Forget about using TAM to fly from Buenos Aires to Asuncion, read my earlier trip report from October 2007, by far the cheapest and best way to fly that route is with GOL. As I posted earlier, very frequently you can score a roundtrip ticket EZE-ASU, including the Paraguayan departure tax, for $140-$160 USD. There is a daily flight leaving EZE around 2pm, so when you arrive from JFK at 11am you clear customs and check in for your next flight with little delay.

My visit to Asuncion, last December, suffered from bad timing. I spent almost week over there, between 3 and 9 Dec. Unfortunately, the weekend of Dec.8 turned out to be the long weekend of 'Nuestra Senora de Caacupe'. This is a major holiday in Paraguay. Everything was closed for the whole weekend, including all casas. The streets were completely deserted and the girls had gone off to their families. Already on Friday 7th, several casas were closed and in the ones I found open, the choice was very limited. I didn't get laid at all on Sat.8 and Sun.9. So, better avoid Dec.8, when you plan to visit Paraguay.

Apart from this drawback, I rather liked Asuncion from a monger's point of view. Price/quality ratio is very good. In the casas (I only visited the casas), the usual hourly tariff is 100k Guarani. That is about 20 USD or 15 EUR. Most of the girls are young and pretty and most of them deliver GFE type sex. I didn't come across one case of gringo pricing (on the Asunsex forum, local guys mention the same prices as I paid). However, BBBJ is not a usual thing in the casas. Either that, or I picked the wrong girl every time. All the girls I've been with insisted on 'forro'.

A few comments on the casas and girls I visited:
Deseos Agency (14 de Mayo 1008). Visited Lujan 2 times. She is a young morena, great body and a pretty face. Very good attitude and a real GFE. Glad you liked her too, BL, you've got good taste!!

Promociones & Eventos (Cerra Cora 217). First had a blond girl whose name I don't remember (Erica?) and a redhead named Cecilia on the next day. Cecilia is another star in my mongers' crown. She is a real beauty and she is not going to be around for a long time - this is BA top-class material! Red hair on both ends, white skin, freckles, round ass, flat stomach and the most magnificent pair of firm, big tits (pink nipples!). She looks younger than the 20 years she claims to be. No BBBJ but still very much GFE. Get her while she is still available at a modest price! I paid 120k G., which is the standard hourly rate in this house. A bit more expensive than most other places but the casa is very nice and clean, the 'mama-san' didn't look like a crone and even spoke some English. Good airco too, which is absolutely necessary in Asuncion.

Sigana Mia (Mexico 451). Fucked a dark skinned morena with big tits in this place. Not more than an o.k. experience. The casa is dark and not too clean.

Valkyrias (Azara 905). When I visited, they had 5 or 6 young girls who all seemed eager enough. They greeted me with big smiles on their faces. I chose Karla (or Carla), a nice morena with a good body and an o.k. face. She was really hot! However, again CBJ only. The mama-san ripped me off by not giving me change for a bottle of coke I had ordered. After my session with Carla, I couldn't find her anywhere so I left without my change. Standard rate in this casa was 100k G. per hour.

Elite (Azara 1565). I went there on Friday, Dec 7th when most girls had already left for the long weekend. The two girls that were still there were not attractive enough to do, so I abstained.

Babilonia (Azara 1270). Visited this place also on the day before the long weekend. Only one girl there who didn't do it for me (she would back home but one gets spoiled very quickly in a place like Asuncion).

A&C (14 de Mayo 1241). Went there several times during the week I stayed in Asuncion but it was closed all the time.

I'm not going to elaborate on what some other guys on this board already mentioned about Asuncion. It is a boring place if you don't know anyone. Next time, I may try to hook up with a 'regular' girl via a 'friend finder' service in order to have some company during non-mongering hours. What bothered me most in Asuncion was the oppressive heat all the time (I'm from the North-West of Europe). It really gave me headaches. If I'll go back there, it won't be in December. The cool season (May-Aug) may be better for me.

A final remark about my trip to and from Asuncion: in both cases, I took the bus from and to B.A. It is a rather long trip (about 18 hours) but it is not too bad when you take a 'coche cama'. I was able to sleep a few hours on both trips. I didn't have any problem on the Argentina - Paraguay border. Nobody questioned me or wanted to search my bags. I guess that they are now getting used to tourists going to Paraguay.

Intresting because in BA it's the other way around. The girls from paraguay are the "go to" girls when you need a little extra.

No, what you apparently didn't do is negotiate. I had no problem getting BBBJ in Asuncion, but I got a commitment from the girl before I committed to her.

I keep saying this until I'm blue in the face: negotiate for services wherever you monger. 9 out of 10 times you'll get what you want, if the girl realizes that not giving you what you want will mean losing a customer.

Otherwise, your impressions of Asuncion were the same as mine: great sex with great looking girls at bargain basement prices. Too bad it's such a pain to get to.

Right on, Artisttyp, in BA it is usually the Paraguayas that will perform BBBJ. But there, I never have to negotiate. It is just assumed and included in the price. I didn't negotiate in Asuncion but I did ask the girls to do it 'sin forro'. Every time, they refused, even when I offered them a tip. Guess I should have asked them before paying.

About the bus: from BA to Asuncion, I used 'Crucero Del Norte'. I paid 150 pesos (about 48USD). That is 'Clase Ejecutivo' with 'Coche Cama'. There is an even higher class which entitles you to a real bed in your own compartment but that was fully booked. By the way, when I was at the Retiro bus station there was a very long line in front of another ticket office. It was also for buses to Paraguay. I asked the guy in 'my' ticket office why there were so many people over there. He grinned and said: 'they give away free tickets for Paraguayans'. It was a special action for the Caacupe weekend, apparently. Lots of pretty girls in that line, by the way.

On my way back to BA, I used the line 'Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion' in Asuncion. Also 'Clase Ejecutivo' and 'Coche Cama'. The price was 270k Guaranis (about 60USD). That was the highest class available for this line.

Food and drinks were included in the 'Ejecutivo' tariff. Rather good service. However, when you take a lower class, I think that you'll have to bring your own stuff.

Checking for flights from BUE to ASU I came accross to as low as $157 round trip on Aerolineas with a 30min stop at Residencia.

IMHO is a better way to go in 4hrs 30min than 18hrs on bus even in classe executiva coche cama seats.

I'll be visiting paraguay in late feb but my trip was originally scheduled for the last two weeks of March. After going over the dates I noticed that the 21st is good friday, and figured that since many countries in South America are very religious it was in my best interest to avoid that weekend, after reading your report I feel like I made the right decision.

Bucanero, do you know of any hotels in Asuncion that are "visitor" friendly (cheap, decent)? What about strip clubs? do you know of any in Asuncion?

Hi Jerkus, I think that you made the right decision avoiding Good Friday. As to hotels and strip clubs, I'm afraid that I can't help you. I was only there for a few days. Better ask Pija or someone else who lives there. The hotel where I stayed (Hotel City) was not visitor friendly but I'm sure that most hotels don't make a fuss about this. Others in the Asuncion thread mentioned hotels that will allow girls. I didn't see any strip club in Centro but there may be one or more in the suburbs.

I went with Cecilia yesterday and my assessment is a good example of how experiences. And/or perceptions. Can be different. I do agree she has a wonderful pairs of tits, one of the best I've ever sucked. Skin is also very soft. Apart from that, I don't think she's got any special beauty or body. Hovewer, the worst thing was the attitude. Definitely no GFE and a little bit authoritarian. Refused any kissing, aleging she doesn't do it with clients.
