The asking price was 3-4 USD per box of 4 pills, and I was able to bargain down to 4 boxes of various brands for 10 USD.

There are at least 3-4 different varieties of these pills from India.

i am not the full bottle on fish bowls but i know that there is one at the beautifully named chip lay hotel next door to the walkabout.it is on the fifth floor and as one waits for the lift there is a sign next to the lift door that says "no sex".
the walkabout is on the corner of 51 and something st,the chip lay is just down something st to the west of the walkabout.
i paid $3 an hour for the massage and $6 to the girl,a cheap lay for a lovely young thing from kompong cham.
the new york hotel on monivong is only a few minutes walk away and also has massage upstairs but i didn't see a fishbowl.only a lot of girls with very white faces.

Yes, these girls will leave with you if they like you, that shouldn't be a problem or wasn't for me anyway. I was in this bar and the others in that area from 6-9pm and was in some places the only customer during those hours. Had the pick of the litter.

I am an early riser, not a big drinker so like to get it on a bit earlier. Had to pay a $10 barfine to take the girl out early, was around 8:30 pm. If you wait until latenight, After midnight I think, no barfine. I think all the bars work on a similar basis.

Anyway, best to get the price agreed on before any commitments are made. I paid the girl I took $25, no negotiations, and she was happy with this since I went back and paid bar on another night with her.

The reason I mention negotiating before hand is I took one back from DV8 bar and gave her the same amount in the early morning as I was getting ready to catch a bus for Siem Reap. A full morning of seeing genocidal stuff really dampened my spirits during my recent visit to Phnom Penh. Wanting desperately to get a lift, made a visit to Mikado. It was around 7.30 pm and not very crowded. Sat at the bar and surveyed the horizon whilst sipping a drink.

Not long after, two scantily clad women came and sat near me. Bought them a drink and had some small talk. One was desperate to make me horny by resting her breasts on my arm.

Didn’t find anything that interested me too much. Came out and spoke to a few moto guys. One guy recommended Natari, and took me there.

I was given a menu which included the charges for various types of massages. The girls were seated inside a well-lit long glass cubicle resembling a fish tank.

I opted for the lowest massage of US$ 5 and selected a 22 year old slim fair Khmer girl. She took me to a room which was extremely clean. It was clear from the outset that both of us were looking for something more than a mere massage. After a bath together, we had a good 30 minute FS session on the bed. Good GFE, and she could communicate reasonably well in English. Cost : US$ 5 + US$ 20 to the girl.

Would have done a repeat, but Siem Reap beckoned.

thought i would add my experiences at brothels in p.penh where my valuables were targeted for theft. there were 2 different brothels, one on 63st, the other on 154st.
fortunately i got away scot-free on each occasion, but it could have been so different.

the first brothel was at number 99d in str 63 where a mildly aggressive pimp solicits you as you walk by, with an offer of $5usd sex. up 2 fights of steps and into a fishbowl arrangement of about 10 young girls i picked mai, 19yrs, from siem reap who said her mother was viet and father khmer. paid my $5 to the pimp and proceeded to the room.

having read reports of stealing from brothels in 63 st i was wary, but still pretty green, as this was my first brothel experience in pp. i carry a small bag around with me, which i put my moneybelt and camera inside, and which i lock through the zipper eyelets. i do take care to only carry minimal cash with me, the rest i leave back in the hotel.

after stripping off, i placed the locked bag in the corner of the room at the foot of the bed furthest from the door. thinking i was being smart i didn’t place it on the hooks right next to the door where a hand could easily reach in from the door and take it. what i didn’t know was that these guys will slide along the floor out of sight, under the cover of the bed to get at your gear.

the girl started off giving me a really strange massage, mainly a percussion type of massage of my head. this was obviously to make it difficult for me to hear the thief open the door to get at my gear. and she would place my head so i was looking down at the bed as well, and not so my head was looking back towards the door.
after a few minutes of this absolutely fucked massage, i heard a familiar, but soft clinking of the zipper on my bag. ie, the bag was on the move! i immediately got up off the bed to check the security of the bag, and to my shock, it was gone. holy crap! these guys are good! i didn’t even hear anyone enter the room. i shouted at the girl, “where is my bag” and she pointed out the door. so i looked outside the door and there it was. what a relief! there was my bag, all alone, and the combination lock hadn’t even been tampered with.

so it appears that the game here is to grab your gear while you are doing the deed in the room. remove all your excess cash, and then place your gear back in the room without you even knowing it. very hard to prove that they had stolen anything, so tough luck for you.

for me, the fact that i had discovered my bag was missing within 10 seconds of it actually being moved plus the fact that i had locked it probably saved me. it appears that they were not interested in knicking the bag, because then i definitely would have called the police, and that might have been trouble for them. by the way, the girl acted “shocked” that someone had taken my bag.

the second incident occurred at a brothel on 154 st. located just west of norodom blvd on the south side, there were 2 brothels next to each other, with a good selection of reasonably cute and fresh viet and khmer chicks. $10 a pop. after selecting jin from saigon who was longer limbed than most of the others, with a fantastic set of tits, the pimp did a strange thing and took us to the brothel next door. this was probably to get me into the “thieving room”. that is, where it was easiest to knock off my gear. after stripping off, i noticed a closed door to an adjoining room, and a 1 inch crack at the top of the door. and who was peering through the crack? yes the pimp! he was obviously not admiring my impressive schlong, but observing where i was stashing my goodies. i shouted at him to [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] off, and he soon did. then i locked the door to the room, blocked the crack with some clothes and put my moneybelt at the head of the bed. didn’t have any problems after that.

so some recommendations:

first, never let your valuables out of your sight. always place your valuables on the bed near your head, so they always in view.

second, lock the damned door! the doors have locks on them. use them. third, always carry your valuables into the wash room. again, don’t give the theives access to unattended gear.

fourth, beware red flags like strange massages around the head region; the girl dismissing herself from the room supposedly to take a [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord134][CodeWord134][/url], but more likely to inform the thief on where you are stashing your gear in the room.

now that i know the score in these places i have no hestitations in returning. pussy was great. really fresh girls with great racks. these are the types of girls you see in the pattaya go-go bars that cost a fortune to bar fine and then have to pay an exorbitant st fee, where there is not much change from 1600 baht. here in ppenh, they are a great bargain, the equivalent of 175baht ($5usd) to 350baht ($10usd).

and a query: does anyone have the actual address numbers of the brothels in st 63? i have read here that there are 4 viet brothels in this street. thanks.

Hmm , after all my reports about these places there will always be the curious ones that still go there.
Glad you are safe (despite all my warnings) and nothing stolen.
Still don't know why you still want to pay them to keep these thieves in business instead of spending your money to support honest ones?????

Anyway, most of the brothels I had visited in the past are closed (and since the scams are same, then it's the same thieving pimps open up elsewhere. Not too hard to find them as they will often approach you instead. The pushier the pimp, the more they want your money (to steal that is).

If you had read my previous reports, I intentionally visited many brothels there and 100% of the time I had some money missing. (I deliberately left a few dollars in my pockets just to see how it was done and perhaps find an honest place at St63 to report about, but never found even one).

BTW: I was never afraid of having a few things stolen from me but if you had read Pirate1 reports he almost got killed or beat up when he caught on to their scheme at these brothels. Just to let you know that your money is not the only thing you can lose here. Remember that life is cheap in Cambo. They will not hesitate to whack you for a few dollars. Also, don't expect the police to help you if something do go wrong as I've heard they are often in on the scam to profit from it--in fact, they could be the ones to make you "disappear forever" to protect their profits. This happened when I visited Cambo last year (I won't disclose location or city) but an Aussie was missing and was last seen with a few plainclothes police officers??--maybe they were and maybe not, who knows. But the Aussie"s body was never found. If losing your life or getting beat up is worth saving a few dollars at these places then the choice is yours to make.---IMO

These 63rd Street spots were not like this just a few years ago. The deal was as advertised, then, at least in my own experience. I wouldn't compare what was on offer to what you'd find in BKK go-gos, then at least. But in Feb 2005 I had the same experience described often here, and was lucky to catch the mysterious arm in the act of trying to grab my pants. A moto driver had taken me there that night, only because my regular driver stood me up on our appointment (he claimed to know the spot my regular was going to take me to - he didn't). Bad luck for me.

Anyway, unless the quality of the talent on 63rd St has risen dramatically in the last 2 yrs, which I doubt, definitely you can find much better in even the cheapest spots in PP (such as Martini's, Walkabout, etc.).

Otherwise I guess you could wear your moneybelt around your waist during the act, and I suppose then that she'd be doing a lot of back massage during the act, with someone standing there to receive the cash as she handed it over. Really, not sure how anyone could enjoy this kind of struggle. Maybe some do. I guess if you do like that kind of thing, 63rd St is the place for you. ;-)

But basically, this was a cheap and bottom-of-the-barrel experience in the early 2000s and prior, and sometime around 2004-2005 it changed to the scam it is now. Even when it was "good", it was barely worth going to.

the whole family with 4 kids were eating lunch on the filthy kitchen floor. the viet girl took me into her room then suggested i leave all my clothes on the shelves next to the door.

thanks to info in isg i knew some pro's would sneak through the door and lift my wallet, so i refused. the girl insisted again that i leave the clothes next to the door. fuck that. i had my clothes and my wallet bundled up on the bed and i kept my hand on it while i gave the girl her $5 fuck of her life.

i was scared shitless thoughout the fuck that some assholes would steal my wallet and passport. but i made it through ok. on the way out, saw 3 farangs sitting in the pink-neon lighted room ogling the girls. would not do it again for security reason. if they are bold enough to steal your wallets intheir own home, they are capable of the nastiest tricks.
