You're posts annoy me everytime I read them
I am working on charity or business ideas or helping the kids, not a girlfriend. I have zero romantic interest in the two families I help. One family I am running a sari sari store with. They report the income and expenses to me and I do the accounting. There is more to life than just sex. Sorry, I know there are many that will disagree with that!
I bought the land and built the store for them and now we are just starting to run the store but I have known her and her family for years. Last month was a bit of a loss for the business but I think it's in a good location and will do well. I told her I was going to cover the loss and she objected saying I should keep my money. I just invested in some plastic chairs and a few wooden tables today and was rewarded with pictures of the neighbors sitting in them and eating halo halo.
I understand that some ISGers (all?) subscribe to the philosophy that if you give money to a prostitute you are being an idiot. But Prostitutes (and former Prostitutes) are just people. I will say it again guys: these are just people you are exchanging money for sex with. I am sure (some) of you guys are more than just "disgusting johns". If you have the money you can do more in life than just bang chicks.
I have the money. You're the one making all these idiotic assumptions about if you have money, we would do what you do, but since we aren't paying for the Sunday Asado's for some random former prostitute and her entire neighborhood, we must not have the money. Really, this is the most stupid shit I have ever heard. I'm sure there are plenty of wealthy people here.
You can read my reports and see I treat these women well, and they end up staying for twice as long as agreed. We have a genuinely fun time, but it ends there, until the next time we hang out, in person. I do not discount the fact that they are just people and I treat them just like that. But I still have personal boundaries.
Look, half my passive income gets re-invested as it is tax sheltered. The other half is for spending. Living here in Medellin, being absolutely insane with spending, I couldn't even spend a quarter of that discretionary amount. So there's extra money every direction you look. I have categories 1. Re-investment 2. Discretionary spending (mostly travel, restaurants, women) 3. Charity of my choice, I have a few I like and know well.
I do not have a category for supporting former prostitutes that have lied to me. I do not care to spend my time building businesses that may or may not work. Its not the money man, its the time and effort, that shit you cannot get back. A photo of some random people I do not know eating food on plastic chairs does not make me feel better about myself. I don't get this. Your intentions are good but the way you go about them is totally wacked out to me.
The more I read your posts and especially about the 3-some in El Centro, I'm getting the feeling that all of this is completely made up, and if it is, I don't get what you are doing here. This forum is to provide value for those who are looking to visit Medellin and learn, and you're not providing that.
It's been real, it's been fun; but maybe not real fun
With that I am going to ignore this forum a while. I am going to the Philippines in May. Mexico in June. Philippines again in September. And Panama in October. Look for my posts in those threads.
