I don't get out on the monger circut that much but I do read the ISG regularly. I think separating the forum was a bad idea as there was a lot of interesting and useful information on most of those threads for all ISG members who either visit or live in Thailand. Well said Jackson !!!The trouble is lots of people here are "showboating" - they want their post read by everyone, not just the person they are talking to and so provoke an argument in a busy thread - which will then get the replies on the same thread. Its disruptive behaviour and you have to look at who initiated the string of posts, not those who reply as replying is only normal. Other people are attempting to "market their products and services" and asking their "friends" to keep on mentioning their places.Why not put in a "3 strikes and your out for a month".1st off topic post you send them a gentle reminder, 2nd off topic they are asked to keep in line, 3rd off topic and they get a warning not to do it again or get a 1 month ban from posting.That might then keep people posting on the right threads. Anyone who deliberatly starts an argument or continues an argument in a different thread to where it originally started, or quotes from other threads on a new thread to start or conitnue an argument should get a straight weeks ban. If they do it again then a month ban.
