Kenya is very different from Thailand, I have met several Thai experts trying Nairobi or Mombasa for a change but they never seem able to adjust to it. Thailand spoils you due to the sheer amount of bars and women available. Kenya does not have so many bars and the abundance of women as Thailand but there is still easily enough for what we want.

For Kampala check whether you need yellow fever jab / cert for Uganda? Not sure what that situation is these days. Several years since I went there.

I booked a ticket to Kampala, December 1 - 24 (wanted to stay longer but I have to go in quarantine for 10 days when I return to Belgium.

487 euro non stop flights with Brussels airlines (the company where I have the 6 vouchers).

I asked some more info via facebook messenger at a hotel where I plan to stay for the first nights.

Yellow fever vaccination and a covid test required, curfew between 9 pm and 6 pm, so not too much nightlife.

I do plan to go and see some nature and wildlife besides mongering.

Yes Mombie75, Thailand used to be like that when I started going there in late eighties until mid nineties. There will never be a better place than Thailand in that period IMHO.

Now it's more hardened, more expensive, but still fun (I speak the language), when I retire I will be there for most of the time. Easy to visit Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar. From there.

First get past that damn Covid.

Well, the cancellation of my flight to Bangkok gives me the opportunity to visit Africa for the first time.

There are not many light skinned by western black standards.

It's Africa. Everybody is Black! Don't fret over skin tone, jeez! If you become a frequent visitor it's best to learn about the tribes, and who is in power, who wants the power, and the women's characteristics of the tribe.

I am a regular traveller to Thailand, but given that there is no end in sight to the Covid travel bans, I have started exploring other locations. Kenya seems very promising. Infact I am quite surprised that I have not considered it so far. I have read posts going back a few years on both Nairobi and Mombasa and I am leaning towards Nairobi, but would greatly appreciate inputs from more seasoned Africa mongers.

My rationale for Nairobi:

- Mombasa seems easier for mongering. However, I understood most of the action is centred around Mtwapa. I saw some videos of Mtwapa and I felt I would not be comfortable staying there. Bamburi beach could be an option but from what I saw on google maps, it is about 30 minutes drive and I was not sure if that would be so convenient.

- I am into black girls (one of my regulars is a black university student in London). However, I am not into big booties. I prefer slim girls.

- From what I read, I figured it would be easier to find this type of girls in Nairobi as compared to Mombasa.

- A small factor is also the convenience of direct flights to Nairobi from London.

- I understand cost of girls in Nairobi is higher than in Mombasa. I would off course value for my money and at the same time I am not a budget traveller.
- My trip is likely to be 7-10 days and so not keen on splitting it between two locations

Could I please get some help with the following:

- Given my choice of girls and reluctance to stay in Mtwapa, is it a good choice to go to and or am I missing something about M?

- Another option could be to go to Kampala. However, that seems to a place for big booties and that's not what I am looking for. Am I getting this right?

- Lastly, I am of Indian origin and while that does make life more challenging in Thailand, I have never had to sleep alone for that reason. I wondered how are mongers of Indian origin viewed in Kenya, especially given that there seems to be a large Indian population there? I am early forties and not overweight.

- Nbi has horrible traffic to try to go from a to be. It is much more spread out and girls usually live a distance away. Msa is small and girls usually live close by so easier for meeting, Msa has the beach and clean air for relaxing, superb massages at the beach, very easy to navigate.

- Kampala has more booty on their women.

- There is an Indian population in Kenya but I have rarely come across them tbh. I guess if you act fine and pay there should be no problems.

This helps make things much clearer. Looks like Msa it will be! I was planning a trip late Nov. / early Dec but now it appears that it will have to be next year. Hoping sooner than later! I just learn that Kenya has decided to close borders for French citizen due to the high level of Covid we have now here.

Normally it should be for one month, same as in last March.

Could be the same for some other European countries as the Covid is also at high level in most Europe now.

They only looked at my name, date, and to see if it said PCR and Negative.

I made my own certificate, I didn't bother getting a test.

Today I check the -- Approved List of States and Territories Exempted from Quarantine in Kenya -- and all States from Europ still extemped from Qurantine.
