After visiting (and partaking) in 31 African countries (where I am this moment) the variety is full spectrum. Anyway, have taken Air Mada's Tana-Bangkok flight three times within the last year (was very cheap at around $1200 usd round trip) it came as sad news the route is being discontinued- as of 4 January. Can confirm solo Malagasy girls had been on that flight (although most passengers were Chinese continuing onward to Guangzhou). With no direct routes now, a lot less likely more will be showing up in Thailand.

Now I will admit I made some rookie mistakes that I shouldn't have made. Guess I am out of practice. Decided to revisit patpong as I hadn't been there since my first trip to Bangkok. Started with nice german dinner at GS. The host is really great as has been reported and the beer selection extensive. From there moved onto electric blue. Nice place and drinks were 2 for 1 so on a Monday night at 9 two vodka redbulls for 155 baht was good deal. Talent pool was really week though so moved on as wanted to hit at least three spots that I hadn't been to before. The strip looked dead from walking by outside so skipped it and went to Bada Bing. Soon as I sat down I realized I had been there the very first time I was ever in Bangkok 4 years ago. Much improved talent pool with good selection and 2 shifts. Now here is where I went wrong, saw a girl I thought was cute and should have jumped on her. Instead let two cuties rope me in for a talk and drinks which was fine as they were playful and it was relaxing. Stayed for a while then wanted to check out black pagoda. It certainly is in interesting location above the road. It is small though so the girls get you pretty easy. Was on lookout for the cutie that Stick had photographed a couple month back there but didn't see her. Stuck around for a while and had a drink with a cutie who was quite flirtatious had good body, but face wise just didn't do it for me. Eventually the girl I was looking for showed up and looked miserable. Had a patch on side of her mouth, guessing from some type of dental work. She looked in real pain, why she was working I have no idea. She couldn't even force a smile if she tried. So I bailed and went back to Bada Bing. Was working on zeroing in on girl #1 when a hottie with blonde hair and long legs stopped by. She was a solid 8, maybe 8. 5 but body was a 9. Now the fact she wasn't barfined yet and was in different outfit should have raised my radar. Now I don't like the concept any more than rest of us, especially since it's not disclosed upfront. But ok, first night, she was a real hottie who could dance and those hips where burned into my mind at this point. Asked about barfine, 1800!, but wait that's not the kicker. ST 2 hours she wants 7000. Hahahah, now this is just hilarious. 8800 baht plus at least 2 drinks. You could get top of the line model at the sopies whith probably better service. Clearly her time in singapore had skewed her expectations. 8800 baht on a Monday not quite even in high season with half empty bar, guess that's thai economic policy for you. And of course once I had figured this all out choice #1 was taken by some. So many refresher lessons here. At this point was exhausted from travel and having no progress decided to get good nights rest and back to T21. Probably should have done a walk through cowboy, but didn't want to take chance and run into either GF1 or GF2 planned for the rest of the trip. Got to get back into the grove.

BTW, the cab drivers are getting even worse about not wanting to use meters. Had my first driver from the airport pickup start negotiating after already in the car. Never had this problem before. And same thing when I needed cab back from patpong to asoke. They really need to crack down on that crap. Tourism has taken enough of a hit already to start things like that really turns people off.

Gogos night 2/2.

I only had 2 nights free where I didn't have a regular part time thai GF scheduled so decided to hit Nana as I hadn't been there in at least 2 years as cowboy is my preferred destination. After having a beer with my local tailor headed to bullys for a burger before heading in. Crossing soi 4 I am passed by 3 stunners so immediately pull a you turn and follow to see where they are working and they head into straps on the corner of the 2nd floor. Headed back to get some food. Their burgers are decent and I like the location plus has nostalgic value for me as was once of the first places I found on my own worth repeating. After a quick bite head back to Nana and into the new Bangkok Bunnies. The bar is huge with 2 big stages and many smaller ones. On a busy Saturday night in high season place is going to be insane. As this was a Tuesday crowd was pretty mild. Plenty of girls though. Decent talent. Nothing above a 7 though. Ended up talking with semi tall girl with huge back tattoo which was sort of a kinkie turn on. Marked her down for backup but wanted to check out those hotties from before at straps. Did a quick walk around nana and poked my head in a few places but nothing impressed. Rainbow 4 was closed? (since read about the bust and rebranding, must have been there right after) Jailbirdz looked cool but very few girls. So headed to straps. Small bar with the most number of hotties in single small location I had ever seen. Be forewarned though, not sure there was a real nose in the whole place and plenty of sillies, but the bodies to make them sing. Bar is tiny so they try to push girls to sit with you right away and its assumed that you buy her a drink. So after resisting for a while tagged #65 who had real cans at least and she came over and got her drink. Barely any conversation and mamason is trying to push a 600 bht barfine and 3000ST on me. I said maybe later tried to talk to girl and didn't get far. Only ST in room upstairs no LT and no negotiation. I remark that I really don't like ST and she gets pissy says maybe you should talk to other girl and walks off only half her drink consumed. Now I wasn't mean to pushy or anything, was really just testing the waters so there is no way this is on me. From watching other interactions seems to be the same way for most of the girls in this place. It's walk in buy 2 drinks, choose go upstairs so girl can get back downstairs as soon as possible. So try at your own peril. Again on a not busy Tuesday night don't see how that makes any sense. Back to bunnies and my girl zeroes in like cruise missile when I walk in. Have a drink and talk some more and barfine her out of long time. Walk to other side of suk to grab cab back to GCP T21 and again just bunch of asshole cab drivers. The meter for for that. 75 km stretch is maybe 40 BHT. Offered 50 but didn't matter, none would take less than 100 and none would use the meter. After 3 cabs I was just getting pissed. Weather wasn't bad and she had walkable shoes on so we walked it. Nothing particularly great in bedroom and when we go to change positions whole bunch of blood. She freaks out and runs to bathroom. Is just her monthly, she isn't in pain but really embarrassed. Try to ease her concerns but she is very apologetic and freaked out. She bails, don't think she was expecting anything, certainly didn't ask, so I gave her a little even though I didn't finish. She was sweet and I had enjoyed our time together and the fact she didn't complain about walking after the taxis pissed me off.

So in recap two nights at Bangkok gogos and two busts, or should I say not busts! Got to say this was pretty disappointing. I had a decent time and all but there was an end game here that didn't happen. Will post separate report on my snow white experience in massage thread which was the 100% opposite of the gogos.

Followup: I wrote this while in Bangkok but never got it posted. Since then I was reading twitter and saw stickboy's review one day, Review: Straps. Ladybody bar. Haha. I hope some of you enjoyed my earlier part about noses and sillies, guess that should have been a sign. Now I don't think the bar was 100% ladyboys as I hope I would have noticed. But I honestly have no idea. I am taking it as a good sign that I struck out, maybe I wasn't unlucky as I thought.

[/QUOTE]For this I never pick up a taxi at the airport in the last 4 years, if I need to go in Pattaya I booking a taxi in advance on internet and if I need to go in Nana I take the BTS.

It's my first time with this foolishness from the aiport pickup, since they have to register when the pull in my experience had been they avoid this crap, but first time for everything. If I hadn't been dragging a full bag of scuba gear which made my total luggage weight around 40 kg I take the train as well. I do miss the express though, was just easier with luggage. Doesn't seem like they are going to return that to service as it's been a year since I saw it open. In the end I paid about the same as I would have on the meter with tip since I didn't tip this time so a wash there, but still annoying.

What's the mongering scene like in the low season, May. August? I'm planning a trip back to Bangkok / Pattaya in the next few months and have only been in the high season, November-January. Will the pick of ladies be better as there is less guys and tourists, and I would assume pussy prices stay the same for LT and ST at gogo bars, with maybe a little more bargaining power for the buyer. Any help would be great, thanks!

It is a shame you didn't have a real good Go Go experience, but I am glad you still enjoyed yourself in BKK anyway. I haven't read your Snow White reports yet.

1st night comments:

It is too bad about your first night at Bada Bing where a small error cost you the game. Your mistake was that you did not take the girl you initially liked when she was free to go with you especially since your time in BKK was very short and did not allow for any do overs. This is not usually a critical factor for me because I stay in BKK for 3 or 4 weeks per visit so there is nearly always time for me to get a girl I want. Still, I have learned the hard way that a bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush.

The two tiered pricing for the Bada Bing Coyotes is a bad trend which began a few years ago in Pattaya at What's Up. My favorite bar I hate to love. The barfine at What's Up is 2000 bt before midnight and 1000 bt after, but the girls ask about the same money as the other top Pattaya Go Go's so I tolerate their system because their girls are really HOT. The Bada Bing Coyote barfine and service charge, on the other hand, is set prohibitively high because management absolutely does not want their Coyote girls to leave the bar. Period. I think the Go Go is still all right because it has a lot of talent and their regular girls are above average compared to most other Go Go's (excluding CH, Baccara, and RB4) and priced in the normal range. So Bada Bing is still worth checking out IMHO, just don't buy drinks for the Coyotes.

2nd night comments:

What suspense reading your 2nd post. Ha Ha. While I was reading your report I thought, "Oh Buddha" this guy is about to make the big mistake and I wished I could have warned you about Straps, but then I see that you smelled something wasn't quite right and let the "girl" walk away. Good move! Then subsequently you discovered the issue independently that Straps is a Post-Op Lady Boy Bar with only a couple of natural born girls on the premises. Perhaps that is why your "Gal" was so into short time. Apparently the MO with Post-Ops is to lasso the customer for a ST, do the deed, take his money, and leave quickly if he catches on and objects or negotiate for longer time if he likes it and wants more. Yeah it was a lucky escape on your part. The moral of the story is if something doesn't smell right, walk, cause it ain't right.

Rather than try another place at Nana, I decided a venue change would put me in the mood better and took one of the last BTS trains to Asok. As I was walking towards Soi Cowboy, I noticed there were quite a few cute chicks in the "bars" lined up on the sidewalk. Question: Has anyone had experience with this crowd of providers? Or is it something to be avoided altogether?

I went to Baccara because I've had good luck in the Pattaya one in the past. I was seated for 1/3 of a beer when some cute 24 year old chick makes eye contact with me from across the room. Maybe she was testing my eyesight, as many men my age are short-sighted due to excess nerdiness. Anyway, I passed, and winked at her to come have a lady drink with me. Later she went dancing on the stage, and I told her if she danced well for me I would barfine her. She did and I did.

Barfine was 600 Baht. Then Mamasan came over saying there was a 2 lady drinks minimum. I said it was too much and made the gesture of leaving. They stopped me and magically found that one lady drink was quite enough. How do you guys deal with that?

We went to a short-time hotel for 350 Baht. 2 toothbrushes and 1 toothpaste cost me 60 Baht, but it was well spent as I got some kissing out of it. Girl asked for 2500 Baht short time. I cut a 50 MG in half and then when the gal goes out to get her accouterments at the oily I drop it under my tongue and let it dissolve. Hits you far faster this way. By the time round one is over I am starting to really feel the effect and am ready for round 2 after a short massage interlude. For some reason I have not used V very much as of late. Several times, I have been to venues like Nana plaza or Soi cowboy and spend some time sitting in the bars looking for a hottie I would like to BF and take back to my room, sometimes overlooking a girl not so hot but acceptable in hope of finding the exact one in my imagination or a better one. Which turned out that I missed a good chance and ended up getting back empty handed. Though I have successfully managed to get few good ones from bars or FL but there were times when I was disappointed somehow, may be in terms of quality or service or the body (pregnancy marks). What I have eventually found out, at least in my case that if you have limited time and you want to absolutely make sure you get the service and no time wasted, head to the oilies or the sopies (in case you prefer it more than oilies).

Normally when I have longer stays in Bkk (at least a week) I will experiment with new venues, or try at the go-go or other bar areas. Like having a oilie session per day and evening at a new venue, or a sopie and a new venue, a BJ bar and a new venue etc. However if I am on a short stay (3 days or less), I normally do not take chances to waste time and end us disappointed. I will keep a BJ bar visit earlier in the day, with a good genuine massage then in the evening head to a oilie, next day may be have a spa, then in the evening a FL for ST, then some drinks at the bar, third day a visit to a soapie. Oh and its mandatory for me to give Rin a visit for her legendary hands LOL.

Most important for me is time when I am in BKK on a short visit so I try to avoid unnecessary travel, try to stay as near as possible to the action area, plan some action schedule a day ahead (not to early), and some backup in case it doesn't work. I will also try to target myself to the most certain venues like I said earlier. Try to take good sleep at night, avoid the ladies to stay over night unless its exceptional service or looks, eat plenty of good food, fruits and liquid. Stay soft on alcohol and have limited quantities per day.

Anyway that's my thought and the way I do, others may do it their way and surely there are others who do it better.

The only difference are the hotel prices it seems and of course more tourists. But even at the lowest of the low season there is still so much choice, your only trouble will be to make a good choice of what will be on offer.

I usually do that when staying with the GF as she is apt to want sex at any odd moment of the day or night and then Vitamin V is far less covenient as it works only about 4 hours at the max for me.

I did notice that when on cialis I take a longer time to cum. Of course the GF finds this a quite happy "side effect". She stayed with me for over 12 hours. Paid her 2500 bath. I think I also paid 400 to the mobile bar as "barfine" but can not remember exactly. She was not special in bed. In fact a bit boring. This is the only time I've done this but I see some cuties around now and then. I would like to try my luck next time in Bangkok.

Some of those alcocart bars also are interspersed with LB's. Caveat emptor!
