Colombia Jake was accused, not convicted. However, in Colombia, at the discretion of the authorities, you go to prison until they decide to send you to trial. As we all know, no trial ended up being needed.

Age of consent, never comes into play for anyone from the US or Canada. Both countries have laws prohibiting travel in order to have sex with minors, regardless of the age of consent in the home state or foreign country.

There's also the potential issue with the guys who take photos and videos, if it turns out the subject is under 18. Each person's potential liability will vary. Here's an extreme example:
