What day will Medellin start to pick up after Holy Week?
I've been in MDE a few times for Holy Week. The first half of the week will be fine. But starting Wednesday, things will dry up dramatically. If you know girls from previous encounters, you can probably arrange something quick with them. But if you don't have contacts, you'll likely have a hard time finding something.
What day will it start to get busy again? Will all bars and clubs in Parque Lleras be closed? Gustos? Would suck to lose out on a whole weekend!
Yea, I'm going to have to disagree on that
I guess this is similar to the Republican / Liberal divide. One side is all about religion, self-sufficiency and zero tolerance. The other side is about compassion, understanding different points of view and tolerance. I like my world view and you like yours.
I would consider myself more Libertarian than anything, but definitely hold progressive, liberal views, as well as fiscally conservative views. I think the Republican / Democratic divide is complete nonsense. Both sides are full of shit and are corrupt. Behind closed doors, they are elites and do what is best for them, neither party gives a fuck about us.
Anyway, I'm extremely tolerant of many things in life, but I am not tolerant of scammers, con artists, and liars. Allowing that kind of person into your life is not only damaging to your mind and wallet, but it also means you don't know where to draw a line or have healthy boundaries regarding what you consider to be acceptable behavior. You're basically a doormat and are convincing yourself you are helping someone to feel better about being taken for a fool.
I can send you my bank account if you'd like to send me a few hundred every month and I can send you some google images of babies if it makes you feel better.
Shouldn't have said "Republican"
I really liked your posts and could up to a certain point understood where you were coming from. You spoiled it all by bringing up politics.
Let me coin a new abbreviation. BHL bleeding heart liberal.
You are right. I shouldn't have said Republican / Liberal. Hot button terms. I should have said Literalist / Romantic.
I choose to see the world in more romantic terms. Hence my login: Loverboy. Mr. E. And many others will choose to see the world in more stark terms. Clearly they will not be fans of Monger Romance novels. But let's see how they do on Amazon one day.
