I've noticed that it only takes 1-6 months of working for some girls to go from skinny to better formed to just skinny / unfit-fat (like no butt, no muscle and just plain fat). This is girls that I found to be very attractive and want to repeat with for looks / service, but now can't because they gained so much weight and look completely different. 8 days in Bangkok.

I am Single, mid 40's and work very hard all year in Europe.

After a sucessfull year, I treated Myself with a Trip to Bangkok.

I would say 2 k price is not due to a recent cost of living increase in BKK, and I have lived here for 16 years, but due simply to the fact that some dudes are willing to pay that. The economy in Thailand is going in the hopper. This will be a very rough year for them and workers in most sectors might experience pay cuts and perhaps even layoffs. A recent article stated that foreign investment was down 78% last years. Could mean an increase in FLs, as gals struggle to pay their ever mounting credit card debt. Should be some bargains to be had. Would be nice to see ST back to 1 k, which is still 10 times the min wage in this country.

Even though some girls prefer Koreans, there are plenty that normally get Farangs and some that take a mix. I don't see any evidence that girls don't want to be seen with Farangs. That's what me one particular buddy did all the time. We would meet girls and just take them for 1000 baht in Pattaya. Lately, I have adjusted to 1500. Mainly because I don't want to let a nice one slip away for the extra 500 baht. All depends on the girls attitude and friendliness.

I visited the gogo-bars in Patpong 1 and 2 recently (November and January), is seems that there are some improvements since my last visit in this area (2012). Although some say that the bars were better one year ago. Some details: Patpong 2 is the best, the bars Electric Blue, Bada Bing and Pink Panther (and maybe Black Pagda) made the best impression with me. In Patpong 1 only Kings Castle 1 is worth a visit. Stages full of stunners, no drink pressure, and the girls are friendly to chat with over a drink. Note that not all of them barfine, and some are coyote dancers. Drink prices are mostly 120-140 and LDs 200, so the same as in the other two gogo-areas. But some bars have draft beer for 90.

I found a really cute girl in Electric Blue, very little English spoken though. 2500 for st and 4000 for LT. But the barfine is 1000, I found that a bit strange since it's usually 600.

Anyway, Patpong is an interesting alternative if your tired of Nana and Cowboy. Sala Daeng Skytrain station, exit 1. Or Silom MRT station, but then it's a longer walk through those silly night markets.
