Yes JAD, he remained a virgin until his wedding night; this somehow "released" him and he now eagerly awaits each trip to Jakarta. Amavida: please don't tell anybody else on the PI board, but I suspect you will find Jakarta much to your liking (much more so than Bali). And in less than 48 hours the biggest irritant (the horrific levels of cigarette smoke) will supposedly be removed by the beginning of the LONG OVERDUE smoking ban.

IF, and this is a BIG if given all I know about Indonesia and its addiction to tobacco and its spotty record on enforcing existing laws except where direct financial gain to the enforcers is involved--this actually occurs, I will resume going to the Big Durian more frequently (as I did in years long past when my tolerance for cigarette smoke was higher than it is now).
