Bangkok Reports

I visited Bangkok in July for 3 days, and although late (was busy), I think I owe to the forum to write about my 1st time experience. Special thanks to AsiaTraveler2 for providing me with some advice.

I arrived in Bangkok around 8 pm. Immigration was swift. After customs. came out amd some guys started asking if needed a taxi. Avoided them. Put 1 of my luggage in the Airport locker. Just ask people inside the airport where it is. It was 100 baht per day. Anyway proceeded to get number 10 where there were taxis that are not freelancers and monitored by the airport authority. I was told 400 baht by the ticketman. I was going to Royal President in Soy 15. It was about 45 mintues ride. Came to the hotel and moved to my room. The room was execellent. It was 2200 baht per day. Was tired, so went to sleep and woke up the next day late. Anyway, went out. It was hot like hell. Went to see the Robinson Dept store, and took a foot message later in the afternoon.

There are plenty of girls bewteen Asoka Station and Nana Plaza station starting from 6 pm in the afternoon to late night. The girls are standing, sitting on the sideways. From the McDonalds near Robinson Dept store you could see customers burgaining with girls. If you happen to stay at S15 hotel, then literally the girls are outside the hotel door.

I picked 2 girls on separate nights for ST for 1000 baht. It was overall a good experience, except that both of them refused to give a BBBJ (i had covered BJ). I was annoyed by it both times, as I didn't understand why they would refuse. Anyway, I have to say, Bangkok has to be the place for any novice to pickup girls.

Beware of tuktuk asking you to go to gem shops or dept stores. Same thing with taxis. Just but 1 day pass at BRT and skytrain and have a map handy.

You are right, but in all fairness, I could not ask a BG to switch her mobile off because there can always be a real emergency call or text. Yes you have paid 600thb for her time but what if "Kurt the German" calls? and he is the 30,000/month sponsor? who thinks she patiently awaits his return sitting on the steps of her newly built house in nakhonwherever?

The girl was up out of her chair more than a pro boxer and obviously setting herself up for later and the guy I was with didnt see it.

Normally I never bother too much about the odd call etc, and I find that most girls do put the mobile on silent whilst going about the business. Should they not or refuse to do so having ''ruined'' the moment with some tinny lovesong ringtone, then I think about reducing the tip accordingly.

Best not get your hopes up too high, Peter. Such girls are a great rarity in the business since the last few years. The few real beauties in P4P are probably not even available to us - perhaps in Japanese only clubs or in venues oriented to the rich Thai punter (or just being mistresses of rich Thais rather than outright hookers). Certainly service from such beautiful girls, even if you could somehow access them, will be abominable, and attitudes difficult.

Quality is really down from the old days, and in fact numbers of girls - even mediocre ones - are way down as well. Best to just come with your sights set low and you won't be too disappointed.

life has improved bkk style

apologize if this report is too elementary for the many senior posters here, but just thought i'd write a quick summary of the bangkok scene for newbies from a newbie.

went to bangkok this past weekend and was shown around by a friend. oh man this place is like paradise on earth. below are notable places to go for a first-time visitor:

patpong: probably the most famous, but don't go there. you'll run into way too many tourists, families, and touts. nearly all the upstairs rooms are rip-offs and the girls are even more mercenary than other places.

nana plaza: take the skytrain to nana station. about 50 meters down suk soil 4, left hand-side, you'll see a huge complex with three floors of go-go bars. checked out most of them but by far the best is rainbow 4 on the 2nd floor. tons of hot chicks here dancing around in thongs. but go early because by 10-11pm the hottest chicks will be taken. beers are 135b and ladies drinks 160b or so. didn't barfine anyone here but should be 5-600b.

soi cowboy: take the skytrain to asoke station (one station down from nana). i think it's soi 23 but just look for the lights. this is my favorite of the three red light districts as it is much more laid back and only truly mongers come here. you won't run into tourists. depending on the day and regulatory environment, girls sometimes dance topless or pantyless. my favorite place is baccara, which last time i was there had tons of girls dancing with mini skirt no panties on. they also have a glass ceiling with girls in school uniforms dancing on top.

massage: a bunch of massage places near bts phrong phen by names of "teen massage", "angel massage", etc. but they mostly suck. you pay 400-600b for the massage plus 1500b to the girl fs for so so service. not a great deal in my opinion. instead, go to one of the soapy massage places for the same price (under 2000b) for 90 minutes of fun. cupidy is a good one at plaza entertainment.

beer bars: these are simply bars to drink a beer but have many free lance girls. my favorite is a place called thermae coffee shop nearly sok 15. tons of girls there. beer garden on suk 11 is popular but i've never seen many cute ones there. also in the evenings, particularly after 1-2am you'll see tons of hookers just walking around the lower sois, near nana. a lot of them will stand in the parking lot across from nana plaza but many of these will look okay only after many beers.

Wrong time, you'll get a poor choice of older and not so nice women. Right time, and you find some lovelies in there, but be quick in choosing them.

Thats what makes cruising the freelance bars more fun, you just never know what you'll find.
