But Mr W. He is correct and also if there are locals in the pharmacy the pharmacist will say no also.

Try ones attached to the supermarkets. There are a few of those in Abu Dhabi. Or ones not attached to a hospital but near to them (ie they don't get much business as the hospital pharmacy does it all).

I wonder if there is a response to the recent check of pharmacies selling prescription only medication without prescription? Maybe this is one of the places that got burnt.

They pharmacist said need a prescription. He mentioned it was a recent decision by management when I asked why. Would not elaborate further.

Stay at the hotel for the weekend and it seems normal during Ramadan (except for the heat and pool not working, they gave passes for use of the pool at Meridien).

Book the room for 2 person and asked during check-in "can bring girlfriend?" The answer was "No problem, just come to the front desk. ".

Went to the Ally Pally on the ground floor, picked up a PRC with a name like Xiao Ping, but told me to call her bebe. Took her to the front desk, familiar routine, they made a copy of her I'd and asked me to sign and put down room number.

She was 6-7, seems nervous at first, but warm up as the session went on, overall an above average experience, but not exceptional. 500 AED plus 100 for tip.

Will try this place one more time because as I was leaving with Bebe, saw a pair of smoking hot asians walking in (at least 8), but I already made a deal for the night. Oh well, patience is really a virtue, even when mongering.

Would not elaborate further.[/QUOTE]The Bin Sidra in Carrefour won't serve you as very Arabic, need to find smaller ones and there are plenty of those in Abu Dhbai trust me. Don't go to pharmas in malls, go to ones in the side streets.

As Misha said if there has been a crackdown the larger ones will stop for a while but the smaller ones will be more helpful.

As I said try pharmas attached to food shops etc, there is one near Spinneys, another near Choitrams, some more near hospitals but not attached to the hospitals. These suffer some loss of business as don't get the hospital traffic and need more customers.

On my last visit I stocked up with some antibiotics I may need if I get sick on the road etc and no hassles.

The authorities had some inspections, noticed missing inventory records and closed more than 10 pharmacies for a few days. That raid worked. Antibiotics are probably formally not allowed either, however I think they are more relaxed re antibiotics.

Might be something is changing in Abu Dhabi as well?

On my way to the States I decided to do a long lay over in Abu Dhabi for some fun. Normally I'd do Emirates to Dubai but on the day I wanted flights were all full.

I asked for a bit of help on the fourm, aside from a couple of replies telling me I had it wrong none of them pointed out what I needed to go for what I wanted. So I used process of elimination and decided that for cis girls the best place would be insomnia and 49 ers. 49 ers being a pub as opposed to a club I decided that that was the best option. I booked myself for the night at al diar al dana hotel. Landed at midnight a bit later than scheduled, and had to run around looking for my transit visa, everyone was sending me to a different booth. Finally got out of the airport and after a half hour drive got to the hotel at 1 am. Checked in, dropped my hand baggage in the room freshend up and straight to the bar on the top floor. Entry is free for hotel guests so saved some money there. First impression. Horrible, the girls at panorama in Dubai look better. Got a beer and walked around a bit. Things improved a bit, but not a whole lot. Had a couple of more beers scoping the situation. There were some very scary stanis, some equally scary cis and Chinese. A couple not bad Africans but I'm not into them very much. I gathered there were maybe two 8's in the place about four 7's and the rest I would grade. Saw a very cute stani but she seemed otherwise engaged. Finally settled on this shy looking cis. Approached and deal was done at 800 for the whole night, its 2. 30 not. Down to the reception he takes the documents, to the room and the rest is history. Not enough dfk in my opinion, but 2 shot of decent fun none the less. She says she is hungry at about 6 and I send her off and head for the airport.

Hindsight I would probably make the 1 hr 15 min trek to Dubai if I was in that position again, or just book emirates.

So, needless to say, I steer clear of the bar scene these days. I'm not trying to say I'm racist, but I don't like PRCs or Africans much anyway. If I were to go for a WG, I'd go for a Russian / Ukrainian / Iranian or Arab (I know, small pickings). However, given my shortfalls, it doesn't appear that this is feasible. At least not for an affordable price. Plus. I would need to get a hotel room, because my apartment security is like Fort Knox and a lot of my work colleagues live in the same building as me.

What this means is that I've pretty much resolved myself to the AMP scene. It's considerably cheaper, the outcome is generally the same, and if I choose properly I also get a good massage out of it. I've explored a number of the places on this board. Sometimes my experiences are similar and sometimes they are different. For example, everyone raves about how great the 19th floor spa is. I went there once and there was not even a hint of any extras. Will not repeat. There are some other places. Like the place near Corniche Hospital. Where the experience is hit or miss. First time there, no extras. Second time, great extras. Third and fourth, no dice. Will not repeat.

I've tried to find the place with the name of a mythical bird, but google maps and their own website are not very helpful. Plus, parking in that area is a nightmare. Given the lack of looks and good massage skills, perhaps it's for the best.

For me, the two most reliable spots are near the Souk Central Market. One is on Airport Rd. Between Hamdan and Khalifa (on the right, going north toward the Corniche). This one is 200 AED and extras really depend on the masseuse (Thais are generally a go and Flips not). The other is the popular one behind the Du building. This was hard for me to find at first because the directions on this website are often convoluted. What the hell does "opposite" mean? To me, it means across the street. Well, the place behind Du is not across the street. It is in the block of buildings behind Du and the Souk. If you walk along that main Road (forgot the name. It's the one that connects hamdan and khalifa one block east of Airport Rd) you will see the name and phone number of the building near the Liwa Exchange.

So, why this place? Well, it's cheap. Walk-in price is 140 AED. I've had five massages there and all were excellent. Even if there were no extras, it would be worth it. The facility is a bit run down, but the staff is good. No lookers there, but all good at massage and they most certainly offer extras. Now, HJ is +300 AED. I know some here balk at that, but hear me out. The net cost to you is 440 AED. Many of these other places are 225/250 + 200 for extras. So the price works out the same in the end. The other thing is that they don't rush. They take their time. I am a quick one, and they recognize that so they back off.

Again, no real lookers, a bit run down, but a damn good massage and very good technique. I don't think other extras are available, though the friend of my preferred masseuse texted me after I left last time. It was a lot of unintelligible Engrish, but I think the lady was asking me if I wanted a 'date. '.

But to be honest for me at least Cialis doesn't do shit, as in I never felt any "extra" performance, same with Viagra. Maybe because I don't really need them but I take them for the recreation factor, The only thing worked for me was Levitra, that stuff is the real deal you can literally fuck all night non-stop but couldn't find it here.

I've returned after a long biz trip thanks to my employer, came back and I'm like hey maybe a new place popped up somewhere! But to my disappointment (and expectation) there is nothing new, Welcome to Abu Dhabi.

This was about a couple years back.
