Long time lurker on Korea thread, no personal experience but....there are several double barbarshop poles right across the street from Coex/Oakwood Premier Hotel complex in Kangnam. I mention this only because both hotels are comparable to Grand Hyatt. Have stayed at all three multiple times in past 10 yrs and plus/minus but all equals out.

Any help would be great![/QUOTE]JJ at Hyatt is hit and miss! I stay there regularly. My working schedule is rather similir to yours so I end up for the last drink at JJ's. But most of the time there are girls around - but not really freelancers. I made a couple of contacts where the girls ask you to go one more place, mostly down to Itaewon. However here be carefull, these girls than take you to a bar where the drinks can be very expensive. You pay a high price for the drinks and they get back the difference from the bar. So watch out. To get freelancers at JJ's is a difficult task but if you are prepared to spend some money there will always be a choice. Good luck!

I'm not sure on the cover charge but the location is correct.

Price was normally KrW 16,000.
I have had some special at 15,000 sometimes and 1 day paid 18,000.
You are washed by a cutie who will take care of all your little corners. Then massage on the table. Then your mileage may vary. HJ for sure. BJ when you are lucky.
I had FS only once 5 years ago on a Sunday aftenoon.

Post your experience. I shall visit again in brief if still open.

Yes, there are. At most a half dozen or so. They hang out around the main bar. (You'll notice that the non-working Koreans are in groups seated at the tables and are attended to by the wait staff.) The working girls will make eye contact and usually strike up a conversation w/ you. Expect to be quoted high prices ($300-$500), especially when she knows you're staying at the Hyatt. I've never seen a young hottie working there; age range is late 20s to mid 30s. The Hyatt is approx. 5 minutes away from Itaewon, where you can bust a nut for a lot less. And given your time constraint it's a quick hunt. Lots of info about Itaewon in this thread.

What Giovanni28 mentions about the the girls at JJ's inviting you to go clubbing in Itaewon is indeed true. A buddy of mine got nailed for a $400 bottle of wine.

This is my first time to Korea, and thanks to our brothers at ISG, I went to 588 two days ago for some sight see. Being a major cosmopolitan city, I am amazed to see that the city is totally English unfriendly. Not much english signs, and even university students don't know how to speak good english. I lived in Seoul for 10 years in the late 80's and early 90's and the scene has changed a lot since then. Itaewon was fun back then, lots of clubs to hunt up a lot of fun. Today the game is different in Itaewon, plus back then I knew alot of people. Now, I get to Korea 2 to 3 times a year for a week each time.

Is there any clubs in Itaewon with some old fashion Korean Club fun to be had at?

Does anyone have any idea about such an hotel?
