First time poster, lurker for a couple of weeks. I have a question for the Phuket expats or regulars, what are the possibilities in terms of finding a secluded beach for some action under the starry nights, its on my bucket list. I'll be in Phuket area for 11 days in April / June next year and I'm hoping if somebody who has "been there done that" to provide some insight. I don't mind finding a hotel on one of islands and or surrounding areas. Any info is much appreciated.

Landed at HKT on the 7th October around 12 noon and was greeted by the haze. Took a taxi from the terminal and headed to my hotel in Patong.
Journey was around 1 hour or so, didn't really keep track of time as I was dozing off.
Decided to stay at the see&and hotel due to its close proximity to Soi Bangla and girl friendly. (About 50 m?
Checked in and unpacked a bit before heading out for some food and errands.
Headed over to Soi Bangla at 10 pm, and went to the agogo clubs to check things out. Among them, Suzy Wong still has the best line up IMO.
In the end, barfined a cute girl with an amazing body. The damage was 1000 BF + 5000 LT, at the start was feeling that I am going to regret this as the price was quite high but in the end it was well worth it as we had chemistry and she stayed with me until noon the next day.

3. Not many places to look for some action in the day other than the soapy (Christin's) and massage parlors.

I would probably be too concerned about mosquitoes and thugs to be able to enjoy myself.
However the following has happened to me:
I met a nice girl in a regular massage parlor in Kata Beach. We had decent chemistry, so she came with me for a few days. The beach north of Nai Yang is nearly empty, some small resorts with long distances inbetween and the beach is all the way up to Sarasin bridge so there must be lots of places to fulfill your dream. Very nice beach in daylight also.

Does anyone have an update on the haze or smog situation in Phuket especially Patong / Karon area? There was a haze / smog reported caused by the fires in Indonesia at the beginning of October and just wondering if it has cleared up? Planning a trip soon so was curious.

Hi guys,
Just want to remind you to avoid "The one" massage in Phuket town. This one is near Katherine's and Angel massage, paid a visit to it couple of days ago, 2200 BHT for FS, the girl names "Elva" provided a so-so service, and she refused me first time when I required to change to doggy style. So really doubt their management, maybe all girls have some sort of attitude problem.
Also checked out angel and Katherine, Katherine has about 5-8 girls and Angel about 20, hadn't got a chance to try them out. Hope it helps you.

Ice.[/QUOTE]Patong beach. I have been on the beach the last 3 mornings. On Sunday the haze was definitely visible across the ocean but it hasn't been as noticeable the last 2 days. I spoke with a guy who has been here for a month or 2 who said it is because of the burning in Indonesia. It has been overcast & raining off & on for 2 or 3 days so I believe that affects just how visible the haze can be. I don't smell anything nor has it affected my breathing.
I read Suzy Wongs was the best & I had decided last night would be for exploration only. To preface my experience, I am 69, retired, not bad looking or rich & visiting for 2-3 weeks. I visited Devil's Playground first but wanted to share about SWs girls first. (Devil's Playground to folow).
SWs isn't a large bar at all with a center stage & 4-5 girls dancing while rotating 1 girl each song. Music was loud but doable, stools around the bar & tall tables & chairs toward the outside. I decided to check ouy Suzy Wongs earlier last night so I got there around 8:30. There were only 6-7 guys there with maybe 10 dancers. Much better odds. I am 60 but most think I am 55, and slender, decent enough looking I guess and quite respectful of people, but while the girls would flock to young guys that entered after I did, I was left alone. As soon as I finished my coke I left, went next door and had no problem. In fact, the only time I noticed any sort of problem that might have had to do with age was at SWs in Phuket.
To keep this slightly in perspective, my age discrimination is much worse, as I won't BF anyone that looks older than 25 to 30!
