Yes, I lived in Peru for two years (Cusco and Lima) and the noise level everywhere is part of daily life though discos and clubs are the worst The reason I left Levels was also because I could not imagine conducting any kind of conversation in there besides sign language.

I am 4th floor), however sometimes hear the thump thump of sex bed in another room, yelling, door slamming is very common, and the GF particularly complains about someone living the floor above, clomping around his apartment incessantly presumably wearing heavy shoes. Chilis sometimes has the fresh new farm girl that turns out to be exactly what the traveling salesman wanted (but be mindful of the rare ladyboy in persistent denial here). You stroll past those scammers and it gets harder and harder to find someone who measures up in our imagination by the time we get into an actual legitimate go-go bar.

Yes, one has to dodge a few more Ladyboys lingering outside their bars in NP, but that kind of "phoniness" (LOL) vs the real deal isn't like the cynical phoniness of the non barfine-able Coyotes one has to wade through on Cowboy. On one night I figured I would check out nana and if I found something I like, great. If not, I will go to Cowboy. I went into 3-4 gogos.
