Visited the two mentioned gogo bars. Windmill and Pin-up. I must say both want you to do Antigen tests. Stupid me came back to my room and did the test at home to show them, but still Windmill wanted a new test done, so I did one more there.

They look sad that you came negative. I mean it. I can face read more than anyone. They must be getting commission if someone comes positive and is hospitalized for 60 k to 120 k baht.

Windmill had few girls, their top floor is a bit better but you get to go there only after you purchase a few lady drinks on the base floor. Some topless some totally nude but not worth it I must say.

Pin-up had more girls than Windmill, they had pretty hot girls but most girls do not come to hotel with you, they are only suckers of ladydrinks. You can ask before purchasing a lady drink. I actually am not a fan of this LD. I know it is a passion and feels good in the west to go to a bar and buy a drink for a genuine lady that is not a prostitute and then talk with that genuine lady and see if things go the right way. In the west it is considered good to visit the coffee shop daily and bars at least once a week to indulge, socialize etc.

But this is not West, this place was run halfly by Indians who like the girls dancing on the stage or in the bed, nothing else. There is a reason you see so many Indian restaurants here. Indians directly choose the girls. I always directly approach the girls if they want to go to hotel. If they say yes, I barfine and take them to hotel. If they say no, and if I still like the girl, then I have to purchase a lady drink to spend some time with her and feel her assets, as I cannot get her to hotel anyways.

All in all, It is a must go once at least, but I prefer getting girls from the normal street bars / massage places and TF.

Let me know what were the prices the girls used to ask pre-covid? Now they settle for 1 k to 1. 5 k baht.

Another point worth making is that covid was very kind to me financially. I was able to work throughout it and saved a fortune on petrol / going out etc. My bank balance has never looked so rosy. So when I visit Thailand, I WANT to be generous. These girls and businesses in the entertainment and tourism sectors have had it really hard for a few years, so I like to tip. Not just girls but restaurant staff, taxi drivers, massage ladies, room cleaners etc. Some people tip / buy ladydrinks to be kind, not because they expect something in return.

Might have a faint smell of tequila. Boss said 'no watered down drinks in this bar' should have bought a shot of tequila for myself and watched what bottle they poured it out of.

Soi 6 is hopping, more and more talent showing up. Nightwish group was told by the police they can now hire 18 and 19 year olds, before it was just 20 and up. I had some fun at Lust then walked across the street to illuzions to find it oddly slow. Finished my drink and walked across to 'where Angeles play' and found me a super hotty who just started 3 days ago. Bought her a drink and since she was already nice and drunk from the last guy who just left after buying her half a dozen shots. Got me some good kisses and grinds so before you know it I was upstairs for round 2. Fantastic body with the exception of some baby damage on her breasts but everything else was a 10. Two shots in such a short time and I knew I needed to relax so walked around the corner and got myself a nice hour long nap and foot massage. After that shot down to WS for a looksee. Why does it upset people so much that a bargirl who might get 10-20 of those every night is trying to avoid becoming an alcoholic? As a punter, I'd sure be upset if my own drink was weak, but I'm not drinking the lady drink anyway.

Non-alcoholic lady drinks aren't saving the bar much money, you're already paying 90% in markup over the cost of cheap alcohol in full-strength ones. The deal is clearly about paying for her time sitting with you, and the drink is just a polite cover for that.

Once again for the misunderstanders: the whole business model of sex-services in TH has become a scam. Soon there will not even be lap-dances in TH. Before Covid half the bar in Soi Cowboy were run by Indians who imposed a no-sex policy on the girls.

Maybe buying drinks made some sense in the days when you could then take the girl to your hotel FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT. Since then the policy shifted from whole night to short time. Recently it has shifted again from short time to maybe not even that (no sex).

I think Mr E. Is fine with people buying lady drinks to socialize and have fun. However, he believes people are buying lady drinks for the wrong reason.

They think that buying more LD's will improve their chance to barfine the girl that they like.

He is saying that whether you buy 1 or 10 lady drinks, when you eventually get around to asking her to bar fine, the answer will be the same.

If a lady says no, some people think that revisiting and buying many more Lady drinks, will change her mind. Mr E. Is saying that this is usually unsuccessful.

I think the more that guys chase these girls using lady drinks, the less likely the girls will be to barfine. The girls will end up making enough money from lady drinks, so the plan of buying lots of lady drinks to get the barfine fails.

There is no one size fits all here. There are different types of girls that will respond to different approaches.

Some girls are experienced, straight out pros. They know their price. You pay she plays. She doesn't need to get to know you or feel comfortable with you. She is confident that she can look after herself. With these ladies I agree, lady drinks are optional.

But there are also girls, new to the scene. Not experienced at P4 P, who may be a bit hesitant. They might need to spend some time with you before they feel comfortable and agree to barfine. I can see how buying a few drinks and investing some time could pay off with these girls.

The cost of a lady drink is for the time they spend with you. I personally don't care what they drink or if they tip it on the ground.

For me I expect to get say 15 minutes of chat time so I can work out if the lady is worth buying another drink (or another 15 minutes).

If I am looking to barfine a girl I will know after 30 minutes (or 2 drinks) if she is worth being barfined or even if she can be barfined. I generally won't invest more than 2 or 3 drinks in this case. Total cost is probably $15, no big deal.

Some nights I don't really want to barfine a girl and may just be there to chill by myself or with fellow deviants. In this scenario I will probably buy 2 or 3 drinks per hour maybe spread over a few girls. If one girl happens to be entertaining enough to the point that everyone wants her to stay an hour or two I might tip her something like a few hundred or even a 1000 baht. I am paying for the entertainment value and if it costs $100 this is well within my means and represents value to me.

I know that everyone has different budgets and what represents value to them. There is no right and wrong.

I don't barfine that often anymore because frankly I can get laid anytime I want from my regulars with which I'm guaranteed the service I expect. I also don't normally barfine if I drink too much. I normally go out to go-go bars with my friends on Tuesday and Friday evenings every week and it's mostly to drink and have fun, I always buy lady drinks, I can drink alone at home. If a lady new or already a friend is really turning me on and agrees to my service requests I will either barfine her or have her come over after work. With the bars closing early it doesn't make sense to pay a barfine at 10:30 when the bar closes at 11:00.

We're expats and I already know many of the ladies and even if I don't I'm well known in the bar and she can find out about me from her friends in the bar or Mama. I don't have a girlfriend and I don't want one. However I do have many lady friends some work in bars, some in shops or restaurants, some are students and some are just freelance.

Edited to add that I live in Bangkok and what I described above I do in Bangkok. I was responding to the buying of lady drinks but realized that this thread is in the Pattaya forum. I only visit Pattaya on occasion and not often with the Covid restrictions. The Covid rules are being enforced less and less in Bangkok but in Pattaya they're still being enforced.

Most of the time it's better to have them out of your room and sleep alone after having fucked them twice in a two hours laps time.

As for your last sentence, I doubt it. The last reports are coming from people that enjoy paying ladydrinks instead of fucking the girls, I wouldn't take any conclusion based on these recent reports.
