the driver can be charged if an alcoholic beverage is "accessible to the driver. " So even if the driver is not drinking, but it is accessible to the driver, it is an open container violation. I know this from an Ex-friend with Benefits that has too much personal experience with this law.
The reason the limos and party busses get away with it is because there is a partition between the driver and the passengers (including the booze).
