A few of my favorites and not pricey either.

1) Hotel Rancho Sosua restaurant for great German food and Weisse beer.

2) New Germany restaurant buffet all you can eat on Thursday. Located on Doc Rosen.

3) Cafe Mamawana -- Great Dominican food and inexpensive. I had the Chicken Guisado, rice, beans every day for lunch -- 250 pesos.

4) Moshas Reggae lounge. Good Jamaican food.

Unfortunately Pirates Bay closed and chef returned to Italy. Baileys is terrible and overpriced however I do like the interior layout. Its the equivalent of a Houlihans.

Having said that, I have never looked for love on the streets where the level of beauty and price is in the eye of the beholder (and his blood alcohol level). I also do not invite anyone who I do not know or is not known to someone I know. Moral of the story: don't get your heart aflutter. The providers frequently offer different prices to different potential customers; of course, you will read fictional recounts of providers offering free sex to customers on forums just for the pleasure of their time, but those stories are just that, stories. The providers visit Sosua for one reason, to make the most money possible. For many customers, Sosua has become a place they visit to try to impress each other on how little they pay providers.

Many of us have noticed the prices significantly increase and decided to visit other places (of course we have the time needed), such as Thailand, where prices are better regulated due to access to significantly more providers (and very attractive providers). There is also a greater diversity of clients in Thailand so you don't have the "Sosua" atmosphere that frequently mimics East Coast inner-city culture.

Good luck. Certainly someone will mention to you that you need to develop a better "game" to entice the providers at a lower cost.

Flew into STI on Thursday morning 2 am. Had a Uber driver I know take me to a decent cabana for a 4 hour nap. Driver was back 7:30 for 8 caribe tour bus 200 pesos in Sosua by 11 am. Hooked up with 2 of my of pass hook ups. Had some of my best sessions with each girl. One of my ladies had 2 nuts with me and my toy. On the streets there were Plenty of girls every where. Most of the girls were average. Never the less more then enough lookers to keep you busy. I banged 5 repeats and 3 newbys. The new girlls were decent but not as good as my repeats. I flew back out of STI on Monday at 230 am. I booked a hotel and spent Sunday in STI. I had chica who is nurse who lives in San Juan. She is smart and attractrive, . She came to Sosua because she knew I would be there. I stood her up and did not call her. I let her know I was in Santiago. She jumped on bus to be with me. We had some really good sex. All in all I had a great time.

I visited Baillys and noticed the service was excellent. The food is about the same but 25% more expensive. I also noticed whites guys every where. They were in all the small bars so they were more under cover. Numbers of blacks seem to congregate in the same places. So it appears their numbers are higher then other groups. I was paying 3500 for my action. Most asked for 80 US but were happy with the 3500.

Sosua is a great place to build a network of decent chicas once you vet them.

3500 is affordable for me. I require a standard that 2000 pesos will not buy in Sosua I was a professional negotiater for many years. For Mr E in Sosua I rarely do over night. Most hookups go for an hour or more. This may be one of the reasons I am rarely scammed.

I am just texting shish to get reactions, info. But pricing has very little to do with scamming. Most scamming comes from attractive girls, getting good bucks, who it's just in their nature to scam, under perform, or not motivated by the client. My personal opinion of course. Some guys just like to feel like sugar daddys and also over spend. It's their nature. Some guys like me like to penny pinch it's in my nature.
