Since I've gone thru the process before, I went ahead and asked for a Angeles City Accomodations thread. Assuming Jackson creates the new thread, it will give me an excuse to repost some of my older pictures of hotel room interiors...with model included.

After multiple visits in the past year this is a summary of what I have gleaned. Some of it may be of assistance to first timers.

After multiple visits over the past year the following may be of some assistance to new visitors:. ACCOMMODATION. Hotels I have tried and enjoyed are Pacific Breeze, Royal Amsterdam, and Central Park. All excellent, safe, visitors welcome, and good food. PB gets my vote at around $57 US a night. These are all in or around Fields Avenue and in the middle of the Fields Avenue action. FIELDS BARS. Dirty Duck is great value with some stunners and the manager isn't afraid to buy you a drink. The big 4 modern bars are certainly not my taste and with 250P ladies drinks they don't get my business. These are Atlantis, Crystal Palace, Tropix and Dollhouse. Best entertainers sing in Blueberry Hill, the in-house vocalists are awesome. BUDGET BUYERS. Will find the 700P short time at the A Santos St bars a real blast. Some of those girls have developed oral talents that defy description. TRANSPORT. To visit Perimiter Road bars use Jeepneys. Just wave them down and climb in. Current fare is 8P and beats the shit out of 75 or 100 the trike drivers hold out for. Speaking of Perimiter Road bars they are the pick of what is available. Local drinks from 40P and ladies drinks from 90P during the afternoon. Some stunners in most bars and the barfines start at 1000P (Oops. "early work release") instead of the 1350P in Fields. Some of the better bars here are Peanuts, Cheers, and Gentlemans Club. For more experienced players who are not afraid to have their manhood handled before their first beer Nifty's deserves a mention. You will find all the women in the bars are available from Mamasan, waitress, bar staff and of course the dancers. BEST RELAXING BAR goes to Shano's in A Santos Cnr Vian alongside the Pacific Breeze. Great food, great staff, good pool tables and cable TV for Aussie Rules, NRL, cricket and tennis on big screens. And lots of cute waitresses. CASH. Visa card holders have no trouble withdrawing at ATM's outside Voodoo, at Jollibee's or at SM Mall. Hope this is of assistance to any newbies considering a visit.

Roscoe, thanks for the overview. I know for myself I will be visiting Angeles for the first time in a little less then a month so all the info you have provided is very informative for me. I have a quick question though for anyone willing to answer, I'm flying in from Japan, so I arrive rather late at night, and was planning on taking the Pacific Breeze supplied car from Manila to Angeles after landing, which means I would get into Angeles sometime around 12:30 or 1:00 am. So the question is will the clubs still be going strong or should i stay in Manila for the night and head to Angeles the next morning?

I'm having some trouble booking a hotel, will it be okay if I just show up and look around? And if so, what is the best way to get there from the airport? I'm coming at noon and don't want to wait for 3 hours for the 'fly the bus'. How much should a taxi ride from the airport to AC cost?

Also what are your guys opinions of the hotels near the perimeter jeepney pickup? Like the sunset, and premier, and hana hotels. I'm looking for something in 1000-1300 peso range.

There are clubs that remain open 24 hours there and there is always plenty to do. Besides, given that you are ariving in Manila so late your travel time out of town and to AC will be much reduced - should only take you about 1-1.5 hours worst case (unless your driver decides to drive like a grandma).

If you don't want to wait or take the bus or RTTF taxi will cost 2700 peso you shouln't pay more, There are many hotel at AC you should able to get a room in that area at your price if you just show up.

Best thing to do is stay one night in Manila. Go to LA cafe and get a girl.
Next morning take swagman fly the bus to AC. The fare is only 600 pesos.
La cafe is open 24 hours.
Expenses will be almost equal.
Manila Hotel= 2400 pesos
La cafe girl= 1500-2000 pesos all night.
Swagman bus= 600 pesos.

One comes to mind, The Koala GH, at about 600-700p but never been there so can't confirm if its a nice place or not, but price do exist for less money and I concur to have a hotel thread so anyone with info can also hint which places are dumps and which are worth going to (even cheap places).

last night I got a txt from my friend living in Angeles city. He txt me that a german guy was found dead in his garden. Somebody crushed his skull into two pieces.
He used to be doing tours to the Pinaturbo area and was also helpfull to the brother of the german who got killed holy week two years ago (maybe three not sure about this now).

More likely there will be some additional infos on the AC-message boards. However it proofs to me one thing again. Dont mess with the locals, dont [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] somebody off, keep a low profile, specially if you life there. I wont, thats for sure...

yes stayed a week before flying to my fav destination cebu but was truely pleased to see the major improvements in angeles since my virgin trip in 2001

yes somethings never change: i pulled another freebie out of neros bar with the same fugly mamasan that has been working for almost 30 years - well it cost me 500 p for a late night romp - but i am a sucker for nostalgia as per my 2001 virgin post here

as for changes in angeles and from coming from a 3 mos stopover in pattaya i give angeles a thumbs up for all whorist who can waltz in and out of the city without making tracks

i am a later riser so pulling the ladies walking back at 3pm near jj's supermarket for a 500 p tyrst was my mainstay

of course i enjoyed the many bars - roadhouse for the music, new icarus for best value non mother good looking ladies and the many new bars such as atlantis which would impress even a pattaya go go goer

stayed at the sun moon hotel behind abc hotel which had a king size spring mattress at a weekly rate of 1100 p per day. hard to find a better value in angeles

stayed at medgar for a few days but didnt like the setup with the adjoining doors inside the rooms which would bring smoke and noise from those inclined otherwise it was ok

angeles still has a very rough feel to it in terms of the concrete pinoys on standby on all corners watching all comings and goings u get the sense this is a maffia type town

the carnival atmosphere of the place does wear on one after a week; well one drink at each establishment does turn one into a drunken state soon enough

was very impressed with sm clark, the new casino and a few new discos one can semi normal ladies there and its all walking distance

took a tour of clark; decided against a trip to subic due to cold weather and busted out to cebu

with clark having better flight times than manila en route to bangkok i probably will be visiting now and then;

with barfines at 1350 its hard to beat the value worldwide although the ladies in general are just average on the looks department but score tops on customer service.

I found many ladies in the 18 -22 single mom category with small pot belly in the 5-6 star range - few stunners but angeles is the best value in the phil and it is much more comfortable place to have a shag fest.

Can't seem to locate any decent airline deals departing from Angeles city (Philippine) or perhaps from Manila (if I have to) to either Surabaya or Bali. (plan to skip Jakarta if possible.)
Any ideas? let me know.

Did this trip a couple of months ago.

Flew Tiger Air from Clark - Singapore.

Spent a couple of nights in Singapore (excellent mongering) and then flew Jetstar from Changi - Denpasar (Bali). Jetstar and Silk Air also fly to Surabaya.

No direct flights, unfortunately, although Cebu Pacific do fly Manila - Jakarta.
