I was reading post from the Colombia thread. Recently there has been a lot of talk that it is the placed to go. Water wetter everything better. What was not mentioned is the scammers are more dangerous. One of our brethren was drugged and died. The drugging in becoming a frequent thing many of the cities.
I was in Cartagena almost 2 months ago and I didn't feel safe at night like I do when in Sosua.
There's a lot more street hustlers, drugs and corrupt cops in Colombia.

Thats a better way to minimize a guys losses. Typical behavior in the DR ( among the locals ) is they don't respect getting shit for free from people they consider rich. Going off his story my third year of college I met this bad chick from Guam that worked at Taco Bell whose dad was very strict retired Army. Another really happened incident was when I was at college; I had got back to my room and saw an acquaintance banging a girl on my bed; he begged me not to make a scene.
