Phuket Report – Day 3.

This will be my last mongering day in Phuket before heading to the world's mega mongering capital of the world, Pattaya! Today, I woke up around 9 am and again dragged myself out of bed for breakfast and to pick up my laundry. I then came back to my hotel to write most of yesterday's trip report, and at about 1 PM I set off to explore the other MPs of Phuket beside Christin's. I headed south to Soi Kepsab. I am going to be in Thailand as part of an SE Asia vacation, traveling solo. I'll come to Phuket on Dec 18 from Siem Reap. I chose Phuket as my primary destination as I'm interested in tourism and sight-seeing. As such, reading the forum has been very helpful and I can find most answers. However, there's one thing I haven't been able to get a sense of and I was hoping somebody might address it.

1) How far will the girls go with you for a LT? Do they remain within the immediate vicinity of Bangla or will they venture out of that area? My understanding has been that the major night life area is just Soi Bangla though I am sure there would be more far flung bars. I was looking at Royal Phawadee Village hotel, which seems like a block away.

Mostly (from my experience) families stay around Karon / Kata & Kamala beach and come here for all the action. Doesn't mean no families stay in and around Patong beach. But 90% of the action happens in and around.

BR. I was staying just opposite to Royal Phawadee hotel last month and before that, it is about 10 min walk to BR from the hotel and 5 min walk to the beach. I will be there again around 25th Dec. (5th time this year!

Girls generally prefer to stay around Patong area as venturing out to other areas become quite taxing and Tuk Tuks will charge you a bomb during this season. If you have your own vehicle then might be a good idea to take them away from patong. It is advisable to.

Be in walking range for quick sessions if you'd like and most girls prefer that. LT might happen but I have experienced that happens at the fag end of the night till morning which is quite taxing on both parties.

Most of the Thai & Russian girls stay in Nanai road which is about 10-15 min on two wheeler, but away from the beach and the hotels there would be cheaper. Again it would be away from all the action. The Royal PV hotel would be a good option as it close to the.

Main area and easily accessible at any time of the day / night. You can always venture to Karon / Kata / Kamala beach through the day.

Try the Surf House in Kata it is the place to be in the day. No action but if you need to chill out. There used to be Nikki Beach Club in Choeng Thale but now seems to be closed, not sure it opened again. Check, if it is, then not to be missed.

I stayed at the Royal Phawadee in their deluxe suite a while back and I really liked this hotel. The location of the hotel is hard to beat with respect to Bangla Road and Patong Beach since both destinations are very easy, short walks, yet Sawatdirak Road is a quiet and a more relaxed soi with only a few other hotels and a couple of small bars. You will not have any trouble bringing girls back to the Royal Phawadee.

I hear Karon Beach has some girly bars, but I imagine it is nothing like Bangla Road. It might be worth a look / see one night if you get tired of Patong, but I would not recommend staying on Karon for that purpose. And Katherine Massage is a real good place to check out. This is the best massage parlor on the island! It is located near Phuket Town. They offer outcall and inhouse services. Obviously the outcall service to your hotel is more costly, plus you have to select a girl without seeing her in person which why I recommend going to this place at least for your first time.

As for recreational daytime activities: I strongly recommend renting a motorcycle or small car in order to get around and visit the better Phuket Beaches. Kamala Beach and Surin Beach to the north are very nice as is Nai Harn Beach to the south. Patong Beach is ok, but you would be doing yourself a great injustice to come all the way to Phuket Island and not spend some quality daylight hours on these better beaches. I'll go ahead and stay at Royal Phawadee Village. I actually got the original idea by looking at Natty's post from 2013. Seems like a nice balance between basic and upmarket resorts, not too far away from the hustle and bustle. Recent online reviews complain of construction taking place next door but say it's fine inside the building.

I think Static's idea of exploring the island beaches and other areas as day trips will probably work. Thank for you for the idea about Surf House. Nikki Beach Club's site depicts it as awesome! Regrettably, they have put a sign saying it's closed. .

1.) Next to Best Western Hotel on Phangmeuang Soi 5 minutes walk from BR through Sansabai Soi, The name of the SPA is "Lets Relax". I've been there early this year and they are thorough professional. Slightly expensive.

2.) Jungceylon Mall basement, there is a SPA (Don't remember the name) but very professional and reasonable charges.

3.) Pimnara Spa in Jungceylon, very professional and slightly expensive (It is a Boutique Hotel and Spa).

4.) Let's Relax has a smaller branch on Rat-you-Thit Rd, if you continue to walk past Jungceylon Mall (being on your left) about 5-7 minutes you'll find this SPA on your left.

5.) You can also try Thara Patong Hotel and Resort Spa, it is bang opposite The Royal PV, not the best looking girls but very professional service.
