Pre vs post Covid
Same as above guys. Last time I was here I RTFF and got some great gems of clubs at soi 6 (can't recall the names unfortunately) which were amazing, I could buy ladydrinks at first floor in a secluded corner and girls would allow me to get really frisky, even got a BBJ there. I DIG this kind of action, don't get me wrong I don't mind picking up 1 k deals from Beach Road but getting frisky at the club is just the best for me. RTFF reveals that the situation isn't back to normal yet as it was in 2019 or did I miss something and the clubs are letting their girls go the extra mile for some lady drinks?
A few less gogo bars on walking and brass houses on soi 6. LK fully open. Soi boomerang, pothole and Treetown all much bigger than pre Covid. Plenty of the old crappy no AC beer bars have gone and unlikely to come back. Thankfully the skank freelancers that blighted beach road are slowly being eradicated now. Loving every day here for the last 8 years.

Thanks for your comment.
Haha. 10 K to 30 K definitely wasnt the per night prices: the.
I got 2 chicks everyday ranging from freelancers, bar girls and their friends.
7-11 absolutely is godsend. Right from topping up my local number to groceries, beers to condoms (expensive though: P) everything at one place.
I'm too planning to visit it soon. Mentally I'm still there. LOL: the.
I agree wholeheartedly. My most recent 3 month visit was epic. It was especially cool to have some chick I fucked introduce me to a new 20 yo girl that's just barely starting off.
You mind sharing how much you paid these ladies? 10 K to 30 K wasn't per lady per night, was it? Even if it is, I don't mean to judge.
7-11 was godsend! Being able to eat some amazing dumplings, zhu mai, fried rice, and green curry any time of the day (especially after a night out getting piss drunk) was amazing. It's the 3rd thing I miss the most from Thailand. 1st being the women and 2nd being the $3 Thai massages.
I'll be going back in a couple months :)
Thanks for your comment.
Haha. I can totally understand and have experienced it myself: the.
For that lunch amount you could have gotten a boom boom session.
I'm too planning to visit it soon.
Thanks JizzyB for your report.
I was there May 3rd. Right when restrictions lifted and yeah I like Beach Road. Plus you can chit chat with the ladies and get their vibe. I like the adorable ones who run up to me and say "Can you fuck my ass, " "I want you to cum inside my pussy" - those classy Thai freelancers get me every time. Plus. As I am here in California eating my meagre Chipotle lunch with a soda. Cost of $24.65 - I can also say 'here here" to your observation about prices. Still reasonably cheap food down in Pattaya and 7-11's everywhere. Think I'll go back myself soon.
Absolutely it does.
Good luck with your trip: the.
I'm in Cali too. Eating out has gotten too pricey for me so I rarely if ever eat out. Saving every dollar possible for my Thailand trip in August. That $24.65 Chipotle damn near pays for an ST session LOL.
Soapies
I was there in pattaya in April when the soapies were closed. Howz the scene now? Any recommendations?
I was wanting to know how prices of food compared and are there as many street vendors with food. And do visa runs work the same or not really as they did pre COVID.
I can say that I am on soi 6 allot and three years ago you had tons of street vendors going up and down the street. Example would be those pie carts with the gravy on top. You would see those go by five times a night but not anymore. Soi 6 has rebounded with bars and girls being open but the street vendors are lacking. Those coffee drink carts all tried getting together and raising their prices from 20 to 25 baht while its still 20 baht in Bangkok. All that's done is hurt their business. Prices have stayed reasonable I would say. Now for guys looking for a taste of back home (trust me on this). Go to Charlie Beach on soi 13/2 and order the pork chop with mash / w gravy. It comes with fresh baked bread for 180 baht. Pork chop is pretty good although a tad thin but its the mash with gravy that is amazing.
As to visa runs. Not sure they are running those border vans anymore so flying in and out via the airport might be the only option right now.

So.
Thanks for the responses guys but the original question still stands can the exhibitionist in me have fun in gogo bars like the old days? If so what bars you guys recommend?

I have heard rumors that the practice continues today but I won't be able to verify until mid-October.

Good position to be in
See where it goes, play hard to get will alway create attachment, women act just like men do in that respect. Will go back and read your early reports interesting story. I, too, have heart cold now since no love will show love unless your tell them your not interest in the slightest.
Lately I have been kicking it with the soapy chick. Total GFE. I no longer have to give her money. We went to see Thor the other night and she bought the snacks. (Then last night another chick invited me out to see Thor!) Last night she paid for dinner. Funny thing is that I don't even know what her name is! Too late to ask her now. I will have to pull a Seinfeld and when we go around my friends get her to introduce herself. She is on my facebook but all her shit is in Thai. I think we had to send a link in Line to even figure out how to add each other.

That is true for most bars, but there are now more bars with Thai men instead, compared to 2019.
Just out of curiosity? Do you know first hand that these are in fact Thai customers. Were they pointed out to you? Did you actually here them speak Thai?
Or assuming?
In my walk abouts I've noticed that the Thai guys at bars are more look outs, bouncers, or paid to be managers since many bars are owned or finance by foreign ownership and don't have word permits.

Soi 6
Happy to see the reviews of Soi6. Before the pre covid time, visited Pattaya 4 or 5 times in a year. 2016 onwards stayed most of the time in Soi6 Queen Vick (Queen Victoria Inn) opposit Off Shore bar. Room in the first floor and watching girls and their actions in the day time was really exciting. Evening bar hooping was my hobby, exploring the bars of Night wish group. It was a fun filled time. After 11 PM BF for LT one of my friendly girl and go for dancing in walking street.Come back to hotel around 3 in the morning and get into hotel through steel ladder on the back. He he. Sleep with girl till noon before her next shift. Really I miss it. Planning my next trip in August after a long break. Don't know how is my favourite street in Pattaya respond to me then.
The Thai men in the large bars aren't customers, they work there. Serving drinks.
And no, they aren't from Myanmar.
Or could be from Myanmar.
I don't like to question the majority of things here? I don't have enough experience to know whether it would be a Myanmar person but if I'm able to listen I can usually figure out my wife from Sukhothai her tone is a bit different I usually can tell But this thing about more Thai men now visiting bars, especially the location being mentioned I have my doubts. As you know I live with Thais, and can easily be mistaken for a Thai pre and post-Covid depending on the establishment can be stereotyped as Korean, or Japanese, I've been stopped a number of times entering into a GoGo, ask if I was Thai. Times I enter GC the place goes a bit silent as if I'm the police there have been times I swear a few farangs pee in their pants after I walked in.
My experience or assumption whenever I do my rounds around town if I see an Asian in a bar it depends on how they are interacting with the staff and where they are sitting I usually can spot them that they aren't a customer but has some dealing with the bar or club. With all the restrictions there are more hires of Thais as lookouts etc. Even prior to Covid, on W. S. There was a particular chain of clubs with lookouts and runners with Walkie Talkies to warn the clubs.
Sure it can happen especially after Covid but the Thais majority wouldn't be caught dead as customers unless they were invited cause they know the Thai manager, special party. Two particular GoGo on W. S. Pre-covid I've found myself sitting or drinking with Thais from Bangkok young rich, spoiled and arrogant, the Pattaya ones are usually the lower-end wannabe's Thai mafia soldiers earned a bit of money who don't have any manners and want to show off with their new found wealth.
As for being just customers especially boyfriends of girls working the bars I just don't see it although I understand this is a general statement.
