Mikster,
LA Cafe is in Malate. When there is no traffic, like at 11 pm, it takes about 20-25 minutes to get there from Makati. The taxi cost is about 70-80 Pesos.
As I said in my previous post, the best time to arrive at LA Cafe is around midnight.

Hello Fellow Mongers,
I will be arriving in Makati on 3-7 for a week and was wondering if somebody could recommend a 3 or 4 star hotel costing about $40 to $50 dollars per night. It should be close to P. Bugos St., girl friendly, locking safe in room, massage available in room and pool.
The hotels I am considering are: Astor, Tiara Oriental, AIM, Millennium Plaza, Makati Plaza, Regines, El Cielito Inn and City Garden. Please let me know your good and bad experiences with any of these.
Thanks!

Just my two bits. Cool Renegade is right on the money with the dress code. Even up in AC it helps to look like you care about how you look.

Pals,
Sorry I missed you guys on my way into Makati last Friday night. Had a lady who is an Accountant in Makati arrive at my Hotel with overnight bag in hand. Did her twice plus a good blowjob before flying to Cebu. Had to be there for my birthday as my Woman and Daughter met me at my Hotel in Cebu.
Off to Davao now and be back in Makati in 3 days. Hope to see a few of you before I fly to Hong Kong.
Regards,
DS

Hey Guys,
36 more hours and I am off to AC, and then back down to stay in Makati. I am still a little confused about about the area in Makati/Manila having never been there before. I found a hotel directly across from EDSA called the Copacabana. Is EDSA the big entertainment complex with all the pickup bars? Is LA Cafe within 20-30 minutes of this place? Burgos St near EDSA?
Im sorry about my question. I havent had time to read through all the archives with my trip so last minute and all. I had to focus on AC since there are so many websites availabe so I am trying last minute to get my bearings on Manila. Appreciate any and all help.
Thanks

Mikster,
Yes (EDSA is the street, the "complex" is on it at Roxas), yes and no. Burgos is a ways from the complex. But doable late at night.

Hey guys,
I'm still trying to understand the layout of Manila. How far is the Manila Pavilion in Ermita from the LA Cafe. Can somebody give me as close to specific directions as possible to avoid a cabbie taking me for a ride?
I am arriving March 17th before heading to Iriga City on Friday morning. Anyone interested in meeting and having a drink, PM me and I'll buy.

Guys,
So much talk about LA CAFE I just had to give my little bit.. I spent three nights there last week, for me its about the best its ever been. Beautiful girls, laid back atmosphere and great staff. Wish I could open a similar bar at home.
For me, I can highly recommend it, especially for new visitors to Manila.
Full reports when I get home. Have fun guys! I am.

Can anyone give me directions and or exact location of LA Cafe?

Teddybr99,
Walking from the Manila Pavilion:
Walk down United Nations Avenue towards Roxas Blvd.
Turn Left on M.H. del Pilar St
Walk down about 5-7 blocks, it's on the right hand side of the street.
Walking during the day isn't so bad. At night, there will be street touts trying to talk to you to get you to go into some of the girlie bars that are on M.H. del Pilar St. My advice is to just keep walking and ignore them or stay on the opposite side of the street from them.
If catching a cab, you probably want to catch a cab on United Nations heading toward Roxas Blvd because I believe the street in front of the Manila Pavilion is one way.
Good Luck

This is the result of MY Forum Search:
Try the north-west Corner of M.H. Del Pilar and R.Salas. Del Pilar is one block up from Roxas Blvd, between Roxas and Mabini. R. Salas is one block North of Pedro Gil. For the direction impaired - if Manila Bay is to your left then you're looking north. If you're more than three blocks up from the bay or further north than Padre Faura you've gone too far.
Forum Search is located on the upper left hand corner of the main page.

Just wanted to remind you guys that when you're in LA Cafe check out the bar directly across the street from the front door. It does not have any free lancers, and it's not as good as LA, but if it's an off night at LA, the dancers at the other bar are worth checking out. They are available, good looking and not very expensive.

Hi Guys,
Back home now. 5 cities, 3 countries and 7 women. Hong Kong was beautiful. For the guy who asked, just tell a cab driver to take you to EDSA Plaza in Manila. Have him drop you at LA Cafe. Easy to find and all taxi drivers know EDSA Plaza.
I think Firedick mentioned about looking good. I think it does matter and you get treated better everywhere if you dress nice. As mentioned, Burgos Street in Makati is expensive but I always have fun there. Got my dick sucked in a booth by a 21 y/o with huge tits last April there and it cost me only a ladies drink. Another girl asked to see my dick as I entered the rest room so I kindly obliged her (some old fart came by and started bithching about us doing something immoral there. The old guy should have been shopping for cemetery plots). He kept me rom getting my dick sucked a second time in 30 minutes in that Club.

DS,
What bars did you visit on Burgos? Just curious, I stay just a block over and found it a bit expensive.

Just got back from four days in Manila and spent a lot of time at LA Cafe. As always, it was crowded and the pickings were plentiful. Wound up with a lovely 19 year old student who didn't really want anything but to be taken out to dinner and treated well. I obliged, and we had a great time for a couple of days. I may never return to Burgos Street. Also went back to Jurrasic Park across the street. They have a couple of new dancers who are well worth checking out. It's a pretty low key place and they do not hustle you as on P. Burgos Street.
