Like the man said, PFP is fantastic and easy in Medellin. From high-end to low-end, lots to choose.

Mingling or dating in the non-pro, high-end socioeconomic group of Medellin is generally a pain in the butt and definitely not for me, though some guys do dig the drama and challenge and status of it all.

Dating and hanging with nornal chicas from more humble families though, CAN be very rewarding in Medellin, however, you MUST realize and spot IMMEDIATELY the chicas (and their families) that want to suck you dry of money.

Just keep your eyes open. They're plentyful and easy to spot these "interesadas" (interested in your $$ over all else).

The non-pro chicas and their families that GENUINELY dig you will be very hesitant to ask for money.

These above guidelines are simple but very important. It can be soooo easy to fall into traps of the heart and be taken advantage of.

It's simple guys, visit Medellin, enjoy the city, the chicas, the PFP, the friends you'll make but just don't be in a hurry when mingling with non-pros.

You'll meet both the good and bad, enjoy them both, and thinking with the big-head will keep you straight.

As far as "Romance Latina" goes, I could care less, not my bag.

As far as "staying horny", well that comes natural.

This is an INTERNATIONAL forum which means thousands if not more will view this thread soon and the poster need be careful not to contradict himself. It is possible his personal beliefs are his beliefs and not that of the site as a whole but this advertisement for his page is not helping him.

I personally Know alot of Colombian woman here and abroad and what you say is true to a limit. You have to realize that the sampling of american men coming to Colombia is not our finest Gene pool. We are over 40 men there to bang as many girls as possible and party there ass off as cheap and safe as possible. Not the most handsome and romantic bunch of men. This is all the girls see of us. My New york american accent I agree is Ridiculous LOL It gets a laugh here and there.

An observation I am sure of is that the longer a man is in this game. The line fades between regulars girls and hookers. To the point when all woman are the same. When people go on dates in the states and talk about getting freebies LOL It eventually comes down to stripping everything away and whats left is price and performance. I'm just not there yet

But I believe its possible To romance them and develop something more then a sex for money relationship I have experienced it myself, They defiantly hold on to there hearts and takes alot of conquering because it appears the Colombian men have exploited there weakness (romance) as a way to get free booty from them.

But is not like there are not cool and handsome guys in Latin America, is full of hight fierce competition.

Latin American people if full of gorgeous girls and for same reason are millions of good looking guys, So we have to be realistic there too.

And yes, I did meet some nice girls I don't think all of them are interesadas. But most of them yes, they are in some way. They can fall in love is true, but as you said, You have to work them out very hard, be some how a good player and a good romantic lover for them with out being a boring MF, The way they like to be romanced is not the way we usually think.

Here's my take: These chicas don't particularly like loud mouth, disrespectful, grossly out of shape, non-spanish speaking gringos.

Colombians, however, I've found actually DO like "gringos" in general, it just depends on the individual gringo really.

The pre-pagos you were hanging with may be tired of the run of the mill, PFP only, no personality, no pizaz, sex only gringo. But of course, they still love their (gringos) money.

A cool, respectful, spanish speaking guy with some personality WILL BE looked at as somewhat exotic and grab attention from these chicas.
Whether I'm running about in Colombia or Brazil, being a gringo (hopefully the cool type :) ) always gives me an immediate edge of at least getting my foot in the door.

I have to say, of course, I don't run much in the gringo frequented areas in either country, and that's a huge plus too.

That's been my experience anyway over the last decade or so traveling quite frequently throughout Colombia ... That's gotta count for something :)

I've been following this thread for some time now & feel the urge to chimb in.

I am a 50somthin guy a little xtra gut, regular guy.

In my experiences in Costa Rica & Colombia, I have made a lot of great contacts both male & female.

When dealing w/ the prepago's I always treat them with the same respect as I would a date. Except for the shure thing aspect. It seems that these girls as with any girls respond well to a little kindness & carinoso.

I have watched a lot of mongers act like predators or treat the encounter like a business deal. I believe this would make any girl apprehensive or cold.

Once in Costa Rica a strange girl hurriedly sat beside me at the bar & asked me to act like we were friends. She was actually evading a guy that I saw every trip that paced around the Blue Marlin like a panther on a hunt.

She would rather go home broke than be with this guy. Probably had prior experience with him.

It seems like all day every day is a rexaxed kinda party atmosphere when I have been in Colombia. But I have noticed plenty of guys that just sit quietly & leer at the girls while the pachanga is progressing.

I think a little kindness and an upbeat outlook goes a long way. A lot of these girls are from very a very humble & low social position & are doing only what they can to make ends meet. If their flaca, bonita & carinosa I am more than happy to make a donation. Also I don't try to beat them down on price, I'm not there for that sport. I tend to negociate tiempo & srevice to my benefit. Treat them right & you will reap the rewards. (I know there are some cold sharks there too, but I interview them out at the beginning.)

Also remember to keep your heart in your shirt, I know these girls can be charmers, but never forget the game & you can live long & prosper in the mongering heaven.

I haven't been to one yet. I would like to go next time. They have evolved and learned from their mistakes it seems. They cut the entrance fee in half and made it a cash bar since some people complained of running out of alcohol too early. I'm 52 year old, goodlooking, very romantic and very kind. I always paid them some lunch too, this is my caracter. But when I was in Barranquilla I had problems to fuck regular girls. I always gave them 2 days of kindless always with meals but then in the best time they ran away as eels. One week without fucking.
