My first trip I used to be sympathetic to all the kids that beg for money in sosua but once you give they will never stop to ask and will ruine your vacation. I may not give them anything but me coming to sosua helps the community.

I don't feel sorry for any woman offering her body for money espcially if that same woman can get work as a waitress. These girls spend hours at Bailes but you will never see them trying to learn english.

Being nice in Sosua is a good receipe for bad experience. Every guy going to sosua needs a playbook, what you will and will not allow. And be consitent and true to yourself. Like Coolie said they are sharks, and they want to get your money will less effort, most don't care about seeing you again. But the smart ones know that good customer service means repeating business. What annoys me the most is a girl that gives a bad performance and expects you to pick her another day.

That shows they have been no further than where hookers are. How is the rest of the country surviving if they are not hookers?

It is called laziness and having no foresight. All they can think is today. Today I want to get money. They have no regard for 5 minutes down the road.

I had a chick over last night here in Thailand. She said that she taught herself English. 3rd Trip to Sousa first time writing here we go.

I stayed at an Airbnb in my previous trips I stayed at grand Laguna but I wanted something walking distance to the strip so I chose this Airbnb on David Stern Street.

I got to Airbnb by flying into POP from Newark.

My experience has been approximately 10% bad service and 90% good, with 10% overall excellent. I can live with that.

How would you compare the over service in the Sosua with the other places you've been?

I was in Cali Colombia last week. Comparing the overall Chica performances in both cities is like comparing. Wendy's to Longhorn in terms of quality and service.

But I spent almost a month in Sosua without an encounter with one "insert derogatory term of your choice that I don't use" here. And my percentages are similar to yours. 10% Outstanding, 80% Excellent 10% poor. For Sosua and the Dominican Republic as a whole.

I live here. I have adapted to the culture. I don't like all of it. But I also know the negative Sosua culture that some have described here is not the norm for the entire culture or country. And I have no dog in the fight, but when I see entire country comparisons being made by people living in other countries because they had a bad experience in a puta pueblo in Republica Dominicana I cringe. And honestly I think it says more about the person making the comments than it does about individuals who live in Sosua. People who want things to be as they think need to look into the toilet after they use it and see what it fills up with. Flush and then talk about their wishes to that same toilet and see what happens.

I would like to add that I believe the law of attraction is in full effect and that you have to be very careful with what you are allowing your inner voice to tell you about the outside world. I look for sweethearts, and I tend to find them. But then again, I stay focused on the deal and not the girl. I make an effort to sense and feel chemistry between me and the girl (even if all she is looking for is money). And it has served me well. Even in Sosua.

My only problem with Sosua is the cost of pussy there and the distance I have to drive to get there. After I am there I have always had a great trip full of fun experiences of all types.

And it is one of the reasons why I like hearing from a diversity of people who are providing actual information. I was there for a month the month before you and I never stepped foot in Bailees. Although I did see a lot of hot ones there because it is on the route to several eating places I frequent. This is an excellent example of how we all can use different methods to accomplish our goals. And there is not real reason to ever listen to critics.

In Sosua I would rate as 25% bad and 75% good. Many of my good and all my excellent encounters in Sosua have been with Haitians. I have not done enough mongering in Santo Domingo to give a reliable rating, I have done GBP and Casa Teresa a few times and the ratings based on those experiences have been significantly better than Sosua. Worldwide my best rating goes to Brazil while my worst goes to India.
