I can not deny that being generous can have its benefits and would work as a "carrot". But I see many more downsides and scant few if any upsides in giving a small portion of it as an after the fact "tip" on the way out.

My point was that the stars and planets would have to be aligned just so for one girl in a bar to convince another girl in the same bar that she shouldn't bother accepting a barfine offer from one of her previous customers because he didn't give her a suitable undiscussed surprise "tip" on her way out the door. For the sake of discussion, though, let's say a girl rocks your world during a Short Time so you decide you will give her more than the discussed / negotiated baht amount, in this example let's say 2,500 baht, in the form of an undiscussed surprise "tip" of 500 baht as she is walking out the door. Then you return to that same bar a week later, she jumps all over you, presumably because this "carrot" idea worked really well, and you take her out a second time. If this time she doesn't do nearly as much for you as the first time, are you still her favorite 3,000 baht customer of the night or have you just become her new 2,500 baht customer of the night?

It is on the opposite side of the street from Climax Club. Right next door to the Aussie Pub / restaurant place (where the waitresses wear the yellow / green uniforms). They even have a little velvet rope and podium set up outside in the evening. Kind of funny as there's really no crowd waiting to get in. 555.

I had all of the same concerns you raise and drew the same conclusions. I didn't stay long because on top of everything else you mention, the place was so over crowded and packed to the gills that you could hardly move in there. God forbid there ever be a fire in that place. We'll turn on the TV one morning and learn that lots of people lost their lives! Do they even have fire marshal regulations with enforcement like we have here in the USA? Sometimes you can even see posted signs indicating the maximum occupancy allowed for a place of business, and the bouncers outside often use hand held click counters to keep track of how many patrons have been admitted. Occasionally an official may even show up to make sure that a business is following the occupancy limits.
