First time out mongering in the land of the morning calm. I went to 588 Friday night in Cheungyangni and boy was I disappointed. Not at the quality of girls (there were some hotties) but the service. It reminded me of lunch hour at work - it was over before it even got started. I did a few walk-bys to pick the ho that was to my liking. I selected one that looked like she could suck the chrome off a bumper. Anyhow, paid her the customary 70K won and off to the races. She sucked ok for about 4 minutes and immediately lied on her back and instructed me to fuck her. She just laid there like a starfish while I was pumping her, and before I knew it I heard the ajuma screaming her name. I guess time was up. Total time elapsed - 10 minuets. Been reading here for a little while, just thought I'd add some stuff. I mainly stick around the Itaewon Hill area. For me its not really that bad, I guess it just depends on what nights you go though. And it seems a lot of times there are just some opportunists there to make a quick buck ya know. I met this one chick about 3/4 the way up on the left side, she had to be about 5'11". Nice medium sized breast, ass and everything. I mean she was the best girl I've ever seen on the hill. She told me that she was in school, and just there for the night to make some cash. All in all she was really cool, talked for a few minutes but she got straight to the point, time is money. We finally finish I get dressed and she is telling me to keep quiet. I'm thinking to myself that I am such an idiot. I guess they were shocked, they just got on the radio and started talking. I get by the stairs to the overpass and kind of glance behind me and notice that they are staring at me and begining to come towards me. I cut over towards the stores and parked cars on my left to get out of the line of sight and break into a full sprint. The very first alley I cut into it praying its not a dead end. I zig zag through a few streets on the back alley until I find another main road and a cab. That was my scariest night in Korea by far. The funny part was while in the cab, we drove toward the direction I ran from, I still saw a few cops looking around on their radios. Scary. Any other close calls on here. I have a funny one from down in Deagu I'll tell later.

Don't expect this. This place is quite expensive. Maybe what a ticket to Thailand costs in some cases. These room salons are just Karaoke with a girl. Lets say three guys go in there. Expect to pay 500, 000KRW plus. Then the establishment brings you a line up of young ladies. Each picks one, then they strip naked, and sing. Of course there is the touching and feeling. Drinking whisky, beer and a fruit platter, then finished off with a 5minute HN or BBJ. To my, not worth it and nothing like you found in that video. If you have Korean friends, of course that it would be worth checking it. But if I had my option, I would try my other resources. No strip clubs exist in Korea, period.

Trust me, I used to go to Bokchandong at least once a week after drinking with my coworkers. My company would pay the expense, so of course I did not mind.

So apparently this area is known for its strip shows (the gal in the video which I downloaded strips it all off and then fools around with a carrot in front of the camera, all apparently in "Bukchang-dong style"), but I will readily admit that not having explored Bukchang-dong in person, I'm not sure what you'd find there.

It wouldn't at all surprise me, frankly, if the "shows" are all done within room salons, at prohibitively expensive prices. For anything in the style of Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy, I still expect having to fly to Thailand.

I'm posting this in the hope that someone out there might find it worth following up on.

This weekend I had originally planned to visit the ANMA scene in Janhanpyeong which I had visited 9 months ago the one and only time. But I remember it as a place with several anma’s around. About 2 years ago there have been some posts, but lately there has been nothing. My post from March/April last year has been actually the last one.
Ok that was the plan, but then I had to do several other things and at the end it was already 23:00h, so I decided to skip it and probably do for the next weekend.

Went to Itaewon instead without any mongering in mind and went to some of the bars where the female and male expats, foreigners in general go and as well many Korean and other Asian countries females. Mixed dancing is the atmosphere there and people are generally open minded to talk to everyone. Many are here almost every week, so you recognize many the same faces over time coming frequently. Somehow the males have always the night score in mind as one can see acting when they chatt up and dancing with the women. But is is a 2 side story, as the women also have that in mind for sure, however a bit more hidden.

Anyhow nice atmosphere there. I am also a frequent visitor. So far I have not enforced a success to much, as usually the opportunities here are better if you would be ready for some commitment. Others look for somebody giving some financial support. However I also know that some females are here just to get some adventures outside their boring marriage. But it is not easy to distinguish the adventure looking from the support looking and the relationship looking. I am rather careful there for the safe side, as I don’t need a girlfriend necessarily. In addition there are some scammers out there.

Some who like to cheat especially single male and short time visitors. This works that a girl approaches you more or less, have some nice talks and she shows much interest in you. So far not that unusual to the real other case described above, but she will be more actively approach you then let her approach. The scam is that she will ask you sooner or later to change place for some more talk. Then she will lead you to some bar she gets commission on and lead you to high priced drinks. The bars operating this way are not easy to distinguish from other bars, but there is a clear method: It is always that the drink prices are unbalanced among each other. Means that if a beer is 5.000 Won, in a normal bar a glass of wine would be about 8.000 Won. However in case of scam bars the wine may be 20.000 Won and a cognac would be 40.000 Won. A bottle of whine could be 500.000 Won etc. So the girl which keeps you in hope for a nice night adventure will for sure order Whine or cognac (the high priced things). If you don’t take care you can easily end up with 500.000 – 2.000.000 Won that way. A bit expensive for a ‘freebee’. So watch the signs: Is she actively approaching you, is she suggesting to choose another place? Anyhow: Always choose the location of another place yourself. If she insists on a certain place, then better give up immediately. She is a scammer then.

So back to yesterday: Knowing the methods and scams and the desires of the several ladies in short term, long term relationship showing up here, I yesterday took the first time the risk of taking somebody home.

Spotted a in my eyes nicely dressed and appearing woman and has some eye contact. Fully fall into my spec. and guessed her 25 years old. She was with a western guy trying to approach her or even could be her boyfriend. So thought: to bad, this lucky guy, ‘how can she bee with such a guy’. I moved to another area of the bars where I found some of my friends. Suddenly the girl appeared and said that she has no time, but if I could give her my phone number, saying she does not like the guy approaching her. So she typed her number into my phone and dialled, so we had exchanged numbers. When I later went to toilet, I still saw her sitting with the guy, but she rather looked unhappy. I did not consider to ‘help’ her and go in competition to the other guy. She needs to solve that herself. So went back to the area where my friends where. About 40 minutes later she suddenly appeared, saying that she got rid of the guy. We went for dancing, enjoyed that and felt sympathy for each other. Sympathy was clearly rising between us rapidly and it took not long and we were dancing slowly. Exchanged some info, I told that I am married, she didn’t want to tell me ( but obvious –married as well). Appeared that she is not 25 as guessed but rather in the second half of the 30s (hard to believe). So after some more drinking and some more overspreading sympathy I asked her if she would join me to with my home. (I also was always prepared – you never know, to monitor the scammer signs, so senses where up, but no sign, no ask for change place etc.). She hesitated and said that she has to work tomorrow 8:15, but finally agreed.

Went to my place and she was rather shy. As polite as I am I offered the guest room of my apartment, but finally we ended in one bed, still open of we do or not. I am able to give up even if I am that close, make her relax is much more important and it was only 2 ½ hours left until she needed to get up. At the end she was totally relaxed and felt comfortable and finally we did it. She is a bit of a screamer, so I was afraid that I wake up neighbours. She obviously enjoyed. I didn’t insist to come myself as it was to late, so we soon went to sleeping. In the morning no time for another round, and be reliable is more important for me.

So if it turns out well, I may have found a temporary freebee, who wants to have occasionally some extra adventure when her husband is on trip, or working overseas (?? Need to find out). This would be exactly what I am looking for.

So will keep you updated guys.

Good point about the freebies. Reality is that you will always find girls that want to meet a foreigner... especially around Itaewon. Thats what these girls want, and thats why they hang out there. Of course if you want freebies, and from my experience, Korean girls are not easy.... so posibilities of taking one home on the first night are slim to none, but if you can at least get a number, call the girl up, spend some money on taking her for coffee, a movie or a dinner... even get her drunk... ill bet you she will come home with you after 2-3 times. Remember guys, foreigners dont have a good reputation in Korea, period. And these girls dont want to pretend to be easy, you have to put some down and you will see a return on investment. Now that does not take away from the fun of paying and going to the RLD's. I used to have quite a bit of freebies, yet I was still turned on by the little, expensive, foreigner unfriendly mongering scene.

i worked for a law firm here in seoul for a year. i've been to a room salon (yes, just once) with my lawyer boss.

from experience, then, i know what half a million won gets you.

Incidently, there is a distinction between Room Saloon and Bokchandong, however cloudy it is becoming. For Room Saloon expect to pay 500K per person and get full service at a nearby Fucktel. If you don't have any Korean friends to take you there, make some. It IS worth it!

I use to frequent the glass houses a while back, but I'm not one to get a nut in 10/15 minutes so I quit going to them. Plus the whole experience, unless you meet an exceptional Korean girl who really gives the GFE, seems too business like. Not one time out of 30 have I gone to one without getting the knock from Ajuma. It's just not worth the money if you ask me. But of course many guys go for the rush of fucking a beautiful Korean women no matter how long she gives you for the quoted price. I can understand the attraction.

Tried some action in Yongsan, walk thru 588. Of course I read the postings before about the poor service, but sometimes you just have that little optimism that you may just find a rare jewel. But I realized that this does not exist in Yongsan, neither 588, unless of course you may be Korean. Perhaps that rare jewel does exist. If I can just take an option: if youre in Korea, save your money, go to SE Asia.

Have you ever tried Miari?

I made the best experience there of all RLD.

If you confirm 30 min (sam ship pun) they will all agree. Its a hit or miss of course, but while I rate the miss rate in 588 >90% and in Yongsan about 70% I would rate Miari miss rate about 30-40% 'only'. There is even a GFE opportunity and if you are frequent visitor of the same place the service gets better and better. Overall the girls are more service oriented (by RLD standards) and I see Miari ,as I experience it, still as the best value for money
in Korea (by korean standards)
I am almost going to one shop now there and have 2 girls there who give me supperb service for 30 minutes.

Will try to do a double parallel or sequence next time. Check my old reports about Miari.

Hoping that some of you guys there now will be able to take a few minutes and advise where is the best of the HJ parlors (exact directions pls).

Agree with Caaznlvr that these better value than RLD.

Also tried the bokchangdong/room salons before and although it was an awesome one-off experience it's definitely not value for money.

Guess there's always the barber shops if i am stuck - but they are hit and miss.
