I had been here for the first time some 6 or 7 years ago, and I don't remember much about except that it was a nice town, andI stayed all the time with the girl that pinched my butts in AP.

Now that I'm back, I can really appreciate the value of this place. The town has developed amazingly, and new towers are been built every day. It is clean and safe pretty much everywhere. Quality of life in District 1 beats Bangkok and KL put together, if these towns could sum their very relative qualities, and they can't.

As I gets to understand how it works here, I see how I could be very happy here. Forget the pharmacies and Top Charoen Optical shops, one can do without. And the cheap restaurant anywhere, anytime (more inconvenient, but can still do without). Maybe there is no place like Phuket, or maybe there is, it's up to me to find it. I can relate to people quite easily, they have some sort of firm tranquility not found in Thailand, where with thes smiles all over, one may not understand what is is what. From what I read, law is to be passed that will allow foreigners to old 59% of shares in a company. And customs, regulations and bribing around may be possibly be handled. Just enough to keep one busy and with a good name.

I could go on and one, but have to say. Is not like Saigon has potential. Great things are happening now, if not too late already.
