There are no real legal sex shops, since sex toys might be technically illegal (like porn is illegal, one of those absurd laws).

In addition to vendors on Sukhumvit, there are also street vendors at Silom who have cheap junk at very expensive prices, and won't come down.

Khlong Thom market (at Worachak Road in Chinatown) used to be a decent place for this. Cheap junk at cheap prices after you negotiate a bit.

For instance, the same vibrator I paid 300 baht for at Khlong Thom has the asking price of 1200 at Silom, and they won't come below 600.

She was smiling so beautiful, she seemed so happy to see me, that I totally fell for it. We went straight to the room where she blew me covered and then I fucked her hard. You have to buy these things in a western country and put in your suitcase. Germany has particularly good range of quality stuff.

In these places, it really depends on whether management gives a s**t how the girls perform. And what constitutes good service in the eyes of the management may also be influenced by which nationalities the place cater to primarily (e.g., different target customers at Nataree and the PSE oilies). The girls know at well-managed places that if they do not perform to the standards management expects there will be consequences.

Moreover, if some place like Nataree allowed men to pay after the sessions, I doubt many would consider not paying an option as I suspect one might end up in a similar state as would one who refused to pay a second-floor bar in Patpong.

All in all then, I'm not sure paying up front or afterwards matters much at the tightly run businesses, such as soapies and oilies.

However, where I agree is with go-go dancers and freelancers. Although go-go dancers [I]should be[/I] accountable to their mama-sans and management, often mama-sans and management only care about getting their payments without really caring about the service provided (there are, of course, exceptions). So the level of accountability is less. And with freelancers there essentially is no accountability. So, yeah, for go-go dancers and freelancers, payment afterwards is greatly preferred. Although even here there are exceptions: one of my best go go sessions was at a bar in Patpong where they required payment in advance to the mama-san; this had no negative impact at all on the session although I'm sure if I paid in advance as a matter of course, at some point it would catch up with me.

If you are in need of some good quaity sex toys, bring some from you home country.

Nataree requires guys tonpay upfront. As do other soapies. In past girls in soapies did fail to get paid for aex and there was little they could do about. Most soapies did nor hire a team of bouncers ro belt the crap out of the customers.

Indeed 24 years ago a buddy and I visited a 2nd floor Pat Ping bar. My buddy had to leave in a hurry before me. I got presented with a bill for all sorts of shows we did not intend to pay for and despite a couple of menacing guys, I refused to pay for it and indicated I would pay for the deinks only. We had been guaranteed no cover charge by the outside staff. They asked what badge number of the doir guys were who said no cover charge? Ha Ha. I have been to T Det. My buddy took a short time but I did not. I found it a bit less easy to get to the most desirable girl than at cowboy. I. e. She was busy or assigned to other tables. I didn't find the next best level good enough to my taste.

You can't effectively negotiate the price with the most popular girls. They have too many potential customers. You can be lucky to get to her.

Because if the money has changed hands before the service is rendered there is no need to provide good service. The incentive is gone. This is especially true in Thailand where almost no one is concerned with tomorrow or repeat business. And you yourself say the mamasans don't care and they don't. The power that we have is our wallets. So if the service is not what has been agreed upon then less money is paid, which is only fair.
